Barcelona news ft Dani Olmo, Angelo Stiller, Mika Faye and more!

Intro hello everyone welcome back and today in this video I just wanted to talk about some Barcelona news that we've seen in the past couple days and before I even get into that I just want to say firstly I apologize because I haven't made a video in about two weeks I would say and I'm I'm sorry about that because I just haven't really seen that much Barcelona news regarding the club and the signings that they want to make in the summer because of course I think the main focus currently is on the euros and the cop America coming up and I've been watching a lot of games at the Euros I think there's been a lot of exciting games and of course we're all getting really excited to see the cop America tournament uh starting tomorrow with Argentina yeah I'm very excited for both of those tournaments just to continue watching these games so I haven't seen that much news regarding FC Barcelona so I wanted to wait until there was you know a good amount of players that I could talk about so I'm going to talk about those players today and the first Dani Olmo link that I want to talk about is Danny ELO who of course we're going to continue to hear being linked to Barcelona I think it's almost every summer if he doesn't come to Barcelona this summer next summer we're going to hear the same exact story and it's always you know being linked back to Barcelona because he came from the Academy I think the way that he plays yes ideally you know it does match the philosophy that Barcelona wants to play but for the rumored 50 to 60 million is that worth it in my opinion no I think he does remind me a little bit about joa Felix that on their day they're great they can play onws they can connect with their teammates they can break down a defense but it's on their day and and Dani El Mo he's had some good moments with the Spanish national team I think sometimes he's been very impressive to watch same with RB leig you know I've watched a couple games of leig in the past few years think he's been good you know he he does look like a player that you know makes the right pass that he's a smart player that you know he can maybe do things that other players couldn't see I I just don't think 50 to 60 million it's worth it in the summer I would much rather the club go ahead and try and sign Nico Williams for around 50 to 60 million and I don't know if that's going to be a possibility but I just don't want Danny omo to join the club and then the same exact situation with Felix happens that he doesn't really have a best position at the club he's maybe not getting the right amount of game time and then that 50 to 60 million I could see a Danny ELO type of signing become in the same range as fan Torres where you know he's a decent player to have in the squad sometimes he can produce great matches but he's just not a game breaker he's not a player that I don't think would Elevate the club to the next level where you you know want to see Barcelona get back to so no offense Dan to Danny Elmo I think he's a good player but is he what Barcelona needs in the summer in my opinion he's not I've seen him play on the right with with Spain and with rby leig maybe you know he could be playing well in that position but I would definitely rather keep Rafia and of course laminal are going to be both on that side so you would think buying him to being played as a left attacking midfielder somewhat like we saw with r Felix but did that really work out I think my opinion seeing Nico Williams on the left wing and then linum Mo on the right that would be the best case scenario for me we don't know if that's going to be a possibility but Danny omo for around 50 to 60 million it's a no from me and I think a lot of fans are also just outraged at this because you know some some fans aren't happy with Deco and the signings that he's trying to make but they're just rumors currently we can just go off of what we know but Danny ELO in my opinion I don't think Barcelona should be making him a priority in the summer now as lorta Nico Williams himself confirmed Barcelona are going to try and sign a left Winger in the summer and the first priority I don't think there are any doubts about it is niik Williams I know linal has said you know he wants to share a locker room with with linal or with niik Williams at Barcelona that would be really nice to see I would really like to see them two on the flanks because you know in that first game against Croatia I actually wasn't able to watch that but I saw the highlights and how many people were praising lamin Ma I mean that's just so nice to see to be honest and I think them two together on the attack that would really elevate on his front three because I think at times this season especially when Lin M wasn't playing man those games were boring to watch they just looked like they didn't really have a plan going forward but I think Nico Williams and lamini Mall playing together in a front three with leowski and hopefully VTO ROK splitting time in the middle that would be an upgrade to Barcelona's attack but we're just going to have to wait and see if he would really even leave Bill Baal and to be honest we've heard other names like kavar scelia Danny omo I'm trying to think of other ones I know Rafael which that doesn't seem like it's going to happen at all but we've heard a lot of different names in that position niik Williams I think is the front runner and if it's between Nik Williams and Danny Danny ELO you want to spend 50 to 60 million on a player it's got to be niik Williams in my opinion because I think he can really transition into that left wing position very easily with Danny Elmo like I said on his day he could be very