so one of the questions I get asked the most is when will Apple release the official final version of iOS 18 to the general public now in this video I wanted to do my best to predict exactly when you can expect Apple to release iOS 18 to everyone worldwide and now in order to understand when Apple should release this new update I guess we can go backwards a few years and that way I guess we can have a better prediction based on previous release schedule now right now iOS 18 is sitting in beta 3 every two weeks Apple releases a new beta but at some point Apple will be switching to a weekly release schedule right now it is July 23rd 2024 so the next iOS 18 developer beta 4 could be released any day now alongside the second public beta but let's talk about the official release date because as I mentioned Apple at some point will be switching to a weekly release schedule for Betas and then obviously the official release date now as I mentioned if we go backwards a few years with iOS 15 16 and 17 I guess we can accurately predict that Apple will release iOS 18 in September now that's the month but when will be the day well if we talk about the release date itself again we have to go backwards a few years so let's go backwards one year let's go to 2023 so the year 2023 Apple released iOS 17 in September mber so let's jump into September 2023 right there it is now September 20223 Apple released iOS 17 on the 18th right there so on Monday September the 18th which is the third Monday of September so just keep that one in mind September 18th the 3D Monday of September now let's go backwards another year so let's go back into the year 2022 so in the year 2022 Apple released I was 16 in the month of September as well so obviously as I mentioned we can pretty much predict that September is exactly the month when Apple should release iOS 18 so if we go backwards two years to September of 2022 iOS 16 was released on a Friday so Friday September the 16th is when Apple released iOS 16 to the general public so now let's go backwards one more year so let's go back into 2021 and take a look at Apple released iOS 15 again the month of September and on the month of September iOS 15 was released on September the 20th a Monday September the 20th the 3 Monday of September so out of the past three years Apple has released their software updates on a Monday and typically is the third Monday of the month so if we go back to today 2024 it is currently July we still have the month of August now in the month of August Apple will most likely switch to a weekly release schedule for Betas and my best prediction for the official release of iOS 18 this year is September 16th Monday September 16th the thir Monday of September this year I'm thinking Apple will announce the new iPhones the week of the 9th official release of the new iPhones the 20th of September and iOS 18 the official final release will most likely happen on September the 16th at the latest I would say September the 23rd but I don't believe it's going to go that far out so iOS 18 the official final version of history is any indication will most likely happen on the third Monday of September on September the 16th 2024 and again this is me just predicting based on previous release schedule this is not confirmed information by Apple but as you just saw out of three years backto back two years of those three years Apple typically releases the next major update for the iPhones on the 3rd Monday of September which this year obviously falls on September the 16th and there you guys have it hopefully this will help you understand the release dates and how Apple will handle the official release date for iOS 18 this year I know a lot of you guys are looking forward to a lot of the new features Apple will soon start rolling out a lot of the new Apple intelligence stuff and I know most of you guys can't wait for this update and this is my best prediction thank you for watching hope you guys enjoy this one and I'll see you guys on the next one peace
