welcome back you guys middle of July about what per was like you play in New York and you find out find that you're going to Chicago you got it oh yeah um I mean I just found out after the game um I was already going home the next day so it kind of made the transition easy um went home saw my family worked out and then packed up my car and shipped it to Chicago so yeah same right yeah we went together we liveed together no I went to Minnesota what has it been like for you guys midseason making the transition trying to settle in on a team that is very different from the Sun yeah um I mean I think it really helped that we had that Olympic break to like try to kind of get the Kinks out and like figure each other out um so that was really helpful if it was just like in the middle of like a season and we had a game that would have been probably a lot harder so it was easy to like get moved in get adjusted meet everybody and and kind of figure out the system so that was really helpful having that that was like two weeks what's it been like just having your other most most one person other that process yeah it's been great I mean Ra was one of the best teammates I ever had so she always brings like the best energy um wherever we go also it helps that I played with a lot of the guys on the team so everybody's been great welcoming all been um it's been it's been good so far yeah I told all like I like was so grateful that she was part of this like it made such a difference for me like she's been such a vital part of my like career because we've played together a few times and we've always kept up with each other when we haven't so she knows me really really well and she's helped me like deal with kind of like the anxiety pieces of it and and just figuring out a new home so it's been incredible to have her it's my little baby I think I'm older than you I know but you feel coming from a that's so veteran to you guys are now the the leader or the you know the ones with seniority what has the role kind of looked like in Chicago adjusting to that I think it's been the same for us honestly like we always kind of carry ourselves as a vets um but obviously yeah we have a younger group so it's a little bit even more communication a little bit more teaching I think we're putting our two cents in whenever we like see fit and like they're really responsive to it it's been like really nice like they really respect what we have to say and you know they know that we're vets but don't have anything else she said yeah how are you feeling able to play again get some more you feel good I'm happy to be back um it's never easy having surgery let alone two surgeries um in one year but the staff has been great with me um allowing me to kind of take my time with it it's been really good I don't have any complaints all right we'll go to Jordan on Zoom real quick Jordan please unmute hey ladies how are y'all doing today how are you I'm all right so the first one's kind of off the question just talk about what's been some places y'all visited in Chicago so far oh we went to what was that the rooftop place we went to eat I know I don't know v v v rooftop it was nice the food was good nice views um other than that we haven't really gotten a chance to get out too much the schedule's been kind of hectic but that was that was cool yeah oh and uh steak 48 and I've gone shopping a couple times and my second question sorry and my second question is now that you've had some time to settle in and practice with everyone just talk about how comfortable you both are feeling with your new teammates and the new coach well the coaching I think we're pretty comfortable I mean we're both like pretty easygoing and kind of just can fit in with a tree or anybody so like I don't know it's been pretty smooth yeah honestly just kind of felt natural coming right in um obviously being guard positions you have to really understand the entire offense but I think we picked it up pretty fast um it's it's been good a smooth transition thank you and one more question from Mariah I think you answered it already but that's want to ask how are you feeling I know you've been dealing with that ankle injury so how are you feeling physically yeah I'm good I'm happy to just be able to play again to be back on the court um again the staff is doing a great job of taking care of me so it's just about day one day at a time for me thank you thank you thank you thank you all good okay I was talking to Nay earlier she said you've been kept in touch of her since you guys have left and Texas Direct the Atlanta game and everything I me just what has that relationship been like and how we kind of maintained it since the trade yeah it's been great I mean that's my girl she's awesome I've kept up with like a good amount of the girls on the team of course but nay's my dog like we got close really really fast and um yeah I just love her she's such good energy and she's just a good vibe and she's someone I want in my life like forever so it's been fun keeping up with her and like kind of talking a little bit of Hoops but also just talk life and being goofy so it's been
