Prime Time Deion Sanders University of Colorado um did it started off strong three and 0 and then after that they nose dived and obviously won one of their last eight games or what have you we know including six straight and we know that he's been in the news on a lot of occasions over the last uh few months the sizzle is always with prime time you know I think that he has the potential to be a great coach I know he's the one of he's the greatest quarterback that ever lived um and I think that he's an elite motivator My Wish for him is that he had got a Florida state job when he wanted it before Colorado ever came along or he had gotten a job at Texas A&M that would have been my wish for him in competing in the SEC I think being in Boulder Colorado I don't like his in Paul you know Paul F bom but your thoughts about Prime Time Deion Sanders and what that program is going to do well they own the college football season last year for about five weeks and and some of it was predicated on on on upsetting TCU and then beating the brown having people like you Shannon uh the rock others show up and it just infused so much energy that everybody wanted to watch them and then when they went off the cliff uh people turned away and I don't think they're turning back this season Stephen A and I think that's going to frustrate uh coach Prime I I have great respect for him uh he's he's recruited a lot of amazing players I mean Travis Hunter might be the best player in the country but it's not enough uh and and and it just the league is easier this year being in the Big 12 but he's still uh to be relevant uh has to be a playoff Contender and I don't think they are in the moment that they lose enough games where they're no longer part of the conversation I think we will all move on to those who who matter most and I think that will drive him crazy uh I agree with you you put him in any number of places and he can he can recruit the talent you can only recruit a limited amount of Talent with uh to to Boulder so I I I hope he's patient but ultimately I think that's a dead end job for him do you believe that he'll ultimately get a job at a big-time program or do you believe that times are going to be so rough that it could ruin his future prospects of getting a job at a big time program I think ads know what he's capable of uh now some will not hire him you know that and I know that uh but but there are a there are athletic directors out there at at good schools who who need who need a change agent who I think will take the chance but by the way not a make make a very smart move I think there are a lot of places that he could completely turn turn it upside down where he would have a legitimate Chance by the way Auburn's another school that could have had him two years ago and they ended up hiring Hugh frees who who was run out of the business eight or nine years ago at all Miss but uh somebody some somebody will take a chance on him and I think they'll be rewarded uh I give Colorado credit for trying he's changed that he's made that place at least a conversation piece but ultimately it's still Colorado and they are never even even with even with Deion Sanders going to be a significant player in college football for someone that never wanted to do this I am really uh addicted to it right now the babies have really giving me a purpose in life and I'm enjoying it when man Prime was first talking about it and it never dawned on me until the babies got to me when I was in a hot tub you know trying to get my hip right and just to work with them a little bit it just it flooded me and they were reaching and grabbing asking questions and I've worked with Pros that are get my phone number and tell me they coming to Miami and my house is a m have from what they work out and they'll never called these kids called me 5:30 in the morning coach you going to come watch tape with me it's crazy I'm like yeah give me a purpose to get off to the couch I mean that it trust me I was on my couch watching MSNBC I loving this I am loving this man how you feel man from one coach to another coach I've been bit by that that bug but I don't want to get into coaching you don't I'm addicted to giving back I'm addicted to to helping I'm I'm addicted to being a servant I'm addicted to to being a helping hand lending hand but don't listen here what's up don't catch your hand listen here do not expect it when you just assume that that's what I'm supposed to do yeah for a kid for me to to give back my time effort energies and my insight to a kid who I see so much in and I always say I say son I cannot want you to succeed more than you want to succeed you got so many different Outlets to be able to say when you look back when you're 21 25 31 35 man I had so much help so many unsung heroes so many people behind the scenes that make me be able to perform on the scenes that's what I like so they say k why you keep doing all these things or why you rendering your time it's that whatever Warren sa just said how he got bit by that bug to help these kids I've been bit since 200 11 really going back to 2010 where I was going to right SM Road Elementary but folks don't know that but you want to talk about Cam's an individual and Cam's and this C no cam is a person who I don't want you to worship me please don't do that I'm just like you if you can see a from Atlanta Georgia make it and he's sitting back and you could touch him you could talk to him laugh with him you know what I'm saying pray with him be able to just sit up here and kick the with him that's all the purpose that you need yeah cuz he did it and I'm a ride off in my Ferrari yeah I'm ride off in my Rolls-Royce not to be able to to peasantry oh to be able to say damn I can get that too he from the