good morning today is day 158 of my Appalachian trailr hike it's about 9:30 and I'm just now leaving East Beck Pond shelter um another late start but I think it was very needed um I fell asleep like a little after 700 p.m. last night and I didn't wake up until like 7:30 so slept for like 11 or 12 hours so felt really really nice to sleep that much um I think my body really needed the rest um yeah I'm still sore for sure from yesterday than the Maho Sig Notch like my upper body shoulders are a little but sore from having to climb around all those big rocks and things like that um but yeah I don't know exactly what the plan is today depends on the terrain we can either go like I think 10 miles to a shelter or like 17 to a camp spot so we'll see how the day goes [Music] so we climbing too we've made it to the West peak of bald Pate Mountain we have a view finally a nice day I think we have to go up that I think we do too all right we were just over there looking at this and now we're pretty much on the top of it it's been a little gnarly getting up here pretty much just this bald Rock SL well what once again we kind of uh did a shorter day today I think we hiked about 10 and 1 half miles something like that um pulled up out a shelter and some friends were here so we stopped and had dinner and we've got a fire going we're hanging out but I think I'm going to call it a night and try to get um to sleep early again because we're actually going to try to leave camp at a normal time so hopefully around like 6:30 or 7 tomorrow so we can do a longer day but yeah feeling a lot better today I think I really needed all that sleep that I got last night and then the Sun finally came out and we got some pretty views so all of that kind of led to feeling better today but thank you so much for watching mighty fine hiking everyone bye a [Music] [Music] [Music]
