and he's just over 30 pitches at least got one to hit right there and Miss gets that get me over pitch he takes that for a strike and then he gets his Sinker middle of the plate and that's what happens so the fifth strike out today forber Valdez that Cur e e when you see that as a hitter are you going up there thinking all right I got to make this guy work I got to make him throw some pitches or because he has that devastating curveball I got to get that first pitch I can hit and attack it yeah I mean you can't weigh around but obviously when you pop up in the first first pitch of the evat that's not a competitive atat so you see what happened to Robert he lets that first pitch go he strikes out on three pitches and tend he sees that so he's like okay I need to be ready to hit okay but he comes up there and and you know it's a pop up to left field on the first pitch that's not a competitive at B it's not right or wrong that he went after the pitch it's just if you're going to go after the first pitch you got to be ready to knock that ball you know obliterate that baseball and unfortunately it just wasn't wasn't the case but that's the kind of cat and mouse game you get because sometimes the first pitch is the best pitch you get and it all depends on how you feel at the play if you feel good at the play you know you can take a pitch and still be in it but if you're feeling a little squirrly at the dish I mean you don't want to wait around it's hard because he called that strike no he didn't Oh I thought he I thought theer called a strike I was like whoa the first walk given up today by Valdez and we talked about that Approach at bat to at bat and you saw Andrew vaugh was being patient there and he works the first walk of the game that's a good atat after after a tough at bat right that's picking up your teammate [Music] your point what you're what you honed in on right there is why he has complete games because people know they have to go early sometimes and he gets a lot of quick outs cuz he's that nasty that's why he gets deep in the ball games that not so a break for Cory Lee one one count as Valdez Just Smiles make it hurt Cory nothing but curve balls and once again Valdez does not get the call so it's two and one he's going to take a little walk behind the mound and yeah these are two pretty good curveballs back to back I me look at that nasty does not get the call probably should have gotten the call on at least one of those pitch clock is winding down it is at one right now and just does get it off that's just unfair you think of fast's coming it's two and one and then all of a sudden he throws this change up it is just nasty I mean it's like it looks like a zinker except four 5 mil off of watch this movement holy moly I mean that is just pulling the string and I blank swinging over that when it's 2-1 you just got two breaking pitches for a ball you're thinking I'm getting a fast ball no doubt right here 2 two did he go no Diaz can I have some words [Music] valz Ras get Diaz and thech is having with someone in the Astros [Music] dug see the white sock can capitalize on this 32 and there's that curveball again [Music]
