in a recent interview the creator of The Lord of the Rings the rings of power uh revealed that the show's second season will be released weekly on Amazon Prime and video this means that instead of releasing all Eight Episodes at once like Netflix the series will be released one episode per week for the next five weeks the first three episodes were released on August 29th and there are only five more episodes left to air for the season the creator also revealed that the season's Premiere is slightly different from the first season with an additional scene and change in the release strategy
