amid Boo and gron Florida State's football team faced a tough loss at home against Boston College dropping to 0 to2 for the first time since 2021 the Eagles took home a 28-13 victory led by quarterback Thomas Castellanos and a strong offensive showing while fsu's defense fell short once again this loss ended fsu's nine-game home winning streak leaving fans and players frustrated head coach Mike noell didn't hold back admitting I'm just sick how the season started obviously tonight I failed in preparing the team quarterback DJ UAG had a rough night struggling to connect with receivers leading to chance of we want Brock from the crowd Brock glun the backup red shirt freshman QB who had shown promise last season seemed to be the fan favorite but it wasn't enough to turn the tide UAG completed 21 of 42 passes with one touchdown and an interception while Castellanos shined completing 10 of 16 passes throwing two touch downs and adding 85 rushing yards with a score the Eagles dominated on the ground outgaining FSU to 63 rushing yards to 21 a glimmer of hope appeared when UAG connected with KRON potier for a touchdown cutting the deficit to 21213 however the defense couldn't hold allowing Boston College to seal the game with a late score making it 28-13 three takeaways offensive V continue fsu's offense looked lost failing to create explosive Place UAG missed too many throws and when he did connect receivers couldn't hold on the Run game was practically non-existent with just 16 carries for 21 yards we missed some opportunities in the passing game it takes everybody no well noted emphasizing the need for improvement across the board defensive struggles persist the defense couldn't stop the run allowing 263 rushing yards former FSU player thron vard added salt to the wound rushing for 77 yards and catching three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown no well acknowledged if you give them space they're going to make it happen highlighting the need for more aggressive defensive play unchanged game plan hurts FSU stuck to its game plan despite its failures the pass first approach didn't work yet adjustments were minimal defensively tackling issues and slow reactions plagued the seols contributing to their downfall FSU now faces an uphill battle to turn their season around needing significant changes on both sides of the ball the pressure is on as they prepare for the next game hoping to avoid a 0 to three start if you like this video please like share and subscribe to my channel for more updates
