because these two it was nip and tuck in the first set they went break for break for break all the way up until the very very end I mean it was a pretty entertaining match and the crowd definitely got their money's worth you can see here uh it was sabalenka she was the one who was broken first she broke straight back and then she broke again but then it was it was like the sabalenka of old you felt 53 up and then she loses her serve they go all the way to 55 65 and then an extra long game right at the end of the first set it had break points it had uh game points it had everything but the main thing that happened was sabalenka yet again proving that she can come back from a set mentally like when she has a winning position and she loses it she's able to gain it back again and gain the momentum and she gained the momentum in that first set won it 75 and then it went on to the second set and it was more of the same except for this time she went up the early break in the second set and it was Pula who started to just tear backwards the crowd started to get on her side we thought it's Pula going to do the unthinkable now she's just come back and it got all the way to 43 to 53 and then we had Jess Pula serving for the second set but she couldn't do it and she went down love 40 on her serve when she was serving for the second set and managed to save two of the break points but the third one was the real teller then it went 65 and this time sabalenka did it again 75 broke the serve of Pula and just the hitting was so hard Pula some of the shots she wasn't able to get back into play and sabalenka just proved that she is the best hardcore player on tour and she wins her second hardcut slam of the year year as well she is Australian Open Champion as well we' got Jose Arena and her fans yeah she's just played back-to- back Americans at the US Open and had no one on her side other than her box and she still came out smelling her roses well done aren sabalenka she was definitely the bookie favorite well-deserved winner I think most people had a other than Feliciano Lopez I think he was the only one picking someone different everywhere but most people had
