Intro what's up guys my name is Ryan and as the coronavirus situation has been changing across the world many countries are starting to open their doors to international travelers July first was a monumental day as the EU and other countries made some important travel changes that may allow you to visit your favorite travel destination the summer so here is my top 10 countries open for tourism before I go to this video be aware that everyday travel restrictions for countries are changing and some info in this video may become inaccurate as time goes on wherever you travel to make sure you do the proper research so that you'll be able to safely reach your travel destination alright so from my Turkey first place open for tourism is incredible country of Turkey turkey is one of the few countries open with no travel restrictions on June 16th all restrictions for domestic and international travel were lifted the foreign ministry stated that turkey is ready to host you with our magnificent colors spectacular nature safe tourism and developed health infrastructure in 2019 turkey had a record-breaking amount of tourists with over 50 million people coming to see the beautiful country Turkey has been taking a lot of precautions to prevent the spread of Cova 19 and built confidence for international travelers so this might be the ideal location to escape quarantine and see the beautiful country of Turkey alright so after Turkey weren't it head Greece over to the nearby country of Greece and I have to say Greece is one of my all-time favorite countries I mean it has all four beautiful beaches massive mountains and incredible scenery Greece took a different route than most of other EU countries by opening stores to tourism fairly early on June 15th with over 20 percent of Greece's GDP coming from tourism they took a big financial hit from Corona so they decided to open their doors earlier than the rest of Europe when they first opened their doors to tourism you either had to go in quarantine for 14 days or take a cove in nineteen tests upon arrival but as of July 1st you're no longer to go into quarantine as long as you're a tourist from 29 designated countries which I buy it in the description below if you are a tourist from a country that isn't on the list you may be required to quarantine for one or two weeks so make sure you do your research before going there but hey I think quarantine on a Greek island wouldn't be too bad all right so after Aruba Greece warning go head over to the Caribbean to visit the beautiful country of Aruba located right above Venezuela Aruba is the definition of a tropical paradise as of July 1st travelers from Europe and Canada are permitted to travel here and on July 10th the tourists from the US will be allowed to visit so when you get there you have the option to provide a negative test result taking no more than 72 hours before or you can go take a test when you land followed by a 24-hour quarantine if you're down and take the test and abide by the rules Aruba might be a great place to release some Corona stress all right after a Mexico rubric warned it head to the nearby Mexico I mean it's just a beautiful country it has incredible landscapes beautiful oceans and just some really cool archaeological sites areas such as Cancun Tulum and Los Cabos have opened for tourism but land travel across the borders is still limited to just essential crossings but on July 21st the border plans to open to the US for all travel so if you do plan going on in Mexico definitely look into the exact destination you plan on visiting and see how the tourism situation is currently be handled alright so after Mexico worn a head over to the Indian Ocean to visit Maldives the magic Maldives now this is another popular destination whose economy greatly depends on tourism famous for its crystal clear water and stunning islands the Maldives had over 1.7 million visitors in 2019 and was expecting over 2 million visitors in 2020 the Ministry of Tourism announced that they're going to be reopening its borders to all visitors in July so on July 15th the country will reopen for all travelers it won't be required to undergo a quarantine or show proof of a negative test you just need a confirmed booking in a tourist establishment registered with the Ministry of Tourism not a bad place to go check out this summer Cyprus alright so after the we're gonna head over to Cyprus now located in the Mediterranean ocean south of Turkey Cyprus is eager to resume its tourism so one thing unique that Cyprus is doing is that they are offering to cover the cost of any travelers who test positive for kronor virus while there they're vacationing in Cyprus you'll only be able to go to Cyprus if you're from most European countries the UK and US are not included on the list you have to provide proof that you received a negative test prior to arrival and you may be subjected to temperature checks and random testing during your stay all United Kingdom right so after Cyprus we're gonna head over to the United Kingdom now the United Kingdom includes England Scotland Wales in Northern Ireland it's one of the few places that never closes borders to international travelers even including visitors from the USA but one thing they did do is they require a 14-day self-isolation upon arrival if you break the quarantine rules you could get yourself an expensive fine of over 1000 British pounds while travelling to the UK may not be convenient if you can handle that 14-day quarantine it's an option for travelling even for your USA citizen all France right so after the UK were in a head over to nearby France now in 2019 France was the most visited country with over 86 million visitors on July 1st European nations opened its borders to non-essential travelers from all members of the European Union and other non EU countries such as Iceland Norway Switzerland and Liechtenstein they also opened the travel to select lists of countries such as Canada Japan New Zealand and other places I'll include in the description below countries such as Russia Brazil and the u.s. are still not allowed to enter the EU but the travel list will be reviewed every two weeks as they figure out what countries will be added or removed from the list depending on how they were handling the Cova 19 so a France opening up if you are from the EU or countries from the list you might as well visit I mean France has so much to offer from the magical castle of Mont saint-michel to the beautiful coast of the French Riviera once the travel ban is lifted for US citizens I'm definitely gonna go make a trip over to France I mean I just want to go there so freakin bad another Italy nearby country that is high on my post cabrona travel list is Italy now similar to France if you're from the EU or country from the approved list you'll be able to spend some time in Italy summer back in March and April it was one of the hardest-hit countries due to Corona but has made a great recovery and I can't think of a better place to visit from the crystal clear waters of Italy's islands of Sardinia to the incredible mountains of northern Italy the country has so much to offer Italy was one of the first countries to introduce travelers back into the country I hope it can make great recovery this summer once Corona is over and I'm able to travel there I'm definitely gonna make a nice road trip across the whole country alright so for our last destination Iceland we're gonna go visit Iceland now Iceland was one of the first European countries to open its borders to tourists on June 15th but as of July 1st similar to France and Italy Iceland is allowing people from the Schengen area and 15 other countries to come visit the u.s. is sadly still currently banned for travelling there if you do plan on going to Iceland you'll need to provide proof of a negative Cove in 19 test or you can take a test upon arrival for a fee of about a hundred and twelve dollars so Iceland has been one of the trendiest tourist destinations in the last few years and they handled the coronavirus extremely well with only 2,000 cases there so if you're getting a travel itch and you're from one of those approved countries Iceland is a great place to visit all right well I hope this list helps everyday things are changing so do your proper research before booking tickets and traveling to your destination I hope we can all get back out there traveling soon you can find me on tik-tok and Instagram at surely dot films it's Ryan and we will see you later [Music]
