the great news when Canada put out the statement saying that um Katherine the Princess of Wales treatment for cancer had ended and then they put out this brilliant video one of the best videos I've ever seen the royal family you lead the way as the summer comes to an end I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment the last 9 months have been incredibly tough for us as a family life as you know it can change in an instant and we've had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and Road unknown beat even the one in 1967 what the queen did at Bal Morrow with the royal family which was kind of orbit acting but this was just pure love the family just joyous at the news that their mother was free of this Dreadful disease William and I are so grateful for the support we've received and have drawn great strength from all those for are helping us at this time everyone's kindness empathy and compassion has been truly humbling and of course the pictures of William and and Katherine lying in the in the sand and on the beach which I suspect is the beach at hul near their nor home and the sandunes and the children just playing cards and and squabbling and fighting like kids do when they play cards and and but everything was smiles smiles smiles and and of course this is um good new new is not just for them I mean you know obviously when you when you get it doesn't discriminate cancer whether you're a king or a queen or if you're in fact the king got cancer uh it's um or or a POA you know it's a lottery and if you get it you family suffers with you and they've been suffering as well and of course you know it's um it's it's no secret that when you get good news that the Cancer's gone or it's in remission wow what relief that is and and you start to live your life again and this is what's happening of course you know William being very careful that um Katherine doesn't rush back too soon because you know this the royal family don't retire they'll be doing engagements when they're 80 uh as the queen mother did and and late Queen did and so you know it's better she gets really Fit and Well and back back to action sometimes perhaps later this year and then the new year I thought well I think she might be going to do the Remembrance Day service which is it's pretty impressive it's not a lot of effort for her but it'd be nice to see her there and so um as I say this video was just sparkling and uh 3 minutes I wish it was I wish it was 23 minutes it just rushed by but I was um I was so pleased to see it anyway because it's you know having lost some of my family members to cancer I know what a terrible illness it is and what what the results can be but although you know positive news 2third of cancers are cured if you catch a m and they certainly did catch him early catch it early with Catherine I hope our King gets the same good news pretty soon too because he's been getting treatment and still getting treatment I'm told so hopefully it'll uh he'll get the same good news as as as the [Music] princess you get your to all those who are continuing their own cancer journey I remain with you side by side hand in hand out of Darkness can come light so let that light shine bright she wish well to others suffering from cancer and she said she she's she feels for them and she's with them and she um and she hopes obviously they get the same result as her but um you know with winter coming and um and the dark days coming this is such great news such to brighten up all our lives not only here but around the world people were delighted to uh see this wonderful video of this lovely princess finally out of the woods and on the way to back to work so well done Katherine I'm so please for you