well but I think I put him in the same category as joal Felix so you might as well just keep joal Felix on loan then then go sign Danny Elmo And I think that would also maybe change the the Chavi Simmons situation I would like if if Barcelona can still be able to sign him even if they do end up signing niik Williams I would like to had Nico Williams and Danny omo that would be great so we'll just have to wait and see but Danny Elmo for me I don't think that would be the best signing for Barcelona but you know I could agree to disagree with some fans on that and then the next Angelo Stiller player that I wanted to talk about is Angelo Stiller from stutgart and he actually is from Byron's Academy and a fun fact I did get to watch him in a preseason game it was Byron against AC Milan in the United States when they came for their preseason tour and I don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure that he played up top but now he's of course playing more as a number six as a midfielder which you know I think it'd be a great signing for Barcelona but then I saw a couple days ago that the rumored fee would be around 50 million no chance that Barcelona are going to be able to pay that in the summer I mean you know we were being rumored to players like zubba mindi I as Stuart I mean I think they've had a very good season I'll be honest I didn't really get to watch that many games I've only really watched a couple I'll be completely honest I think Angelo Stiller he did look very promising I think he's got great technique he's got you know a great array of passes that he could play but I mean 50 million that that's on a level that I don't think Barcelona can do in the summer unfortunately but you know if it it is around maybe 15 to 20 million in that range I think that'd be a pretty promising signing in my opinion he's a U23 German player as well you know that that's a player that you could invest some money in and there were some rumors that Byron were trying to bring him back to the club in the summer but I think Vince and Company I don't think I've really heard any rumors about that since he was appointed as the new head coach so maybe he has different plans but yeah I mean Stuart I think they've had a very good season Angelo Stiller has been one of their key players this year and you know we've just seen some highlights of course I haven't been able to watch that many full 90 minutes which to judge a player I would like to see more of him live for 90 minutes and see what he can produce and give to the game but Angelo Stiller he does look promising for 50 million no way but if it's around 15 20 million that's a signing that Barcelona definitely could look into and if if hansy flick wants him in the team I hope lorta can make it happen also just wanted to comment on Deca really quick because on Twitter I'm seeing a lot of stuff from Barcelona fans that they're just not happy with the way that he's running the transfers this summer and the players that he's targeting again we can just say we don't know for sure what's going on in the inside of the club a lot of these rumors maybe they don't have that much validity to them but some rumors are a little bit scary like spending 50 to 60 million on Dano you know if that does happen I hope that he has success but I just don't think it's worth that 50 50 to 60 million I just don't think that's that should be happening and some some Barcelona fans are just upset with the way that Deco is trying to operate the club and I understand those frustrations Deco I do I think Deco you know he has made some promising signings or at least attempts at signings I think of IG guler that was one of his targets and arger I mean he just looks like such a good player unfortunately he went off to Madrid but then I think of eevar who signed with um Manchester City Barcelona just couldn't compete financially even though e ofar he did say he would you know like to play for Barcelona Deco did want to sign him just didn't work out because financially they couldn't compete with City and then the same with estal Willian I think Deco tried didn't work out with VTO ROK Deco did end up making that signing happen and I'm very excited about that but still I understand some some fans being upset about Deco you know with the signings that he makes and you know sometimes with within the club it's maybe what you did as a player and then you get a position in office and it just doesn't work out we saw that under bso's um time at the club won't get started about that but yeah you know I know maybe he hasn't made the best signings I think there's been a couple decisions that he's made that I don't really understand but you know I I have seen some promising signings that he's tried to make and I hope he can continue in that same way Summer plans and overall for the summer plan I don't think Barcelona needs an entire revamp I think they have a great Squad I think the way that you know the last season went I just think they underperformed so badly it was the right decision for Chavi to leave I'm excited to see what hanzi flick can do with the squad I think it is going to be somewhat of a of a big change in the way that Barcelona want to play and go about you know heading into a game and the way that they prepare for the games I'm excited for all of those changes and I hope that they are positive ones but also you know in the market I don't think they need to go make a bunch of sales I don't think they need to completely change the way that this team is being run I I just think you know a couple signings that need to be made hopefully a left Winger hopefully another midfielder maybe another Defender and and then another attacker would be nice I mean like realistically