Josh Jacobs last year with Las Vegas 233 Rush attempts 805 yards six touchdowns 37 receptions on 54 targets 296 yards and zero touchdowns to the air thoughts on Josh Jacobs Jacobs is a guy I I thought I was really gonna like in Green Bay and now I'm almost worried that there's just too many damn mouths Green Bay has a embarrassment of talent at the wide receiver position they just paid Jord Love they have two very good young tight ends um you have Jacobs that you brought into the fold AJ Dylan is kind of the the guy who's been there and understands the offense and then you drafted Marshon Lloyd on top of that so there's a lot of mouths in Green Bay currently um Jacobs will have top billing but I don't I don't think that he is the guy I want in this range I think I would be more comfortable grabbing a Rashad white a James Cook a Joe Mixon as opposed to Josh Jacobs I I I agree with you I I am not in on Josh Jacobs not where you have to take him at the start of the third round uh and I just don't think that you're gonna get the return on investment there uh certainly didn't look like the Josh Jacobs of old and the guy that we had we had used to uh really kind of see go out there and be hyper efficient you know garnering well over four yards a carry uh uh and yeah this was a a worst yards per carry that we've seen in his entire career at 3.5 yards per carry now one would hope with uh with Green Bay they've got a little bit better offensive line up there and so that could potentially improve some of the efficiencies there but this is one where I don't know that we're going to see that we've been used to seeing in that that massive volume play that we saw him when he was with the Raiders Alex you said it just a moment ago you're drafted him at a ceiling I think that's about right like this is rb2 type of that you're having to draft is an rb1 right now and uh at that point he has been moving steadily down my draft boards
