talented performers period of any of all time of any time Beyonce Jazelle NOS Carter so that's a middle name Jazelle did you know that yes Beyonce Jazelle NOS Carter 40 Man Beyonce 43 today y'all getting old so happy birthday Queen be Beyonce uh comedian my man Damon wayin 64 today so it was a movie back in the day called [ __ ] High it was shot in Chicago based on a it was a there was a real [ __ ] High at one time way back in the day they made this movie way back in the 70s shot it in Chicago it was a great movie it was a cult classic in our culture and in our community and the brother who was like one the lead character he was a basketball star and he uh just tragic ending I mean people were crying some people still watch [ __ ] High and still cry at the end even though they know what's about to happen and then he went on to do some TV shows uh let me see what's it welcome back Carter he was in the movie Claudine these like movies in the 70s the TV show Roots my man Lawrence Hilton Jacobs is 71 today happy birthday to you speaking of uh TV actresses she was a TV star and she did movies she was in the movie What's Love Got to Do With It Angela Basset with her Peerless per performance of Tina Turner even Tina Turner was like wow you you played me like it was amazing so the sister was in What's Love Got to Do With It she was in a movie called Sugar Hill she was on a TV show back in the dayer and news news radio and way back in the late 80s so Whitney Houston was touring like her first big world tour from 1988 to 199 92 this sister who was went on to be an actress she was the choreographer for the Whitney Houston World Tour a sister named Candy Alexander you've seen her like I said if you were fan of ER or news radio you might or you might remember her character from West Love Got to Do With It Candy Alexander is 67 so happy birthday to Beyonce and Damon Willam and Lawrence Hilton Jacobs and uh Candy Alexander all right now so I I just I I need to go here uh and shift gears and because it just it kind of triggered something that happened back in my birthplace Chicago even though it was entire entirely different but the senselessness of gun violence so today you may you may have heard may not have heard there was another uh mass shooting uh in a high school in High School in in Georgia really just outside so you have four people two students two teachers that were killed outside of a high school about 40 miles outside of Atlanta Atlanta Georgia that is uh the killer alleged killer the killer uh was a teenager now then I think about about a week or so ago in Chicago and it we because I was just there for the Democratic National Convention and um I actually took public transportation I wasn't on it at 5:20 5:30 in the morning which it doesn't matter because it what happened to these people really could have happened at any time uh and I've taken this this train before so public transit uh Chicago's at a huge public transportation system with the CTA Chicago Transit Authority so there's uh there's a line called the Blue Line that'll take you from ohir uh just a note for those who are watching if you now if you live in Chicago if you grew up in Chicago if you travel a lot and if you had to fly into or through Chicago uh you know at all cost if you can avoid O'Hare Airport flying the Midway but if you can avoid O'Hare avoid oare airport um but anyway so the Blue Line takes you from O'Hare Airport downtown and it connects you to like other public transportation and then it goes on the west side of Chicago so on the opposite end of the Blue Line in Forest Park which is a suburb of Chicago for there was some demonic Spirit some this evil just Sinister I I can't think of any other way to uh describe this person shot and he killed four people execution style in their sleep people who were probably just tired it maybe worked all night or were tired you know and maybe trying to go to work in the morning and fell asleep on the train and he shot execution style he he shot three of them point blank in the in the head and the other person in the stomach and they died uh that was last week in Chicago and today you know we've got another high school a school shooting four people killed so listen let me just say this because apparently the uh the murders today this teenager had like this assault style AR-15 style weapon why do we need those I'm just saying now I know there are people who I know people who are very close to me who don't agree it's okay I just don't do we really need for all the and for all you white nationalists when know with all with all these guns that you know you stockpiling and storing up because you're getting ready for the race war stop it just stop it because other people got guns but the point is nobody's going to win and if for those uh who are preparing for the race war and then the government the government the government because they're coming whatever weapons that you own even if you were in the military whatever weapons that you think that you own that you can fight the government with trust me and if you were in the military you should know this they got weapons that you don't even know about so whatever how many ever guns you got I'm just going to tell you what uh one of my relatives uh Master Sergeant uh retired Master Sergeant in the Marines shout out to to Roy GR Sunny that's what we call him he was like cuz the United States military will never because I asked them about you know what would have happened you know January 6 2021 when the white nationalist stor the capital what if they would have literally like physically and violently taken over the US capital he's like cuz you're near something called a place called the uh a division called the 82nd Airborne which is I believe he said in North Carolina somewhere in that area I'm here in Charleston South Carolina he said they for their sake God God hoped for their sake that they would have gotten out of that capital for the 82nd Airborne Airborne Division would have gotten up to the nation's capital and the US capital so the bottom line is you know the