well guys it's finally official the LA Chargers have made a big signing to help upgrade more and more depth on the defensive side of the ball find out more of the details here on charger [Music] Syndicate what's going on you guys Jake here on charger Syndicate Giving You Everything La Chargers news if it is your first time here up on the channel I encourage every single one of you guys to like subscribe hit the Bell button to keep you up to dat on future and past videos of everything you need to know of your LH Chargers well guys it's official my previous video that I had basically talked about and now it is finally here that the LA Chargers have officially signed former NFL safety Tony Jefferson he's coming out of retirement and is coming aboard joining the LA Chargers as I've said before breaking down all of the stats and what Tony Jefferson really does bring to the table Tony Jefferson is just another one of those really great veteran leaders that could help to fix up the defense not to mention provides a lot of really good veteran depth especially when you're talking about a room filled with Derwin James aloy Gilman JT Woods all these guys that are basically buil building up to the biggest potential right now to be a complete shutdown defense that defensive coordinator Jesse Minter has been preaching to do and now we finally get to see this up and in action so the news was reported and it basically fell through by the time Tony Jefferson showed up and arrived and came in to train for training camp and the second that he basically worked out with the team he was more than impressive and impressed a lot lot of the Chargers coaches including Jim Harbaugh and Jesse Minter so at that point from during camp this was where the other pivotal response to this that also led up to the signing was that Derwin James the second that he saw Tony Jefferson working out playing his style of football and of course basically seeing how fast he could adapt and acclimate to the speed and the tempo of this game especially with the new world changes and Derwin James flat out basically said I want this guy on the roster and so when you hear it from one of their superstars on defense and at safety that's basically telling you this guy loves what he sees he gets along with him very very well definitely is crucial when it comes to veteran experience and especially somebody that can be the extra voice in the locker room to help boost up the secondary for the Chargers I'm real happy with this signing the fact that he's coming out of retirement comes out in the best shape possible comes out and starts impressing the coaches left and right and just basically just finds the roster spot is given the roster spot from here so now that Tony Jefferson is officially up and on with the Chargers do you think this might be a chance that this could basically close the books now on how the Chargers defense could be maybe so or maybe they might have another trick up their sleeve there is still more time still about a couple of months before preseason and the 2024 NFL regular season begins to start and this is exactly where it's taking it in the right direction the Chargers have definitely been loving training camp thus far and are still waiting and waiting and waiting for the new season to begin but now bringing in a veteran Bo for the secondary and for the safety room that really needed to make huge improvements and huge strides this year Tony Jefferson is definitely going to serve in the best way possible and I am just absolutely stoked and excited for what he can do with the LA Chargers here come the year of 2024 that's it here for Chargers Syndicate news if you guys haven't done so already like subscribe hit the Bell button keep you up to date so you could keep up with everything you need to know about the LA Chargers Jake Silva signing off and we will see you guys here on the next video on charger Syndicate see you later guys
