back. Live in studio Sabirah. Rayford Fox 13 news. >> Sarah. Thank you. And the search for the Kentucky interstate shooting. Suspect enters day four. Kentucky State Police say the gunman, Joseph Couch, randomly shot a driver along Interstate 75, injuring five people. We had a similar case like this here in our area. >> Caroline Elliott is now joining us live from Kentucky, where police are still on high alert. Caroline >> Yeah. Matthew Hanna, law enforcement teams here believe the suspect is still armed and dangerous. And police are warning the surrounding community here to stay inside. Right now, search crews are focused on this wooded area. You can see here. And we're told this is not an easy location to find someone. The search area includes thousands of acres. There's a lot of trees, caves, and plenty of places to hide. In fact, state police described the search area as a, quote, jungle. Because of the difficult terrain. Now, as the search continues, here we are learning more about what happened before the shooting. According to the affidavit, the suspected shooter texted a woman just 30 minutes before the attack saying, quote, I'm going to kill a lot of people. Well at least I'm going to try. The suspect, Joseph Couch, also texted, quote, I'll kill myself afterwards, but police think he's still out there. >> He doesn't have water. I hope he doesn't have food. And I hope he's just he's wore out and eventually he'll walk out of the woods. That's what I hope happens. And we'll let the judicial system handle him as they see fit.
