‘1000 Lb Sisters’ Star Amy Slaton Arrested for Drug Possession at Zoo

TLC star Amy Slayton was arrested in Tennessee  on September 2nd. The arrest took place in   Crockett County after authorities responded to  a call about a guest being bitten by a camel   at a local safari park. Upon arrival, deputies  noticed a strong odor coming from Amy’s vehicle,   leading to her arrest for drug  possession and child endangerment. Amy faces charges for having illegal drugs and  putting her children at risk. Alongside her,   Brian Scott Lavorn was also arrested and both are  now in Crockett County Jail. It's important to   remember that these charges are accusations and  Amy is considered innocent until proven guilty. Amy, who is known for her role on TLC’s  "1,000 lb Sisters," has two children with   her ex-husband Michael Halterman.  The couple divorced in March 2023,   and since then, Amy has been open about  her personal life, including her past   relationships. Her ongoing reality show documents  her and her sister Tammy’s weight loss journey.
