coming off a big comeback win on week one against the Tennessee Titans the Chicago Bears are going to have their work cut out for them in week two as the Bears play the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football Caleb Williams versus CJ stra two top defenses going at it and hopefully a better showing by our offensive line hello everyone and welcome back to this episode of just another year Chicago Bears my name is Nick Brody and as always thank you for tuning in Texans barely beat the Colts in week one 29 to 27 on the road in Indianapolis a Colts team that many think the Bears will beat very easily so maybe the Texans aren't who we thought they were this upcoming year today I am breaking down the news ahead of the Bears versus Texans game this Sunday night including the injury report as of right now current roster moves as summon happened updates what to expect from the Texans and score predictions for this upcoming Sunday's game and before I get more into today's game if you're team injury report not a good one from the overall Chicago Bears standpoint a little bit stressful actually as we we start off with Rome adun an addition that a lot of people didn't expect to see nor notice during Sunday's game Rome was involved in an incident where he got rolled up behind veis Jones Jr and a Titans Defender and it looked like he popped his knee it is a knee injury and Matt ubo confirmed that there is an MRI going on currently to check on Rome to see how he was doing and what the severity of the injury is this is serious and I don't want anyone to go oh he's Kevin White 2.0 he's not not fault he's done everything he can to stay healthy it was a nasty hit and it would have happened to anybody so Good Vibes only over towards Rome sending thoughts and prayers to him for a speedy recovery and that it's nothing too serious then in the middle Keenan Allen who left Sunday's game with what apparently is a hamstring injury he get back on the field later in the game but obviously that's a lingering one been monitoring the situation we find out more later today about it but something to keep in mind for Keenan and Allen as it is Ser as he was one of the bigger Targets this past Sunday for Cale Williams and then Nate Davis who was in and out of Sunday's game as well apparently has a leg injury he was in and out of the tent twice during the first half did finish the game though so maybe it's not too serious but something to keep in mind and Matt IUS does have a roster move from the Right Guard perspective coming up here so make sure you stay tuned for that but overall just not your ideal injury report as you can tell Rome really worries me same with Keenan all Nate Davis sure he he actually didn't do that bad when he was playing in the game scored an 81 overall great according to PFF but still in and out inconsistent hope this guy can stay healthy but we need an offensive line out there because clearly there needs to be a lot of help going over to the Texans side of things though safety MJ Stewart is out with a 2B determined injury they did not announce what it was but he is ruled out for this upcoming Sunday's game at the moment according the ESPN so a key Texan Defender out this upcoming Sunday something to keep in mind and we'll keep updating you guys throughout the week on the overall injury status of the rest of the team going into the roster moves that I started to hit on for the Chicago Bears is that Matt eus announced on Monday during the press conference that there is a competition for starting Right Guard between Ryan Bates and Nate Davis he sounds absolutely checked out on Nate Davis tired of everything that's been going on he wants this guy to obviously do well and we do too and I hope everything is okay with Nate Davis but he wants consistency out there and Ryan Bates was in and out of playing he got blown up on one play but overall he did a pretty good job for the Chicago Bears this past Sunday against the Titans especially against a tough uh defensive line in Tennessee so something to keep an eye on as we might have a different starting Right Guard this upcoming Sunday against the Texans from a kick return perspective now looking at the depth chart on the bears.com it looks like veis Jones has been relieved of his kick return duties and he will not be the kick returner anymore DeAndre Carter will be after that impressive 66 yard return he absolutely looks like the perfect special team that we needed shout out to Ryan P for bringing him in but that is a big roster move right there that did happen early for the Chicago Bears is that there's a competition at Right Guard and veis Jones Jr is out of his position now another thing from a roster position standpoint is that with Rome it sounds like we might be calling up wide receiver uh Colin Johnson the guy who had the huge Hall of Fame game earlier this preseason the 66 wide receiver is a solid red zone Target big body to reach over defenders and good at blocking downfield something that keep an eye on as the Bears will be busy this upcoming week if Rome ends up being out for a significant amount of time and before I get more into the upcoming Sunday so the Houston Texans one of the upand cominging teams in the NFL led by CJ Strode a very talented quarterback he was able to move the ball around very well against the Indianapolis Colts a rest along with the rest of the offense not only that they have a very solid defense as well to keep in consideration it's going to make you think the Titans were a tough matchup the Texans are going to be even tougher going through this past Sunday's day for the Houston Texans they had some key players on the offensive side of the ball CJ stro obviously 234 yards two touchdown passes a good day to start the season wish that kale Williams would had those stats but he's going to have it against the Texans don't worry about that Nico Collins one of their better wide receivers huge day six receptions for 17 yards and Joe Mixon newly required running back from the Cincinnati Bengals had 30 Carri for 158 yard and a rushing touchdown this past Sunday so high powerered offense with weapons all over the place but this Bears defense can definitely obtain them only 244 yards allowed against the Tennessee Titans 104 of them being passing 140 rushing so Joe Mixon is going to be a huge Factor as rushing was the weakness of this Bears defense but the Bears defense only allowed 16 first downs three for 14 on third down only averag four yards per offensive play for the Titans three sacks in three total turnovers by this defense so the Texans are not walking into a cakewalk by any means they are going to have a very tough matchup against the Chicago Bears defense so I'm not too worried about it at the moment and also with the injury report likely to come out more throughout the week we'll see who ended up getting impacted from the Texans side of the ball you go to the defensive side of things though for this Houston team well they're pretty tough upfront in our offensive line did not have a good showing this past week danial Hunter former Minnesota Viking who we know all too well is now part of the Houston Texans he went back home to probably finish his NFL career but doesn't mean he's slowing down he had one of his best seasons ever in the NFL last year and he's a double digit sack guy every single year multiple tackles for loss in over 30 quarterback pressures over the last couple of years then you have Will Anderson Jr one of the best defensive rookies in the League last year on the other side of him so Bron Jones and Darnell Wright are going to have their work cut out for them on the edges perspective but up the middle same issues there Mario Edwards Jr who just joined this Texans Squad is definitely going to be someone that you got to look out for and be able to protect and with Coleman Shelton how he did last week Mario Edwards Jr could have a field day so something to keep in mind for this upcoming matchup against the Houston Texans I think that they're going to be a very tough team but I think the Bears are a tough team as well our defense is locked in guys Super Bowl contenders potentially really like what they've been putting on the table and if they can uptain this Houston Texans offense could be another shoot out just like it was against the Tennessee Titans so my score prediction for this upcoming Sunday's game you guys know I'm positive vibes only if you guys were in the live chat that's the motto for the rest of the because it's going to be a true matchup for the Chicago Bears team especially the defensive side of things and if we could pull out a win in Houston which I truly think On Any Given Sunday it's possible the Bears will be two and 0 after this entry in Indianapolis and that game looks like a lot more of a cakewalk than the Houston Texans at the moment so it's going to be a lot of fun you get to see some of the League's best young talented people on both sides of the ball battling it out and duking it out it's going to be a lot of fun this upcoming Sunday night and I also again I hope to
