come back with my comments I did not know IG live I've never been on IG live I've never turned IG live on so I don't know how it works and so um all of a sudden my other phone is going and people are calling me FaceTime that I've never talked to a day of my life on FaceTime and it didn't I'm like why are y'all calling me FaceTime and after a while Jamie uh uh Fritz who's been my longtime marketing guy he finally got through to me and he says uh Shannon you on IG live I'm like doing what you know like what am I on IG live for I ain't h no IG live button he says uh they can hear I like I'm like so now oo you know I say ask for patience he said they can hear and now I'm starting to get agitated again because you call me and say I'm on IG live when I know I didn't click myself on IG live and he say they can hear me I said hear me doing what said it sounds like you were having man my heart sank it dropped and obviously uh uh I run I run my accounts but Jordan being the good Samar the good soldier that he is Jordan the one that cut it off cuz hell I didn't even know it was on Jordan cut it off Jordan put the message up and then after I called my agent I called My AG uh the agency I before the show was starting the night cap he got all his commercials the bedding and all that stuff but it was real convenient that he had some type of bedroom supplement perfect timing not sure if he had that company and then they just decided to ramp up the promotion and advertising and he was promoting that before the show and during the show that's why people feel as though was this a clout move to promote that product I ain't going to lie again everything just seemed to work out perfect that you had that whole sponsorship ready and then that footage comes out hours before earlier that day so if you're Shannon sharp man be lucky you are who you are at the end of the day he worked hard to be here but we seen what happened with the Paul Pierce situation I've been seeing that narrative thrown out there from a lot of content creators when Paul Pierce went on live he did it himself he was chilling at the crib had ladies there they were drinking and doing all that good stuff nothing explicit but still it was just a good little party situation going on eventually he was fired so if Shannon sharp didn't have the level of clout that he had the viewership and all that he brings to any network I do believe that he would have probably been fired from that situation there was reports that he was hacked and he didn't know what was going on now it's reported that he wasn't hacked it looks like it was someone from his team that put out that statement so I don't know what's going on here again you don't really want to do a clout move like this especially when you got some situations going on like that behind the scenes in the bedroom you can clout so much but you can clout your way out of a job so it's good that Shannon shop has night cap has Club sha Shay so worst case scenario if he did lose his job at ESPN at least he has two shows to fall back on and probably other opportunities with brand deals sponsorships he may take a little hit if he were to get fired from esbn but he has a lot to fall back on as far as his business but I don't think he's going to get fired believe the EXA or producers or whoever called them let them know what was going on and again man up you got to be careful out there I don't know how you don't know you're on Instagram live I haven't been on live before so maybe I'm naive to this based off going live on other platforms you got to click off on a few things before you go on live from what I've been hearing so H man just let the team run the social media any social media where there's a live button or something to where if you click off you may had the phone in your pocket and who knows what may happen so a definitely had a slip up they were saying it may have been Michelle allegedly that set him up he's saying that that's not true also oo he was kind of joking on them they had a good little back and forth a good little play where oo was acting like he was disappointed and and we've seen in the previous episode of night cap that he was checking oo like you're late you got to to be on point we got to have a level of professionalism we got a lot of networks looking at us and it's going to be a bad look if you showing up late to the show you wouldn't do that with first sake as soon as he opened the car door he got out the car door to greet me the car door locked by accident the car door locked by accident so I would have been on time but the fact that we had to wait for the tow truck and them to bring the slim gem was the reason for my delay and getting to the hotel a little late but I'm here now I'm here now let ask you a question so when you go uh uh when you go to ESPN you go you take you have people pick you up from the airport yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah no you don't uh when you do inside the NFL you have people pick you up from the airport yeah at the beginning yeah no you don't uh so I'm just trying to figure out why with your show would you choose to take that route when you don't take that rout for ESP and NFL I wouldn't ly I'm I'm dead serious when I when I flying to Philly I have somebody pick me up from Philly when I fly to New York I have somebody pick me up from New studio they want a time slot they want like okay where you what time slot you want to be in and can we account on you being in that slot yes yes absolutely and so I want oo to take it serious I've conveyed this with oo oo I'm not telling breaking Earth you know interrupting your normally scheduled program PR programming because I just want oo to understand this is oo's show this is my show and I want him to take it as serious instead of like when he goes on first take be great on first take Inside the NFL be great on those but I want oo to understand we gonna only go as far as he and I can take this thing and the heights that I dream and I think what he's conveyed to me is that we're going to have to do this together but there has to be a level of professionalism there has to be a courtesy of being on time I respect his time and I want him to respect because there's a lot of people we started out it was just oo myself one person in the studio and Ash we got 11 people now we got editors we got graphics we got extra producers we got associate producers and so I know y'all took it and tried to run this is a conversation oo and I have had conversation off cameras oo have conveyed to me what he wants to accomplish with Night Cap all the while expanding his brand and doing first I wholeheartedly support that and you know when they when it came to me oo is great Inside the NFL he doing that he's doing an unbelievable job but I just know oo can and I think I I don't for me when I look at oo I see a guy that wants to do it but has never been in a situation where it was had to be like okay oo you can just do your thing oo you're so great I'm gonna make I'm gonna Force oo to be great he ain't got no choice he ain't gonna have no choice but to be great and when we because of the flight got delayed uh mechanical issues and so at that situation you know what I got a show tonight this is not a SAT this is not Friday I don't have anything to do uh I can take that route that I normally take call somebody have them pick me up but you know what I'm already cutting it close let me get a more a little more suitable sit situation to get to my workplace so I know you guys tried to blow it up try to make it something I'm trying to Big Time oo no I just want oo to be great and I think there's a level of professionalism and the kind of courtesy that comes along with being great because there are two kind of pains that you get you get the pain of discipline or you get the pain of regret and if things don't work out I can live with that but it will I will not be where he didn't know not sure if he was posting before the Instagram live happened and it is what it is man doesn't look like he's going to lose his job but again regardless he got a lot to fall back on with his own businesses and content creation so lesson learn uh good little way to humble yourself he said that even though he was joking around him and oo throughout the night he said he cried before he said he going to cry in the car again and again it's an embarrassing situation just because you know you want to remain behind the scenes like he's been pretty much his whole career in front