unit the United States military will never never be outgunned so you can't buy enough guns so at some point really you know you have a second Amendment right but you know with rights comes responsibilities and consequences I just it it just and these school shootings and it's just people not securing their weapons I mean it's so much mental health I I could go on and I'm not going to so my entire monologue is not going to be on that it's just you would think and I get it a lot of the politicians especially the magac call politicians are really and some Democrats getting paid have been getting paid by the gun manufacturers but I'mma throw this out there and listen it's not an original thought I know it's it's it's been you know somebody has Pro throwing it out there but the one thing about the gun manufacturer the gun manufacturers that I just and I don't despise you being in business you got a right and people you know they buy they buy guns to hunt and they they buy guns for protection I I get all that miss me with all that I get all that but you know what it's too damn easy we talked about Chicago you just can't walk around with a gun in Chicago it's not like South Carolina where you can like openly carry a weapon and anybody 18 could just buy like an assault weapon no you can't do that in Illinois but how do many how do so many guns want up in illegal stolen guns because the states around Illinois Indiana specifically Missouri to the South Iowa to the West very LAX gun laws and a lot of those illegal weapons especially because Chicago the east side of Chicago and the northwest corner of Indiana literally you can walk across the street like Avenue or or Avenue Avenue or whatever it is east side of Chicago literally you can walk across the street from Chicago and you cross the street you're in Indiana literally state of Indiana so that's been a problem for years but I to the gun manufacturers okay sell as many guns as you want but be careful who you sell them to and who your your your retailers send them to allow here's my take allow victims of gun violence to sue the gun makers oh I bet some stuff would change real quick then and you want to own a 100 guns but you got insure them just like you have to get insurance for your house or your car yeah you got to get insurance and they got to have better background checks I just and a lot of it is just it it's it's a human condition a lot of it is a lack of humanity empathy compassion and there's a there's a significant portion I know this this mental health we got a lot of sick people mentally a lot of hurt people and you've heard the saying hurt people hurt other people yeah that's true evil then you throwing racism and homophobia and sexism and mogy and just the demonic spirits walking around it's a lot but you know the way to get people's attention if you start digging in their pockets especially these gun Manu ufacturers gun makers and know some folks probably watching the show don't agree think I'm you know crazy think what you want but I know one thing when you start digging in people's pockets excuse me when you start digging in people's pockets you get the attention and they they start doing things differently and then they make sure that people around them or that work with them or for them start doing stuff differently if they are afraid of being held Lively financially you can go after their wealth and their property and their business and their bank account they'll start doing stuff differently but at the end of the day it it shouldn't be up to them it should be up to us as as humans but that's a whole that's a whole another story but I just I couldn't look this is not a news show it's the entertainment show but that's just my commentary uh prayers to the family of the two teachers teachers the most underpaid the most underpaid people on the planet teachers who spend more time with your children my my youngest daughter just graduated from college teachers spend more time with our children than we do in a lot of cases the most the uh the most important years of a child's life at least half of that time if not more at least half of that time is spent with a teacher look I I love LeBron and Steph Curry step what he got this 60 million a year LeBron 50 something million my man Jaylen Brown sign like what $300 million contract or his teammate signed one that's that's the way they need to pay teachers like they pay athletes and folks like y'all pay Tom Cruz and Will Smith what is they probably getting what 30 40 million a year whatever it is that's that's the way you all need to pay teachers teachers need to make that kind of money they really do well how we we couldn't afford it yeah you no you can do what you want to do if you wanted to do it absolutely positively you get billionaires tax breaks uh speaking of tax breaks I'm G to talk about something shout out to vice president comma Harris All right so but praise God to the family of of the teachers the two teachers and the two students that were killed in the high school just about 40 miles just outside of uh Georgia just outside of Atlanta in Georgia that happened today unfortunately so shout out to the NAACP they are calling for the University of South Carolina the Gamecock that's the name of the mascot and the lady Gamecock that's coach dor Staley uh lady Gamecocks national champions of women's college basketball last season they got another season coming up huge fan of Coach Staley so the NAACP they are calling for the University of South Carolina to cancel so some student organiz student organization is putting on a roast of Vice President kamla Harris now this event features as the masters of this roast a dude named Gavin McInnis he uh he was the uh founder of The Proud boys need I say anymore the proud boys the group of white nationalists that stormed the capito and this guy named Milo yopos I think that's the way I'm pronouncing his name but it's close to it yannopoulos uh just openly just Google my my Milo yopos even if you spell it wrong just get close to yannopoulos with a y i a n n o p o u l oos