we're out here at Audrey Walton field where the Missouri Tigers look to keep up their undefeated home streak against the Vanderbilt commodor led by Taylor Grant the senior goalscoring leader it was a windy game day as Missouri head coach Brian Blitz sought to get his 250th career win against Vanderbilt who was still seeking their first SEC win of the Season an early tiger goal electrified the home crowd only 23 seconds into the game and gave the Tigers a one to nothing lead the Vanderbilt offense struggled answer back and take advantage of chances as the tiger defense dominated the game and earned another shutout thanks to a great performance by the back four and Senior goalkeeper McKenzie saen meanwhile the Missouri offense continued to pour on the pressure thanks to a barrage of shots and well executed passing that tore apart the commodor stopper sweeper system the Tigers added to their score total quickly after halftime with an early second half goal by Caitlyn Clark that gave the Tigers the 2 lead and put the commodor even further out of the reach of the game the tiger dominance would continue after the goal as Missouri would keep up the attack and hold on to the lead for the remainder of the game the Tigers would walk away with an impressive two-nil victory in the end and continue their eye-opening season with another sec Victory the win also gave head coach Brian Blitz his much deserved Milestone 250th career win the Tigers gained an impressive win here against Vanderbilt and improved a 9-2 and two on the season and 4-1 in SEC play they'll be back in action on Friday as they travel to play the Alburn tigers for 23 Sports this has been Matt Vine here at Audrey Walton field
