About 4 to 7 ft in lower Jefferson parish that's out by Grand Isle and then elsewhere, anywhere from 3 to 6 ft of storm surge that does include the lakefront, especially on the north shore. This will all be out of here by tonight and by tomorrow. And I said it'll be out of here tonight. It'll all be gone by early tomorrow morning and then your Thursday afternoon looks quieter and then we've got some decent weather arriving as we head into the weekend with lower humidity and temperatures in the eighties. It's 452. If you're just waking up, maybe you're trying to get around and do some last minute things, Angie's been keeping an eye on the morning drive for you. How's things looking out there? People up, Angie not seeing too many cars out there, especially during this early part of the morning. And a lot of people heeding the advice to stay home and hunker down, but right now we're watching the roads as we watch the effects of hurricane Francine bottom line. If you don't have to be out there, stay home, stay safe. But if you're again, if you're heading out there maybe last minute supplies or if you're deciding maybe to leave the area. We're not seeing any closures across the board region wide. All your interstate systems are open outbound. If you're maybe needing to travel I 55 or I 10, maybe part to west or east. Again, we're not seeing any problems on the interstate systems dot D though has some reminders for you, uh, especially later on today. You know, the overall advice is stay home, stay safe, stay weather aware. But if you have to be out there for any reason, again, a few dot D, uh, safety tips on the roadways, avoid puddling any type of, um, puddling on the road, standing water. Uh The over thought overall thought with that is, uh, turn around and don't drown. Now, if you're on the interstate hydroplaning is possible. So allowed space between vehicles, make sure you have working, uh, windshield wipers, headlights, taillights, all very important. Um Also give yourself some extra time to get to your destination, slow down on the roads. But again, if you don't have to be out there, stay home and stay safe. Now, south of the area, many coastal areas outside of the levee protection system have a mandatory evacuation. So that includes Gran is Lafitte, Barre area and Lafoe Parish. Also, tolls have been weighed on the L A one bridge between Lee and Grand Isle in the New Orleans area. Neutral ground parking is allowed until 6 p.m. Thursday. So definitely keep that in mind. Maybe, you know, if you wanna put your car out there just for a little extra safety, you are able to do that again until Thursday 6 p.m. Now across the area, checking your bridges, we have no advisories or restrictions on the causeway at this time. A good flow across the span if you're headed to the south shore or north shore and again across the metro area, just a few cars not seeing any problems on the interstate. If you have to leave right now, uh, this would be a great time to do it again, free and clear on all the interstates into and out of the area. Same if you're traveling on your bridges, not seeing any problems. Uh If you're headed on the West Bank, a lot of people like to take 90 is an alternate route sometimes. But again, West Bank free and clear there, not seeing any problems on your bridges. Uh Mississippi River bridges. Now, if you're, uh, maybe leaving heading parts West Spillway bridge at posted speed airline, not seeing any problems. And then people take that to the airport again if you're, uh, looking at alternate routes just to avoid interstate for any reason, problem for you at this point. And from Saint Charles Parish, Luling bridge is moving, well, not seeing any problems there. It's a 10 minute drive to the I 10 and looking at 10 minutes to the spillway So overall, just stay safe today if you have to be on the roads. But, uh, just keep the advice of dot D and overall just, uh, be careful today. This is a severe weather alert from Wwl weather sponsored by Egan Insurance Agency. All right, time now is 455. Thank you so much. If you've been joining us all morning long, maybe from the evening into the morning, whatever the case may be happy to have you this morning as we continue to track all things, Hurricane Francine and we just heard from Angie there with the traffic updates. So we're keeping an eye on the roadways as well. I know many of you may be headed out this morning. Those last minute items, we got that four o'clock 4 a.m. update from meteorologist Peyton Malone saying that they're still looking at landfall in the ST Mary Parish area from that 5 to 7 p.m. window. So we're keeping a close eye on that as it narrows down a bit. But that's giving up, you know, people a little bit more of a window this morning to be able to get any of those necessities or handle anything that you need to do. So, as we're looking at the roadways, things seem pretty good. But hey, if you don't need to be out and about, I know you've heard it, I'll just reiterate it. It's my job. Just stay home and stay safe, you know, stay in with your family. Of course, something on the top of all of our minds. As yesterday, the recommendation was get.
