[Music] all right we got college football 25 here and we're about to get into talking about what you can and cannot edit in the game so uh well a lot of us are really really looking forward and have been looking forward to this game so and gameplay is is as advertised it's really good presentation is fantastic but the editing thing is a thing for a lot of people especially those who remember the game back from NCA football uh the previous Series so what I want to do uh I think many of us knew I put a video out a little bit earlier um about there being some limitations in regards to what you can edit so what we want to do now is kind of go through and just show like who you can edit and what you can and cannot edit on those people like so technically you can edit everybody but it is dramatically uh reduced what you can do to nil players so nil players are the name image and likeness players so essentially what it was you know what pretty much we heard is that in order for them to bring the game back they had to have nil players and so by bringing nil players back there was a restriction there right so here is the Restriction essentially so we got Travis Hunter here you can see you cannot edit anything about Travis Hunter here about his player bio uh none of his his ratings um none of his attributes okay but you can edit his apparel uh so you can change the helmet uh kind of uh torso gear he wears black plate shoulder pads neet neck pad flag jacket undershirts very similar to Madden almost identical arms lower body feet the whole n now as far as shoes and The Branding you uh Colorado has a deal with Nike so you can only pick from Nike shoes uh but what you also might notice is that you cannot change anything about Travis Hunter's face skin color hair anything like that everything has to exactly him now for non n players you have a lot more freedom it's not complete freedom but you do have a lot more freedom only other only issue with this is that most players in the game are nil players so just for you know I I what I did was I scrolled off to the bottom here right and there's a fella Eli tongue here so I'm pretty sure this fow does not exist uh so he's a you know a non-nil player and you can edit a lot of stuff with him you can change his first name second name you can take him you can make him Eli cheeks chin Nose Lips Eli whatever you want to change his last name too um you can also change his position if you want to make him anything else you want to do you can do that canot change his team his number his handedness his hometown or his state but when it comes to ratings you can alter all of these can anything here you can change okay for attributes you can change almost everything the only thing you can change for whatever reason is the over the top you know the uh the quarterback throw style for what whatever reason you can't change that I'm not sure why but you can change everything else here when it comes to apparel you have the exact same options to change for uh non nil players that you have for nil players but there's a new tab that pops in and this is if you'll notice this is similar to Madden there's some players you can um you can adjust their appearance others you cannot for non nil players you can adjust their appearance to a degree you can change his height you can make Eli as tall as 7et when who he go up to 7 feet tall he is goes into the upside down up here in the dark space this is I don't know what little UI thing they did there by putting that up there but yeah you can take him all the way up there the 7 ft I think the shortest is the 55 you can adjust his weight um you know what I didn't check to see is do that does their body physically J it does you get a little pudgy when you make him forite that does not look like 61400 lb but you get it they changed some of it um I always wanted a game to actually you know represent that weight gain more clearly you know what I'm saying like that that he got bigger but that ain't 400 lb that's not what 6400 lb would look like uh but arm size you can adjust that rear size thighs as well what you may notice here that you cannot change is you cannot change his actual face or his skin color so if you are trying to like create a specific person you're going to have to find somebody that kind of looks like that person so say for instance if you were trying to create Russell Wilson or somebody Eli tongue might be your guy he might be your canvas that you want to use as a jump off cuz he kind of got that going on but that is one of your one of the restrictions that you're going to have now so now let's look into how many of these uh players are actual inil and how many of them aren't I didn't go through this whole roster for Colorado but I I thought that they might be a decent kind of um school to look at for to get an idea of what that distribution would be like so Eli Tong is an nil player this fell here Caleb mathys I should say Eli tongue is a non n player Caleb matys with the tri XX uh ey black under one eye is a nil player that's why you can't change anything on here about him uh one of the biggest things biggest ways you can tell as soon as you turn it on if you click here and here here we got uh my man's name is Ted warbles I almost feel like Ted warbles is a real play person cuz Ted warbles is a heck of a a generated name but then again Ted I don't know how many teenagers or young adults are are in the world named Ted I think they kind of stopped naming babies Ted or anything that would spin out to Ted a long