- Hi Vogue! I'm Hunter Schafer. - Hi! I'm Tilman Singer … Oh! And we are swiping trends from our movie. Biking? I have no opinion on biking. - Oh, really?
- Yeah, I like biking. It's fine. - It's fine? - Yeah, some people love it. - Some people are really about bikes. - Yeah.
- Yeah, I guess I agree. I'm not like … - Yeah, you are good on a bike though. - Bikes! - Yeah.
- But bikes are nice. - Yeah, they ‘re fine. Maybe we leave it in the middle. We don't know. We don't need to hate on bikes. - No, I don't hate bikes. - No, bikes are good. - Bikes are good. Playing an instrument … I love it. I had to learn bass for this movie. I say “had to” like, I got three bass lessons for three months before starting to film
- Yes, you did learn it. - and it was really fun. It's a really fun instrument. - It’s one of my favorites.
- I feel like you didn’t have to try something more complicated. Well, not that bass isn't complex, but there's something really… - There's something super beautiful in the simplicity of it … in the simplicity …
… and you play single notes. … and it felt nice and not overwhelming, you know? - I have your bass at home now, like Gretchen's bass. - Oh, yeah.
- I play it all the time. - It’s so cool.
- It’s so cool. - Swipe right on playing instruments. - Oh yeah, we are swiping that way. Instruments are great.
- Great. I'm down for subverting the clothes if it works and if it makes you feel good and you want to wear a t-shirt as a dress or a skirt as a top, do your thing. And that's fabulous. - Do you think.
- Subvert at all. Horror films? Even when they're bad, they're good. - Debatable. - I’ve seen pretty, pretty bad ones. I had a phase in high school, when me and my friends used to watch the worst horror film we could find in a video store back when they existed. And we went by shitty cover of the DVD. - That’s what I’m saying: Even when it’s bad, it’s good. - Yeah. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Okay, you're right. - Very, very good. - Very good. - Swipe right. - Very good thing.
- Every time. - We love it.
- Yeah. Producing a film in Germany: I feel really lucky that I got to kind of have my immersion into the German culture with a big group of like new friends and family. And we all got very close very fast and to have these people introduce me, share currywurst, teach me German words. It was really familiar and sweet. - Go techno club. - Go techno club and other things. Yeah, this is cool. -Well, I only know that, and I have had really good experiences so far. So I'm doing this and I like his films, so I'm swiping right on that too. - On the films? - I like your movies. - Thank you.
- Yeah. - Do you want to answer that? -I mean, if we're talking about being in Berlin … - After parties after the movie, - Berlin is awesome for party and the dancing and the music. It's all really fab.
- We love it. But also; I had really good hotel kikis in the past few days. - We are like raging and then we also need a lot of time to be alone afterwards. - It's one or the other. But I'm all for the after party. I go there. We may have been there or we may not have been there. I don’t know. - No comment.
- No comment. - Ah, Berlin Film Festival! - You go there.
- Swipe right. - It’s fun. - We love it. We haven't swiped left on anything. - No, I would swipe left there, but there's a good thing coming with it. - Yeah, I mean they are kind of cool. I mean, there are inspiration. I had … I'm not going to tell you guys what I had, but leading up to the premiere one week before, they start.
- And that just sucks. - That sucks. - That sucks when that happened … and you wake up and you are like … … you know? No one likes that. - Did you ever woke up like this? - Like in a movie? Like … - Yeah!
- Oh, yeah? - Like you get stabbed in the dream and then you're like … - No way.
- You never had that? - No. - Do you know that feeling, when you kind of fall. - Yeah, that was kind of fun. - That one is fun. Yeah, I like that one. That doesn't qualify as a nightmare. But we hate nightmares. - We hate them.
- We would do that. - Swipe left. Vacation in the Alps. - I did it before. Did you do it? - I've never done that. How was it? - You have the Rockies. I guess that's kind of similar -ish. - I've never done that either. - You know, when you're at the beach, you sort of like, chill? -Yeah.
- When you are in the Alps, it's very dramatic. - It’s drama.
- It’s a lot of drama. - It's sounds fun. - Yeah.
- Swipe right. I never find myself getting souvenirs. But I love when an object that has something to do with where I'm at just comes into my life. - That’s good, yeah. - This souvenir has chosen to be my souvenir. But I'm never looking for a souvenir. - You want to find your own souvenirs. - Yeah, you want the souvenirs to find you. - Find your own souvenirs, don't buy them. -But souvenirs? - Yes. No? - Well, if they're your own, we can do that. But don't pay money. - Don't pay money. - Don’t pay money. - Thank you so much for watching. - Thanks. That's it. - Kiss.
- Bye, bye.