anyway uh races sexist misogynistic homophobic transphobic xenophobic dude uh it's really to find them so you can just Google that D Milo yannopoulos so open races and misogynist full stop say some really racist and sexist and misogynistic uh things homophobic transphobic these are the masters of the roast so the NAACP along with other people are are calling for the University of South Carolina who whose football team is majority African-Americans whose basketball team is virtually all black women including the head coach coach Dawn Staley who could be in the WBA as a head coach hell the truth is could be and almost damn near became a head coach in the NBA up in Portland so to the president a guy named Michael uh emerus em amerus a m i r i d i s amerus I think that's the way I well I haven't heard it pronounced but that's what it looks like Michael or a amadis okay be Michael amadas or I believe amader a amadas whatever uh Mr uh amadas Mr amadis President University of South Carolina do you value do you respect do we do you even care about all of your black students I'm not just talking about the athletes playing a football team or they a basketball team but all of them really and you know these dudes yeah they got a right you have a right to free speech but have you done a a background Gavin mcginness Milo yannopoulos they've done other events and they brought the the racist the violent racist white nationalist element to events that they have hosted been a part of do do you really want want to bring that element on your campus and knowing these these guys are like openly avowed racist and misogynist and sexist you can do that Google search somebody in your office your assistant somebody should have did that Google search maybe the head of whatever student organization but does does it does that say a lot about them but son you need to to think about so you really need to cancel that and if you don't that really says a lot and it should say something to all the black athletes to all the all the students all the black students and not just the black students it should say something to the white students and Hispanic students it's not on that racist sexist misogynistic white nationalist [ __ ] this is what your president he allowed it in sports there's a term since I was just talking about football either if when things things that go good or bad talking about like the culture of a team that means just that you know the makeup of a team you know the the the the almost like the character the not just the physical part but the mental and the spiritual part the makeup of a team as the saying it goes it's either being coached or condoned by the coach so if you allow as a president University of South Carolina President Michael amadas because I believe it's amadas if you either you condoning it so are you coaching it so are are you you coaching this organization but if even if you're not you you say of course I wouldn't but you condone it you might as well be you're doing the same thing and I would just if I if I had a son or daughter uh playing going to school there especially playing sports really this is what your president thinks of you even if I didn't if I just had a son or daughter going to school there this is what this dude thinks of you really and I'm paying money even if you got a SC schip it's like all money ain't good money really when you know this is what the president that means he's not really going to protect your students I mean your sons or your daughters or your nieces or nephews or your grandchildren if he allows this organization and miss me with the FR First Amendment Free Speech Free Speech comes with consequences it comes with consequences repercussions and responsibility so if you allow a a dudes who whose history whose simple Google search talks about their racism and misogyny and sexism and homophobia and xenophobia bring violence that they've been just the proud the leader of the proud boy storm the US capital say less say less right there and if you all do this coach D Staley I wish I hope that there's an NBA team right right now that is willing to minimum because I think I think coach Staley is getting like somewhere over $2 million a year which is great uh she should be the highest paid coach on the dam University because I think the football coach getes more and the football team ain't won Jack he ain't won no National Championship since what I think what 1980 coach Staley has won three in like a the last in in a decade come on man so coaley and I'm rooting for I am rooting for you I love watching your team play and I love everything about you but and then you probably know more about the president than I do cuz he's your boss but this is not a good look and if he allows these white nationalists to come on there and come up there and and do this roast of another black woman that's sending a signal to me as far as I'm concerned so I hope there's there's an NBA team because I don't know if there's a WNBA franchise I maybe the Las Vegas Aces because they got your former player and Becky Hammond they they they ain't really playing right so uh Asia Wilson I know she would love to have her former head coach in college be her head coach cuz man uh Dawn Staley coaching the Las Vegas es of the WNBA the women's NBA oh it' be on it popping I I I hope that there's a WNBA team but definitely I know NBA teams ain't got no excuse and there an NBA teams that need need a good I think D Staley will make a great coach I mean that a great coach in the NBA that's how much respect I have for Coach Dawn Staley and how much love I have for her so shout out to coach Staley somebody screen grab this and send it to coach sty it's no she is going to vote for kamla Harris whoa whoa and Liz Cheney and vice president KLA Harris if you talk about their policies are like that but they believe in democracy and Liz Cheney is like look I'm sure she's like I don't I I don't agree with any probably any policy that vice president KLA Harris is going to you know tryy to implement as president but I know she believes in democracy and
