to be fighting so hard all game keeping 13 points I'm not asking to throw anybody under the bus but how frustrating is it to still lose when you guys play so well on your side yeah I mean losing sucks I mean if if we win 5150 you know it it's the same thing or lose 5150 you know they it's it doesn't matter it's a team sport for a reason and so we need to you know in a game like that you know we need to give them the ball we need to give them a short field we need to do those things and we weren't able to do that today you know it's it's one of those things where um you know we can do better as a defense you know um we had too many penalties um we got to be able to adjust to um the officiating crew and um you know that's just not the standard um you know we should have held them to a lot less points I think in my opinion and we're a lot better than that so uh you know we're going to keep chipping away and and uh it's a new week tomorrow our confidence ain't shaking at all but I mean you just got to control what you can um back to the drawing boys end of the day I mean you got to watch film and you know see what we went wrong I mean what the team went wrong and you know get ready for uh Tampa Bay and you can't that's a key game on this road trip these are two tough games again but you guys can't fall behind too far now I mean every game is every game is a key game um I mean we we got a go we got a common goal and in order to reach that we got to get wins so every game is a key game for us you know obviously uh with our defense we knew we had to play hard and play physical um our main goal is try to out physical them and I think we've was very physical on defense um and I think we saw let him off the hook you know in some plays you know including myself I know I got to get better in certain ways as well too but you know at the end of the day it's you know it's a it's a hard hard League I mean you win some you lose some so you know we look forward to next week yeah there was a there was definitely an emphasis on on the Run game this week and um it it really sucks to to fall short once again I mean we got to make the plays when they're there uh I obviously had two drops and it's unacceptable um so got to correct those things oh I think it's been poor execution you think you'll see it on I'll see it on tape whether it be um you know someone just missing one one block or you know some type of movement that happens um we got to continue um on the front five keep put pointing the thumbs in it takes all of us you know um it takes all 11 of us to make sure that we're executing and knowing our assignment and executing it to the highest level to make sure that we are able to capitalize and you know props to to the to the to the defense at certain times they have really good athletes as well and you can scheme up something as well as you want to but sometimes guys make plays and um you know when that happens we have to bounce back and you know go out there when we get the opportunity again go back out there and and and put something else together and you know that's on us it's on us to figure that out and and to to find a way that's the biggest thing find a way we have to find a way there is no no one's going to come save us it's only us you know um as people have said before the boats have been burned it's literally us after the training camp once the roster got got made this is us this is all we have that's all we need and we know that we have what we need in this locker room and we will get it figured out how important is it just for the development of B for you guys to step it up around you yeah um for for everyone we all got to be better we all got to step up um cuz everyone's going to feed off of that qu do you feel like B knck has maintained his confidence throughout these first two weeks yeah I I couldn't be more proud of of Bo the way he's um you know commanding the lot of scrimmage commanding the Huddle um I mean even before we're going out on the field I I can feel um you know his confidence and his Poise and uh I'm excited to keep playing with him B is pretty levelheaded um he's more mature than than most people I seen just coming in so I don't feel like it'll affect both too much um I know he he's going to be hard on himself more than he is the team so I feel like he'll be ready to rock and roll this week how do you feel like what can you do the next two weeks to really establish who this defense is who this defense I think head down um you know focus on us um and you know keep grinding I think that's the biggest thing you know we're still trying to figure out our identity and and you know I think we all believe that we can be a great team I think it's just we got to keep working and coming in every day I think it's more just you know being going into being close um we know the team we are and you know I think uh these next two weeks obviously are going to you know it's going to be what defines us this season you know we're obviously staying on the East Coast so this is it's really a a week about us or two weeks really about us so uh we're going to see who we are in about four weeks from now
