and Rob people from both parties entering this night with high expectations and hopes the stes very high and tonight many telling us this debate delivered a large group of Democrats gathering for a debate watch party at the IBEW Hall at 22nd in Martin Luther King Drive at times applauding booing even groaning it was a lively night and minutes ago some of those folks weighing in I think she did a great job of highlighting just the truth of who Donald Trump is and most importantly how dangerous he is I see this in her this energy and the same kind of energy is in this room right that we are going forward that that's old news she's uh again uh countering the lies that Donald Trump has told about the economy he is not telling the truth about what he did with our economy elsewhere the Chicago Republican party hosting a pair of debate Gatherings one of them on the near West Side a lot of energy in that room animated reactions and afterward strong opinions projecting strength he's showing America what we need the vice president has had a history of where we are now and the problems of the last four years and she can't run away from those uh and the president has addressed those issues you know I have to give Donald Trump uh credit he is a blunt instrument to to say that he came in there um and he really um just tried to hammer some of his position positions at those two Gatherings the parties building their organizations getting people signed up to volunteer and campaign capitalizing on the energy of this night watch Breaking News on YouTube subscribe to ABC7 Chicago Eyewitness News
