always right quick very quick man not going to hold y'all long I just want to give my quick thought on Kurt Cousins um comments on Cal pittz and it really wasn't surprise because Cal pittz has to be that guy I've been telling y'all all off season if this offense is to go as far as I think it can go k pit had to be that the side fact it's not only it's not because he was the number four pick in the draft it's because I think opening up the middle of the field with the tight end and being as versatile as he can be uh that's going to be key because if you got a guy 66250 flying all around the field with four for Speed matching up against linebackers matching up against safy H matching up against quarterbacks um I don't think no one can stop him and now that he has the perfect quarterback and Kurt cousin to get him the football he's going to be uh bit more dominant we can see him return back for of that rookie season 2021 where he had 68 catches for 1,26 yards nearly set the NFL record for a rookie tight end and receiving yards missed it by that much yeah he only had one touchdown but man he you saw the potential there and the last two years have been marred by injury he did get back on track last year but he was not 100% at any point of the Season still put up 53 catches for 667 yards and a in a career high three touchdowns so seven touch six touchdowns in three seasons doesn't sound like a lot so what if he finally gets that quarterback to get him six touchdowns in one season Kurt cousin is that guy and Kurt cousin to what he thought about K pittz uh he was asked about um who was the best player on the F he gave an honest answer now he gave an honest answer and I'm going put the quote up on the screen say I I think our best player has got to be on the field for us to be who we want to be K's got a lot of ability I just think it's a great opportunity for him for our offense this year to really be Playmakers we've got to have him out there and it's just like I just alluded to he's got control the middle of the field and if he controls the middle of the field guess what the defense won't know which way to attack you have two guys in bejn Robertson Tyler aler uh who are perfect thunder and lightning Duo uh in the NFL as far as running backs and he can control the scams and win his matchups guess what play action works no hudle Works uh draw play misdirection Works anything that you can to draw up I think it helps the Atlanta Falcons offense if K PS his ticket now we know he lines up in the slot that he lines up in the X he can also line up in line uh but I think for him to be the most effective slot has to be his spot because with the slot position he will be manned up as I said against different positions and I think he wins those battles and I think that helps uh the vertical game with darnel Mooney and then we know Drake London uh who's going into oh what time is flying by fourth year already so uh o man I I just don't know man cal pitz um I just see the sky the limit for this guy because that rookie season you saw the greatness but let's finish off this quote by Kurt Cuts he said not to divorce too much but he was just saying how talented KY can be and how much he can really threaten a defensive back as I said earlier I agree wholeheartedly so it'll be exciting to get him out there and get him going so if he can get him going early and often um this Falcon probably offense will probably be top 10 maybe top five in the league and that's against teams that's with lined up against teams like uh Kansas City and Philadelphia who they have in the first three weeks um so if they can get this thing going against Pittsburgh go into those game with momentum um I think the Atlanta Falcons will set up for great since this season uh but Kurt Cousins gave his Hest opinion on KY pittz and why he has to be uh the best player on the field and why he has to be the best player uh to me um just all around and there's no knock to anyone on the offensive side of the ball of the defensive side of the ball you just have to have that playmaker on offense uh that sets you up to be great and uh if he can do that and this offense gets to Rolling takes pressure off the defense they can control the clock and um that wins football games I still have I still think it's Super Bowl a bus for the Falcons so I'm sticking to that but Kurt cousin again K Pitt his fly was saying he has to be the best player on the field and he could be the best player on the Falcons y'all let me know drop those comments let's