same roads and the same streets in the same Hood from I'm far from same thing that's real why I do it so we only got the one love award yet you know what I'm saying man War at man Og man appreciate you bro keep doing what you're doing dog Dion Sanders tenure at Colorado is shaping up to be one of the most electrifying and polarizing stories in college football history we're not just talking about a coach trying to rebuild a struggling program or witnessing a legend on the brink of either Monumental success or catastrophic failure the stakes Monumental the risks trense and for Dion Sanders this could either be the platform that cements his legacy as one of the greatest coaches ever or The Crucible that exposes his limits from the moment Sanders arrived at Colorado the media frenzy was unparalleled he wasn't just seen as a coach he was the face of a new era for the program a Beacon of Hope for a fan base desperate for change the expectations were Skyhigh fueled by the aura of prime time and the belief that his Charisma and connections could turn the Buffalo into contenders but here's the brutal reality college football is unforgiving and Sanders has chosen to take on a Monumental task at a program that has struggled for relevance for years Sanders bold recruiting moves including the addition of Travis hunter sent shock waves through the sport people began to Wonder Could Sanders really build a Powerhouse in Boulder but for every top recruit Sanders brings in there's a mountain of challenges standing in his way the Pack 12 is unforgiving and the expectations placed on Sanders might be impossible to meet the question isn't just whether Sanders can win at Colorado it's whether he can survive the pressure cooker he's created the 2023 season was a roller coaster to say the least Sanders team started strong capturing the attention of the entire nation with a three start suddenly Boulder was the epicenter of college football celebrities Sports analysts and fans alike were all talking about the Resurgence of Colorado Football the program had gone from an afterthought to the front page of every Sports Outlet in the country but as quickly as the rise came the fall was even more devastating after that initial surge Sanders Buffalo spiraled out of control losing six of their last seven games the excitement turned to disappointment and the doubt started creeping in had Sanders bitten off more than he could chew was the job at Colorado too big even for someone with sander star power the losses weren't just defeats they were body blows to a prog and a coach that had been riding high on a wave of optimism and this is where the stakes get even higher for Sanders Colorado is more than just a coaching gig it's a proven ground if he can turn this program around he will solidify himself as one of the most influential figures in the sport but if he fails The Fallout could be catastrophic Sanders reputation as a motivator a recruiter and a leader could take a serious hit and the dream of building a dynasty at Colorado could crumble before it ever truly begins The Whispers of arst have already started is Colorado a deadend job for Dion Sanders can even prime time overcome the inherent challenges of trying to build a winner and Boulder Sanders has proven he can recruit talent but can he turn that Talent into a cohesive winning team and if the losses continue to pile up will he be able to keep his players his fans and most importantly himself believing in the vision social media and sports pundits are buzzing with speculation on platforms like Twitter Instagram and Tik Tok the discourse around Sanders is a mix of Hope and doubt the highs of his recruiting wins and the lows of Colorado's losing streak have created a perfect storm of uncertainty for every tweet praising Sanders impact on the program there's another questioning whether he's in over his head the sports world is holding its breath waiting to see if Sanders can turn things around or if this will be the chapter that tarnishes his legacy and let's be real the clock is ticking college football is a results driven business and patience is in short supply the pressure on standers to deliver is immense and the margin for error is Razor thin if Colorado doesn't start winning and soon The Narrative could shift from Prime Times Revival to Prime Times downfall this isn't just about X's and O's on the field it's about managing expectations navigating the media frenzy and proving that Sanders isn't just a flash in the pan some sports analysts have even suggested that Sanders time at Colorado is a stepping stone to a bigger program but here's the catch he has to succeed at Colorado first if he can't make it work Boulder the door to those bigger opportunities might close before it ever truly opens this is the ultimate test for Sanders both as a coach and as a leader can he defy the odds or will Colorado be the place where his coaching dreams go to die there are Whispers of other schools watching Sanders closely programs like Auburn and Florida State places where Sanders star power and recruiting prowess could Thrive are keeping an eye on his progress but they're also watching for signs of failure if Sanders can prove he can win at Colorado the dis skies the limit but if he falters those opportunities could vanish in the blink of an eye in the end Deion Sanders Journey at Colorado is about more than just football it's about Legacy risk and Redemption the stakes couldn't be higher and the outcome couldn't be more uncertain will Sanders rise to the challenge and cement his place as one of the greatest coaches of all time or will Colorado be the end of the road for prime time the answer is still up in the air but one thing is for sure the world is watching and the pressure is on
