streamer at any point consider hitting that subscribe button for us our only rule for these options we today is that they must be roster on less than 50% of sleeper rosters hits our top 12 finishers via fantasy pros I was 22nd overall in the fantasy pros weekly rankings accuracy competition last season for this show last year we were 57 and 32 which means we hit top 12 on 64% of our calls it's week one I'm not gonna go too much into the weeds here we don't know as much about these teams as we do typically as we get into the season but I am going to start with just two options for this week for each position and I'm just gonna kind of keep it real quick and sweet first kicker Kicker | Jason Myers Jason Myers versus the Denver Broncos he's only rostered in 21% of sleeper leagues Denver was eighth worst against defenses in 2023 Seattle has the ninth best implied team total at 24 points this week and they're sixo home favorites I expect Seattle to start the year strong and I think Jason Myers will be a beneficiary of that I think a top 12 finish is very likely second kicker is going to be Kyo Santos who is only Kicker | Cairo Santos rosted in 11% of leagues on sleeper Tennessee was the worst team against kickers last year it was the team to Target uh kickers against Chicago has the eighth best implied team total this week at 24 and a quarter and they are fourpoint home favorites so it's very similar to the reasons there for Jason Myers I just think these two teams will come in they should win their games the kicker should benefit the defenses this week we have Cincinnati versus New Defense | - Cincinnati Bengals Defense England Cincinnati for some reason is only rossing 49% of leagues I think it's the best defense play in week one uh in a lot of my leagues where I just drafted extra handcuffs in rounds 1415 and then went to pick up my defense last minute Cincinnati is the top of the list of defenses I went to get New England was fourth worst in 2023 as they were sixth in the NFL turnovers New England has the lowest implied team total on the week by a good bit at 15 and a half points Cincinnati was 12th in takeaways last year and they're ninepoint home favorites this week which is the week's biggest favorite second team is going to Defense | Seattle Seahawks Defense be Seattle versus Denver if I can't get Cincinnati I'm GNA get Seattle we already talked about uh Jason Myers and why I think the Seattle Seahawks are going to control that game well here I think the defense also benefits they're only rostering 48% of leagues Denver was 14th worst in 2023 against defenses 15th in turnovers but they have the second lowest implied team point total this week at just 18 points Seattle are six point home favorites as we mentioned which is the second biggest favorites on the week now I said I was going to give two at each but each week if you remember last year I gave two absolute Flyers at the end of each one where if you're in a really deep League or you're in a league where people are rostering two defenses two kickers or maybe it's a 1620 Team league something like that I got you these are real deep Flyers you just have to temper your expectations BONUS Defense | Los Angeles Chargers Defense the first is this week is going to be the Los Angeles Chargers versus the Los Vegas Raiders the Chargers are only rostered in 6% of leagues I think they are a top 12 defense play this week the Raiders are actually third lowest in implied team total this week at 18 and a half in what should be an absolute stinker of a week one matchup versus the three-point home favorites the Raiders were 12th worst in 2223 versus opposing defenses and as I said this is a prayer but the charter should be available in pretty much every single League just like Chris Boswell here versus the at BONUS Defense | Chris Boswell Falcons he's only rostered in 2% of leagues um but it could just be a narrative thing here but with Arthur Smith I think he will want to start the year bar strong versus his former Falcon Squad Atlanta was third worst of carers last year they're one of these teams alongside a team like the Tennessee Titans that we mentioned that every single week I just wanted whatever kicker was going against Atlanta we'll see if week one that holds true this match up is supposed to be a really scrappy fight the Steelers are actually three-point dogs here despite being at home uh both teams are going to be running new quarterbacks so I'd be tested into Trust Red Zone efficiency and I think that that could end up making this game a real feeli goal off additionally Tomlin is 167 and2 AK 68% against the spread as home field underdogs so I personally anticipate the Steelers to not only cover but to score OV and then I give the two liers kept it simple this week normally I go a little bit more into depth about why I think that there are good reasons to go with these guys in their matchups but again the data is pretty limited here in week one I'm really leaning on Vegas's um spreads here and implied team Point totals but historically I think that's been a pretty good spot to start for us job you can
