and then 10 years later you're at a women's sports Foundation banquet and you're thinking about some things there tell us what happened there well I you know knew what I was doing and I loved what I was doing but to be able to go to New York you know to um to the women's sports Foundation which I'd never heard of and to go to this fabulous dinner and to meet Billy Jean King and to meet Donna deona and to meet some of the stars that I'd watched on television and to have them treat me so well I mean it was like so so who are you you know I'm L St James what do you do I'm a race car you're a Race Car Driver even though I wasn't racing in any national big deal it just somehow elevated my own self sense of self and then I found out that the foundation does all of this work for other people you know to try to help other women to try to help men bringing men in to understand how important it is
