WE HAVE BEEN TRACK SOMETHING HEAVY RAIN AND LIGHTNING NOW. MOVING INTO AREA LIKE HIALEAH AND MIAMI AND DORAL. CORRAL GABLES YOU'RE DRYING UP AS THIS CONTINUES TO WORK ITS WAY WESTWARD. AND NOW WE'RE STARTING TO SEE THE SHOWERS PUSH INTO PINECREST. AND PALMETTO BAY. YOU'RE SEEING LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN. WE'RE SEEING SHOWER AND ACTIVITY. THE KEYS ARE SEEING THE SHOWERS AND STORMS FOR THE MIDDLE KEYS DOWN TOWARDS LONG KEY STILL LOOKING AT SOME ONGOING RAIN. THE REASON WHY TODAY, YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN UNSETTLED IS THE FACT THAT WE HAVE ATE TROPICAL WAVE MOVING OVER THE AREA. YOU CAN SEE THE PURPLE SPREADING ON SHORE. THAT IS THE TROPICAL MOISTURE THAT WILL CONTINUE TO DISTRIBUTE TO THE HIGHER RAIN CHANCES. IT COULD LEAD TO THE POTENTIAL OF LOCALIZED FLOODING. WE HAVE THE POTENTIAL TODAY AS ANY OF THESE STORMS THAT DO DEVELOP REALLY COULD BE PRODUCING SOME HEAVY RAIN. TODAY AND TOMORROW, WE'LL KEEP IT ABOUT THE HIGHEST RAIN CHANCES BEFORE THE TROPICAL WAVE STARTS TO DEPART. THAT WILL BE A CLOSER TO NORMAL FOR THE START OF THE WORKWEEK AND A 50% CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS. THE CLOUD COVERS ACROSS MIAMI BEACH. THE TEMPERATURES, THE RAIN IS KEEPING IT COOLER. SO WE'RE AT LEAST ENJOYING SOME RAIN-COOLED AREA. THE BEACH AREAS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO A HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK TODAY THAT WILL BE THROUGH THE AREA THIS EVENING. SO BE MINDFUL OF THAT. THAT WILL NOT BE THE BEST BEACH DAY ANYWAY WITH THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS. TIMING THINGS OUT WITH THE RAIN TRACKER. WE'LL CONTINUE WITH THE ON AND OFF SHOWERS AND STORMS. GENERAL PROGRESSION WILL BE EAST TO WEST. WE COULD SEE HEAVIER SPOTS ON THE WESTERN FRINGE ACCIDENT. THE COASTAL ZONES AND THE EASTERN METRO AREAS FOR THE EVENING. BE MINDFUL TO HAVE THE UMBRELLA ALL DAY LONG. ONGOING CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS, COUPLED WITH SOME DRY PERIODS WILL BE THE RACE THIS EVENING AND THE KIND OF THING. AND ALSO INTO THE AFTERNOON FOR YOUR SUNDAY.
