Intro sideline sander here back again with another video today we're going to talk about the efl cup the carabao cup whatever you prefer to call it we're going to look at all the results gonna look at the draw for the fourth round and yeah just make sure to comment down below and give me your thoughts on the carabao Cup results and the draw and if you're new to the channel consider subscribing let's start with match one Aston Villa vs Everton Aston Villa versus Everton astonville lost at home um you know Everton took the lead in the 15th minute through James Garner Calvert Lewin doubled their advantage and then Kamara got a consolation goal in the 83rd minute it's a good win for Everton and Everett's inside that I think is trying to become more uh you know kind of they're trying to build something here at this point in the season you know there's a clear bottom three as of right now they're trying to get away from that relegation Zone obviously this isn't in the league but this is the type of result that they could really you know feel kind of you know Proud by and build off realistically and as for Villa you know they have aspirations of qualifying for Europa League again or you know God knows what really but for them this isn't necessarily the best of steps in a winning uh domestic cup would have been something that I would imagine Aston Villa fans would have really appreciated when I Emery would probably have enjoyed as well but a loss like this makes that a significantly harder task this season next is Blackburn vs Cardiff Blackburn Rovers versus Cardiff City 5-2 uh you know an absolute crazy game from the looks of it um you know you have five separate goal scorers for Blackburn um and Cardiff for them this is just gonna be one of those losses that they're gonna wish to remember Bournemouth vs Stoke especially since it was two two at halftime Bournemouth vs Stoke ended two nil Bournemouth goes through solanki and Rothwell got goals for Bournemouth uh Arsenal and Brentford uh Arsenal got a victory through a goal from Rhys Nelson in the eighth minute you know Brentford also you know a team Arsenal vs Brentford that there's a certain tier of football clubs that you would imagine that um to one extent or another a cup would mean significantly more to a Brentford compared to an Arsenal and that that's not necessarily to you know pick and point necessarily at the likes of bretford but it just kind of is to reinforce how big of a loss this is for somebody like brettford and a narrow loss to Arsenal you know that's gonna hurt a bit and might even kind of hurt some players confidence uh within the team but Chelsea vs Brighton some players that you would expect maybe get a bit more confident are Chelsea who got a one-no win at Stanford Bridge against Brighton Hove Albion uh Brighton you know they've had some slightly inconsistent games recently they would also you know have wanted to beat Chelsea here but with Chelsea getting this Victory hopefully from a Chelsea's Chelsea fans perspective if one was a Chelsea fan they'd look at this and be like okay we got something here um I think chilwell went off in the 90th minute with an injury so who knows what that means for their back line but good win for Chelsea All Things Considered Nicholas Jackson with the goal there as well uh Fulham Norwich 2-1 Fulham vs Norwich Elvis Morris and it will be with the goals in science for Norwich bullum being Norwich is fairly predictable um but you know from the looks of it you know this match was done and dusted from for a very long portion of it I didn't watch this of course um but you know good one for Fulham that I suppose Lincoln City lost to West Ham goal from success in the 70th minute and then Liverpool beat laser 3-1 uh gokbo well Liverpool vs Leeds laser took the lead and a 3-1 result isn't something that Liverpool necessarily is let's say you know this isn't new to Liverpool they've done this like four times this season already going down a goal you know a gold to nail uh at halftime and then coming back 3-1 at full time uh lacer City got a goal through mcateer uh nagakbo had a really solid shot assisted by Graven Birch subasly had an absolute screamer maybe the goal of this tournament period like it was just such a good strike and then drought had a really tidy um finish as well with uh back heel that made its way onto the post from a pass by Gerald Kwanzaa um so you know typical Liverpool result as a late I suppose lacer did apparently look solid at times uh but you know Newcastle vs Man City as things go very solid result for Liverpool and then finally the maybe biggest result of this whole kind of match day Newcastle United beating Man City one nil isoc got a goal um you know this is a very rotated City side as you could see um you know the likes of Oscar Bob playing Sergey Gomez Calvin Phillips Rico Lewis Ortega um you know it it it puts it puts into context why City lost this match I would assume because if city was starting saying Mathis Nunez or Boden or Diaz even or Walker Holland doku um ederson you know it could totally change the complexion of the match um Newcastle admittedly didn't play you know a full 11 either you know um like said levermento playing dumb it uh Lewis Miley uh Paul you know this these were two rotated sides and Newcastle got the win um pep was in typical fashion making kind of uh sarcastic comments about how they'll still win the treble even though they you know you know they'll settle for the treble now that they're out of the carball cup because you know now they can't get the quad but Draw Predictions here are the fixtures for the carabao cup round four draw I will give my predictions on all of them really quick and make sure to bottom and I'll work my way to the top uh I'm predicting a 2-1 Middlesbrough win I'm predicting a two one win for Burnley I'm predicting a West Ham versus Arsenal's tough predicting an Arsenal win three to one uh Chelsea will be Blackburn Rovers two to one Liverpool Bournemouth will finish 4-3 to Liverpool um Manchester United Newcastle will finish um say 2-1 Newcastle Ipswich Town phone will be two no Fulham and Mansfield Town Portville uh let's say Mansfield Town wins no let's say Portville wins sorry mental Town Portville wins one nil so those are my predictions make sure to comment