if we could get a sign get a summer signing like Chavi Simmons on loan ni Williams Angelo Stiller and and P like around 70 million for those signings I think I'd be pretty content with that in the summer and maybe maybe some fans would say that's just not enough quality if Barcelona wants to get back to the best I don't know I I think also we're going to have to depend we're going to have to see if Barcelona can get back to that one of one rule which would really help Barcelona make some signings in the summer of course that'd be a huge boost if they can actually you know register their players and and go into the transfer market instead of you know last summer I mean they did end up signing players like goonan and Canelo Felix on but their biggest their most expensive signing was Oro Romeo for 3.5 million and there were some rumors that he paid part of his you know release CLA I don't think that's actually true but yeah obviously Barcelona weren't able to spend that much on the market because of you know the oneof one rule that you know La Liga has in play which maybe it's for the betterment of the league we don't know I mean that's La Liga obviously has not made it very easy for Barcelona in the past couple seasons and and financially yeah I mean it it's not in the best SP state right now but I don't think they need a complete revamp I hope they can make some smart signings in the summer hope they they can invest in players that have a lot of potential and can you know sign players that maybe can become some of the best players in the world in their position I would love to see that but you know Deco hope he's making smart signs in this summer I don't think people need to panic in my opinion and another player that I wanted Mika Faye to talk about is m f who's of course currently on Barcelona athletic I think he has a lot of promise hopefully we can see him at some point in Barcelona's first team but there has been a rumor that Barcelona were offered 15 million from FC Porto and then of course if they do end up selling him they would also have a buyback Clause I don't exactly know if I think that's the right deal I think some barcel fans saying you know financially it's a great idea because they just bought maau FEA for around 5 million I think from the Croatian league and then they're going to sell him for 15 million and he didn't even make an appearance in Barcelona's first team yeah that does seem like good business but also you know for a player that's 19 years old I mean should you give him maybe one more season to see if he can move into the first team who knows if Barcelona does have some injury s next season if he can make his debut that'd be really nice to see I mean Chavi was asked about it and he said ma he might make his debut in the p in the last couple games of La Liga that didn't end up happening but yeah we'll just have to wait and see I hope that the club can keep maau because I think the same thing happened with Theo that maybe you know some fans said he just makes a couple mistakes he's you know maybe not as consistent as some other Defenders that the club has but I mean we saw what happened with Ronald raho Barcelona bought him for around 5 million and look at the player that he's becomeing now I'm not going to say that's what's going to happen with maau but that's the potential that he has I think you know from what I've seen he looks like a great player with a lot of promise I'm really excited about his future at the club so I don't want to give up on him after one season even if it looks like good profit or a good business idea I hope he stays at the club but we'll just have to wait and see how that progresses Copa America and then of course I'm sure you all are watching the euros and probably going to watch the Copa America getting really excited for that tournament but yeah I mean players like goonan Lin Maul I think they really impressed at the Euros so far and tomorrow Spain play I don't know when this is going going to come out it's probably going to come out tomorrow morning so Spain will be playing later today I believe I'm really excited to see linum ma maybe ferine Lopez can get an appearance in that game yeah I think that you know there are a lot of good Barcelona players on display currently but also I want to talk about Gan because I mean he's been so good for that German national team and I hope that's how hzi flick uses him because he was being played sometimes as a defensive midfielder which he did the job there but I don't think his attributes are best suited in that role I think it's best to get him close to the box where he can make smart runs in behind connect with the attack and and of course he's been doing so well with Germany and a lot of people are talking about muala and Florian vers and hopefully one of them or both of them can end up at FC Barcelona at some point but I think that's obviously not going to happen this summer there's no chance either of them join the club but floran vers next summer I hope Barcelona can make that signing happen musala maybe in the future I don't know if he ever would leave bayron but yeah it's been a really exciting tournament so far I mean I think my favorite game in in my opinion was turkey versus Georgia that was just such an exciting game and yeah unfortunately Barcelona did Miss out on AR guler because I think he is just such a top talent but yeah it's been a really good tournament so far I'm really excited for the cop America to start and some pretty good performances from Barson players overall and I'm excited to see them continue to play at the Euros tournament and of course whenn the cop America starts as well anyways thank Outro you again for watching my video and again I do