time ago I don't know how you look at a baby and say his name's going to be Ted um maybe Theodore if his daddy's name was Theodore but Ted is a different thing but one of the best ways you can immediately tell is if they have the appearance um option if you go into a player and they have the appearance option they are a non nil player and you'll have more editing options so Kiron uh Garcia it's a very interesting brother is not uh is a is a non nil player uh let's see this fella here namir Robinson is a uh nil player um who do we have here uh Malachi Murphy also uh I know that Charlie offal is because I believe like his dad is Jeff arll or Jim arll um yep he is an nil player as well can't edit him JN TZ Holland I would have thought that jont TZ would be a nil player but he is not uh so I don't it just they did a good job like with mixing up some of these looks though I'm going to be honest because CU I ain't never seen nobody look like jont TZ before in my life cash Cleveland cash Cleveland is definitely an ni I heard of him before um he got on Capri so it's one thing you can think about with him both Simmons lepina I'm sure he is an ni player so I think you kind of get an idea of what I'm saying here um they are there are some people uh most of the players on the team and I think this is kind of the case for all of the teams most of the players here this guy is a non n player so you can edit him uh but like just you know let's take a look at a smaller School smaller program let's like go to maybe you'll see more nonn players on a smaller school we going to go like Kenn ofof State we got Donovan West Morland is their best player he's a 79 well another guy on the team from 79 as well but Donovan is a nil player you cannot mess around with Don uh let's see let's just go Midway down let's go to like Jamar rucks he definitely seems like he's an nil what is he Jamar rxs is so you can see we talking about kenol State and we got a bunch of n players so what does this say you're not going to be able to edit a lot that's pretty much what you just got to take Kari Gordon you're not you're not you're not going to be able to edit a lot just so you know so the real the real potential Saving Grace here with this and it's not going to save it all so you might as well just get that out of your mind is when the team builder app is up you know as of me doing this video uh it was not up yet I believe it is going to be up and fully functional on July 19th for the worldwide launch but until that's up you're not going to have like more freedom on players that you can create and stuff like that but there is a cap on the amount of players or I'm sorry the amount of schools that you can create in team builder for one Dynasty at a time so what does that say that means that the days of revamping your entire college football roster are over with that's done can't do that no more all right so um that's going to be something that going to be an adjustment for some of the people who like to do like and I was one of those people would like to if I didn't do the whole roster I was definitely trying to find somebody that did so that I could download it I mean I remember back in the day they had these little I can't remember what this little machine was called but you could like send somebody your memory card and they could put the roster on there for you then I think was called a DEX drive or something like that and I mean it was Big Time stuff but it was basically so that you could transfer rosters from what somebody else created this is before they came up with roster share so I definitely have always loved that option to be able to redo the entire but you're not going to be able to do that in uh college football 25 uh what I think is going to probably happen with some people who really really want to do that what they're going to probably do is maybe Advance their Seasons up so far to the point where there are no more nil players that are on your roster so at least four years oh I'm sorry at least three years cuz you know in case people were like leaving early you could Advance it up all the way that far and you basically don't start your whole thing until you know your third or fourth season and if you did that then now you would have the ability to edit every roster edit every um edit edit every player now in terms of sharing the rosters and stuff like that you still might have a issue like so I'm going to go out and show you like where it looks like where looks where you can see the what you can do you can download Center here I don't know if they have any rosters all the way up they don't even have that they have schools that you can download um playbooks sliders my sharings which I so there is no there is really no roster sharing here guys and that I think that's that's going to hurt some folks feelings is what that is I just unless I'm missing something there's no actual roster sharing and I think that's the biggest pop right there so people going to have to do all this work themselves in order to um to get this done I mean I guess if you I think if you download the schools I think they're still going to register as a team uh as a team Builder school and so that would probably take one of your team Builder slots for your Dynasty so I don't know peeps I think that this might be just what we got right now so um the game is still phenomenal just so you know um but yeah this is a limitation I think a lot of people are going to have to drink and it is what it is but that's all I got for you guys today
