if you didn't like rings of power season 1 you should still give season 2 a Chance season 2 is getting much better reviews and after watching the first three episodes I can see why as someone who's read all of the books in extended lore I can confirm that this season is following token's texts much more closely I feel like last season they were focused a bit too much on characters and story lines that were created specifically for the show but in this season that is not the case anymore they're focusing on the right things sauron's deception in oron the political struggles of numor and the effects that the rings of power have on all of the different races in Middle Earth I was also skeptical about how the character of saon would be handled this season after being portrayed as a human in season 1 but now having seen how they explained this choice I can confidently say that he's now my favorite part of the show every time anatar comes on the screen I get excited and I think you will too so that's why I think
