Drones in Bamberton Provincial and the Esquimalt Rib Fest

Intro [Music] hey everybody uh i've been hiding out in nanaimo for the last four or five days um just taking things easy it was a long trip i figured i'd take a little break but you're not gonna notice that in the videos The Plan yeah it was nice just to be able to put down the camera and just kind of relax my health was starting to bug me so i figured i'd take a little small hiatus for my own health reasons and uh today we're heading to victoria uh i have a birthday celebration to appear but i also hear there's rib fest so i'm gonna try doing a few things and the biggest surprise of all is i bought me a dji mavic mini so yeah i'm pretty stoked to uh pull it out and um take it for a flight and let's see what kind of fun we can have with it today's gray and wet but hopefully when we get down to the capital city it's going to be sun shining and a good time so let's hit the road let's have some fun today and um yeah follow along [Music] Bamberton Park so we've been on the road for a bit and um decided to pull over and uh let the dog go and uh picked a beautiful little spot this is a bamberton it's actually a provincial campground we're just going into uh facilities still heading to victoria but yeah let's go check out the park we are uh just south of uh uh mill bay heading south to victoria so just south of pamperton park it's on the side of the highway you can't miss it if you're looking for it [Music] okay so i guess i have to uh walk to the beach i forgot about that i thought you could actually drive down to it but i think that's what goldberg wants to go for a walk so i'm gonna bring the uh drone just in case and uh yeah let's go check on the beach [Music] well here's the bottom of the trail and look at all the cars [Music] Drone Launch so this is my new toy and we're gonna launch it out here it's a crappy day but i need the practice i'll try to keep it above land [Music] yeah the last few years my doctors have been trying to figure out what's wrong with me i've been uh on the cardiac award and for they monitored my heart and said nope nothing wrong and they try to tell me that you know i have copd and so is uh recently now it's like i don't know how many times i stopped coming up that hill and uh yeah that was the first time i actually took it out and flew it let's uh get going victoria do you think that walk goldberg yeah it's a pretty nice park eh [Music] so yeah this is known as the mala hat uh connects mill bay to victoria it's just a windy road up along the uh side of the mountain uh one way into victoria went away up basically so there's an accident on here sucks and as you can see not the best of days for traveling oh well make the best of everything [Music] Rib Fest so we made it to redfest down here victoria check this out [Music] we have to get our priorities straight and grab some liquor tickets first oh my god oh my god these guys are having way too much fun wow the prairie one so i get two kinds of meat ribs and a side dish oh my god [Music] so [Music] dad [Music] that guy wants your money you ready in there [Music] so that was a lot of fun oh no i'm filming myself because i'm so damn good looking [Laughter] and people get worried when you pull up your phone and start talking to yourself they think they're filming them anyways we're going to try it down here at the rib fest in the uh great time it's amazing i might have to come back next year anyways we're heading out [Music] you
