all right everybody we got a little bit of news regarding tonight's game against the Cleveland Browns this came from several different Cleveland Brown beat reporters several different sources over there they are playing plenty of starters tonight the Cleveland Browns are but DeShaun Watson will not be one of them I got this tweet from Mary Kay cabitt on the screen right now deshun Watson will sit out the Browns preseason finale so the Seattle Seahawks will go through the entirety of the 2024 preseason without playing a single snap against a starting quarterback now the good news is I'm going to go ahead and call it good news because it's good to cut your teeth at least a little bit in the preseason the Browns do have jamus Winston who is one of the better backup quarterbacks in the NFL a guy who has started a lot of games in the NFL so if you want to try to get like a simulated game against a starting quarterback that would not be a bad option so we're going to probably see a decent amount of uh of a jamus Winston and that does offer a little bit more of a credible challenge than somebody like an eastn stick I would say I'll I'll I'll at least go that far and they also have I believe DTR still on that team and DTR Dorian Thompson Robinson is a quarterback who I personally was pretty intrigued by when he was uh in the draft a couple years ago so that's not a terrible guy to go up up against either at this point he's in uh year two now he should be a little bit further along and be a little bit more of a credible NFL quarterback and maybe we get a little look at Tyler Huntley as well because I think he's still hanging around on that Browns roster so yeah we're still going to get our chance at a couple of interesting quarterbacks but no desun Watson also I have heard that Gera Fetti will be starting at left tackle and we know very well that Gera Fetti is not tackle he's not really a tackle in general he's kind of a guard I mean if he's going to be anything he's a guard right but he's certainly not a left tackle even when he was in Seattle I don't think we ever played him at left tackle so we're also not getting the starters for Cleveland all across their offensive line but uh you know welcome back to Seattle Gera Fetti I guess all right so that is the news that is what we got here no deshun Watson and uh I'm personally a little I I don't know I I would have preferred to go up against at least one starting QB at some point the good news is the first couple weeks we're going to be playing bonick and then probably jacobe brassette neither guy is necessarily at this point in time better than a guy like jamus Winston so we're going to be able to ease our way into the battles against the better quarterbacks when the regular season starts anyway all right uh sound off down below I'll see you guys later go Hawks probably another video between now and the game but uh see you guys later
