NC State Grayson Mccall || Sloppy but gets win over Western Carolina. Can they hang with Tennessee??

right guys so NC State NC State tonight got got to watch a bunch of this game Grayson McCall very uneven incredibly incredibly sloppy game from uh North Carolina state to start the year fumbling the ball uh almost a pick six by Grayson McCall allowing a lot of quarterback run game from uh Western Carolina 32p point spread in this game Western Carolina up by four late up by four heading into the fourth quarter but then Grayson McCall puts together some drives KY conception what a player he is and the reason to get kind of excited about this I I love this offense that finally NC state has um last year I'm trying to even remember their quarterbacks maybe they had like Dylan Morris I remember I think that they had a lot of quarterback injury but Grayson McCall's an absolute gamer you know he runs the ball sometimes you want to see him slide um pretty accurate thrower doesn't have the biggest arm doesn't have a really big arm at all but um he could be accurate he's mobile um rolling right he found the tight end like kind of on a Scramble Play which was you know sensation really good play very good improviser Grayson McCall and gives his receivers a chance um at times could show a little bit of arm strength getting it to the outside of the numbers really good college quarter back like I don't think he's going to be a pro quarterback but he he could be a really damn good college quarterback and I was excited to see Hollywood Smothers I love the running back room there I love getting Hollywood Smothers I think that they I'm trying to think Hollywood Smothers was like an Arkansas or he I think he was recruited elsewhere but he's he's in the two deep there Noah Rogers is a five-star that they featured a little bit in the game and I didn't see him late so I'm hoping he's okay I hope it wasn't an injury but Casey conception as a sophomore is an absolute Superstar I mean he's very elastic in the way that he can break tackles um incredibly Lightning Fast um and strong like like he he doesn't go down and has great change of Direction and and the offense is explosive it's fun this offense really looked fun but it also at times like Western Carolina was also forcing turnovers the defense looked leaky on the back end and the front for NC State like stopped the run and finally woke up but still like they have like 10 days to prepare and Tennessee's caliber of athlete like I'm really scared about that game like that number could be like a 14-point number if they get to Grayson McCall cuz Grayson McCall was throwing lollipops in the first half if he doesn't place a strong game Tennessee could blow the doors off of VC State like I'm very scared Co took care Carolina's quarterback ended up going crazy and I'm not sure I don't think that NC State can really run the ball against Tennessee so what's it going to take to beat like this this Tennessee team Nico I don't really see a path to victory at all for North Carolina State I mean they're going to need conception they're going to need Noah Rogers you're going to need Hollywood SM you're going to need the offense to really pull the weight and then you're going to need somehow the defensive line like they have guys in the middle that are pretty good but you're going to have to get a pass rush on um niik yam you're going to need a pass rush to win the game and let's see if in the second half NC State let's see if it's competitive or do they get the doors blown off of them the good news is that the ACC has come out looking terrible I mean at Wake Forest looked terrible tonight they were losing to at to North Carolina AT&T they were they were losing the &t tonight um and and also North Carolina's quarterback got injured so you know then you're talking Manny Diaz I mean this this ACC is is is completely wide open I mean I don't think that Clemson is that much more talented than you when you finally have a quarterback you have tremendous Weaponry it's just Tennessee is elite elite I don't like it Tennessee can absolutely light you up like I remember Tennessee with henden hooker they went down the LSU couple years ago they were up like 40 to zero like like Tennessee that offense when it gets going like Virginia played Tennessee last year it was like 52 to10 like Josh hpo will end you and I'm not liking that I think that spread's going to be 16 I think it's going to be a huge spread and I'm really scared about that game but for NC State the schedule's tough tonight you were able to win a game McCall was able to be solid late to get hot late and the guy wins I mean a total winner at at um Coastal Carolina with Chadwell shows a lot of emotion again you were able to make plays at the end of the game and win it by 17 and kind of really finished strong so it's not a game you're going to think about again even though you threw a near pick six even though you were fumbling the ball even though the defense was leaky as all get out like it was a very sloppy sloppy performance like if you're Dave Doran if you're Dave D you can't be happy I mean these guys have to really improve before Tennessee but it's a type of win unlike Minnesota who just choked and lost the game it's at least a win that you could say okay we played on Thursday we get some time now the rest it's a win that we can reassess and we can roll but great Weaponry like actually a fun NC State team with Mcall with conception um with the new freshman running back a whole pleora of guys of dudes on this team and and you're going to watch Penn State like I just watched um I just watched Minnesota's receivers they would kill I'm I'm a guy who roots for Minnesota football a lot Minnesota would kill to have NC State's Weaponry NC State's doing a great job of hitting the portal of getting Talent at running back getting Talent at wide receiver man this this receiving core you have Noah Rogers conception you do have an older Grayson McCall um you get in like a good fr pay for a good freshman quarterback concept I mean this is a foundation of a really explosive offense that that's that's what won you the game tonight is those explosive runs and explosive plays cuz you played far from perfect but when you have explosive football you can play like dog crap for large portions of the game and then be able to Surge late and find yourself winning games where you played horribly so that's that was it pretty not at all pretty disappointing um the Tennessee game will learn just about everything maybe NC State will put forth a good effort the defense if the defense shows up it'll be exciting to Tennessee and the defense has to find a way to show up H boy am I worried though because I if if Western's walking it down the field Tennessee then the athletes on the edge the offensive line tonight I just don't know I'm just worried about that game man but uh NC State gets a win
