hey Aaron from Marin bikes here want to talk about the Four Corners 2 model so we created our four corners model as a global traveler an adventure bike uh basically anything on two wheels all over the world and uh this model takes that uh to the next level for us so some things that we wanted to do when we brought in that higher level of the four corners we wanted a little bit higher end frame set we wanted some higher end componentry drop a little bit of weight uh and and bring in some uh some more off-road oriented uh geometry and style so one of the key things we have here is our Series 3 chromal frame that chromal frame features uh double buted and heat treated main tubes in the front triangle we've also got custom cast uh dropouts uh both on the rear end and on the fork including through axles replaceable rear derailer hanger um um and flat mount on the uh on the non- drive side um also other details like a rear kickstand mount on that Dropout so you can put a rear kickstand Mount if you have a rear carrier on the bike paneers extra luggage so it puts the kickstand exactly where you would want it um otherwise if you want to ride it more off-road or use more bike packing oriented uh stuff it's already set up for that so we've got more eyelets inside of the front triangle if you wanted to add a customized front triangle bag uh we keep the documents on our website as to the map of those so you can have a a custom bag made or even make one yourself uh we added eyelets onto the top tube for the Feed Bag uh very great place to leave your snacks your camera um all the good stuff for the ride uh like I mentioned we did a brand new fork with those custom cast dropouts uh we also have three pack mounts on the fork so the full the fork is full chromal top to bottom so super robust and then with those pack mounts you can add any type of a front uh bottle uh Mini pack uh even the low rider paneers if you're doing more onroad oriented riding uh we went with a one by drivetrain on the bike so this is the uh the Apex one featuring the same gear range that you would find on a mountain bike and hydraulic disc brakes um there is the option to add a front derailer on the frame in the long run so if you wanted to update with some different componentry um you could change it up add front derailer uh change to different gearing in the back as well and then last but not least the way that we built the bike geometry wise is with a very tall head tube nice upright seating position so your back is at a more comfortable angle great for long rides and then when you get down into the drops you're still in an attack position ready to handle off-road or descending but you're not so far down that you're putting a lot of strain on your back so again a bike that's set up for great longdistance touring uh off-road riding we see these built up as all different kinds of mountain bikes and um and everything under the sun for drop bar work World um great bike for uh customizing yourself and doing uh any kind of ride so we're in Four Corners too see you out on the trail
