Beyonce Graces the Cover of GQ (And Opens Up Inside About Music, Motherhood, & More!)

by this guy wouldn't that be awesome wouldn't that be great you know it would be even better if Beyonce happened to roll up in Pizza she's already branching out into one of my other Favorite Things whiskey and she's opening up about some of her other business ventures in a very rare interview check it out she is on the cover of GQ Magazine's October issue now I do have to throw one quick caveat here even the author of the article admitted this interview was conducted over email still very private person that Beyonce but she did for a series of photographs as well and look they are sizzling phots opened up about a lot in the magazine like I said her business ventures her sir Davis whiskey line she also talked about her music she talked about motherhood she talked about more when it comes to the music one of the questions a lot of people have had a lot of people had heading into let's say the VMAs coming up tomorrow night is where were the visuals Beyonce two straight albums we've got Renaissance part one and part two Cowboy Carter I know you talked about that a little earlier today where were the visuals and she said you know what I don't need to the music speaks for itself and the fans delivered on the visuals whether it was Tik Tok whether it was the way they dressed when they came to the concerts and all of the love they showed her on social media so Beyonce I do not hold your breath for any music videos anytime soon but you can check out that whole article on their website and on newss near you I'm so I'm glad you you said that because I have not bought a magazine in over a decade you know an actual magazine it's been a hot minute the only place I buy physical Magazine still is at the airport and when I'm about to get on an airplane and I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to have that sort of connectivity it's usually an issue of GQ I was a subscriber for a very very very long time I will say part of the issue to your point is that when I get those sneak peek articles when they drop on social media and when I can just log on to the website it's kind of stopped me from buying the physical copy but I remember when Beyonce was on the cover about 10 years ago or so that was when I still did have my subscription and I probably saved it she looked good I'll just say that she looked good she has always looked good we got time for one more let's touch on uh Kendrick Lamar Kendrick Lamar I'm sure you talked about this yesterday he is going to be the Super Bowl Halftime performer which you can catch right here on Fox 5 in February Tom Brady making the call that announcement came out yesterday well excuse me it came out Sunday it came out before the season even started little early this year I will admit and while a lot of people love that idea a lot of people excited to see especially on the heels of his huge huge hit taking on Drake that Feud talking about not like us there are some of his own peers who were not as thrilled we're talking artists like Nicki Minaj and Birdman who called out Jay-Z Rock Nation and Kendrick himself the Super Bowl is going to be in New Orleans Lil Wayne is from New Orleans he is a HomeTown favorite there and a lot of people thought that maybe he should have gotten that headlining gig Jay-Z standing behind Kendrick Lamar saying he is a once in a generation Talent now we don't know what Kendrick Lamar has planned we don't know maybe he will have some collaborations Usher performed in Vegas it's not always someone from the town where the game is going to be played especially since it's played in just kind of few cities and they rotate between them this is also not Kendrick Lamar's first time performing at the Super Bowl he was there in 2022 with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg when it was in LA he is a California Native as we know so we'll have to wait and see how this all kind of plays out but harsh words from Nicki Minaj and Birdman about this selection I I I think at some point he will probably bring let's say little Wayne out on stage during that actual performance the question is if he asks him to will he accept that being little Wayne is a big question right now all right producer Chris with the topics and the an pizza and the an pizza here I'm hungry I always leave here hungry on the live Zone hey guys if you're single and ready to mangle a major event taking place right here in the nation's capital coming up tonight we'll chat about it next right here on the LZ
