back Ty it seemed like after that first that first touchdown drive you really started to gain your footing there a little bit did you start to did you feel that way out there yeah I think we all just get the jenders out um know it's fun to play these big games because the environment so I think we all just kind of had take a few drivs take a few plays to soak it all in but uh yeah when we uh F like we get our gr going we we're moving the ball and doing what we need to do you personally D did you feel like you kind of got some more confidence out there today yeah yeah definitely wasn't proud of what I put on fiing last week um so I you know told myself I need to prove myself to not only to my teammates but myself again lost bit a little confidence after last week's performance but felt like I got back on track this week um still turnovers again not good so I mean I'm hurting the team like that so it's uh I got to look at the mirror and look film what am I doing wrong it looked like you ran the ball a little bit more this week too was that was that part of it yeah it's just whatever coach calls um I know we uh they've always brought a lot of guys down in the hats or in the box so you have enough hats for us to block we um we involved a lot of QB runs so the running back could actually be a leag longer um so we were haded up and uh you know not outnumbered go ahead I'm sorry what was the key Improvement you guys made this week as an offense um I think just get in the Rhythm um last we was definitely tough you know getting switched back me on me and Logan um personally I've never done that before know being rotated like that so me one was to really play well and getting a Groove um I think this week you know being able to establish my footing in the game and understand what they're doing on third down now and like what they showed us the last time we were in this formation I think you know um being able to be out there every play was a big difference did you see any Improvement in the offense overall today absolutely yeah I think uh you know I think we showed some confidence at times I think we felt like we were you know we weren't outmanned by any means obviously very good players over there but I didn't feel like you know they weren't World beaters compared to us you know a lot of people think whenever they power five plays group of four or group of five teams that you know they're just going to out musle us and be better athletes all across the board and I don't think that was the case today I think um you know we just didn't put enough plays stacked up on top of each other to finish the endone every job F thanks Tyler thanks one other thing you all have had some problems on third down last last week two for 10 this week at one time you were like two for 11 or 12 anything that you can pinpoint with that you said we're two for 10 today yeah last week you were two for 10 at one time you were like two for 11 or something like that what were we today two for 12 two for 12 um yeah I don't know I think that's kind of on us you know it's big on first and second down you're not behind the chains I think just by every time you know know those 10 that we did convert it's probably because it was third acre long um third acre plus so I mean It's just tough on you know offense to really do that it's a lot you know they're bringing bringing the house on third down so it's a three line us on first second down is why we're not converting on third down thanks sir thank [Music] so just your overall Impressions from today yeah just upset that we didn't play better at times uh particularly with um some of the Miss assignments uh not guarding a guy probably six or seven times give him easy first downs or touchdowns that's just you know no excuse for that and offensively we had some stuff but you know we didn't finish drives uh as well and they're a good team I've got a lot of respect for their program I think coach bra from the best in the country I think they win the league and and be in the playoff but you know we also felt that we you know had some opportunities today and um didn't play our best to do that so we got to get that fixed what did Tyler show you today showed me a lot of toughness you know he's you it's his first year in the system but you know he ran hard he was seeing the field well and when he missed something he knew it you know coming off the sideline so he'll he'll continue to grow and get better and you know I thought he played he gave us a chance you know unfortunately we didn't run the ball very hard beside him and didn't block well enough at certain points but uh you know there I'm sure I watch the film there' be some stuff to grow on Fair to say he's solid number one now or how do you view that yeah I mean I think he you know Logan was hurt all week so Logan didn't practice much so Tyler was going to get the start but based on today you know don't see reason why Tyler wouldn't start the next one defense did you see any POS you know there's there moments where we played you know solid defense but you know we gave up way too many third Downs didn't tackle well at all we duck in our head and then the the frustrating part was you know deep balls down the field we we we haven't made a play on ball yet and then then the time then five or six times we didn't guarded tight end for easy first down so you know we got to watch the film and get that fixed because you can't just gift a talented team first downs like that I mean you got to make them earn it and we did we didn't we didn't do that today is some of that just guys get you know a lot of new on defense including the coordinator getting used to getting to know what to do yeah mean hope maybe that is it you know there's eight or nine new starters but you know at some point you got to fix it right you we knew it was wrong in the first game and we didn't get it fixed in the second game so you know obviously we all we got to look at ourselves first what we're doing and and then our players got to take uh you know a little little ownership in it too which they will I got I got guys that are pretty conscientious and I I think they'll take ownership of it and get it fixed thanks
