I think this story gives us some really good insight into how media bias functions two employees for Russian State media were recently indicted for covertly funding millions of dollars to a right-wing Us Media company they deployed nearly $10 million to a rather large Tennessee based online content creation company now while the company in question is not explicitly named in the indictment the description given though narrows it down so that we can pretty confidently assume that it is tenet media now tenet has partnered with a variety of right-wing commentators such as Lauren Southern Tim P Dave ruin and Benny Johnson now I actually think all of them are pretty damaging figures but let's just focus on Tim pool for now here we have one of the many Clips where what Tim pool says overlaps pretty clearly with Russian State interest this is psychotic Ukraine is the enemy of this country Ukraine is our enemy being funded by the Democrats I will stress again one of the greatest enemies of our nation right now is Ukraine hopefully it goes without saying that is unhinged delusional and the opposite of the truth but something I want to highlight is I would be shocked if anyone let alone RT employees directed Tim P to say that for starters Tim P didn't even say this on the show that he contracts with tenant media he said this on his own show timcast rather than Tim P being directly fed Russian propaganda I believe his voice was one of the many uplifted by Russian propagandists because he says stuff like this and I think that's very a often the case with large media figures rather than them being told what to say the people propping them up are just very confident they are on their own going to say what they want them to now some people might try and say that is a distinction without a difference and keep in mind this is just an indictment it has yet to be proven Beyond A Reasonable Doubt in a court of law if we want to combat the horrible information that's put out there I think it's worth understanding the mechanisms through which it goes
