[Applause] take [Music] so reding a crap didn't know what we were so afraid of to be honest everyone was saying that Ren are a um a team that we should be looking out for uh right hang on aide where's you Dad [Music] with [Music] me Ryan's left me with the phone because he always does the talking so uh we've lost Ryan's dad so 3 n um again none of us got our predictions right but I'm um but I'm glad I was wrong because I it was it's nice to Come Away with a clean sheet I thought everybody was exceptional today I thought everyone did really really well um I think it was a bit of a difficult one to choose a man of the match because everybody just played amazingly um oh thanks Alfie Alfie standing right next to me and he's just put the city one no one cares the Rex and podcast so yeah the atmosphere was amazing um again we are I see I'm rubbish at this sort of thing I don't really know what to say um except that we played amazingly well um and I just I don't think you can fault anyone today you know mle Palmer it was really good to see Mullen back on the pitch um I'm going to pass you over to Ryan now cuz I think I'm talking crap I hate you by the way why cuz you did that on purpose [Music] what I don't know we've lost everyone uh look good game good game decent um they said uh League one was a big step up in class is it he's it no I mean look it was decent performance we looked in control look red didn't looked technically good to be fair uh I was a little bit worried that second half they were going to come out um and you know we were going to maybe struggle a little bit perhaps um that you know they were going to step it up um didn't happen didn't happen at all look they they continue to press and try to make chances um but didn't really I mean they had one or two they hit the bar um and but all in all I I think it was quite comfortable if I'm perfectly honest um if I was I always try and flip it round as that if I was the away fan today how would I feel about that performance I'd be I wouldn't be happy at all if that was my team comeing here putting on that performance um you know I'd be yeah I just wouldn't be pleased at all you know coming all that way putting in that performance you like yeah all right you hit the bar twice was it h the bar the first half H the bar in the second half I mean but sort of points in the game where you sort of go all right if the first one would have gone in you s of go yeah all right you're back in the game but the second one was literally right at the end of the game and it was just nothing you know so look I'm really happy happy to see Paul back um yeah it really made me smile I I I wasn't really sure whether he was going to come back on or not um you know it it was a strange one really it was you know when you're at that position you sort of go do you leave him on the bench and you know give him another week of training but I think it was probably the right call bring him on um give him some match minutes um and then you know see where you go from there but I would not be surprised if you see him starting a pizza bre it's absolutely heav here heav um I think we lost people have we lost people go there that's that's where okay let's move on right let's have a look at some of the comments what we got uh okay we're going to skip the first one what do you mean uh okay so we've got Sarah that was fantastic it really was uh John Wells uh great results um how did moles look I don't I don't know he looks he looks good looks fit ready to go I think if I'm honest um we got Ben what a game everyone did uh great and ready didn't had no idea what to do with us they they really didn't I think technically they look good readed in um although I'm just not sure they knew how how to play us um you know I think I don't know it just looked really poor from then if I'm honest I think you know they had they probably if you're looking at it on paper um probably probably probably the a bit of I don't know it's hard to say but on paper they they had it to beat us but they didn't really show it I don't think um Sarah uh I didn't think uh it was so much about reding being crap uh more like Rex uh was outstanding sorry if I'm really slow reading the comments I've got to 42 and my eyes have just gone I I'm really struggling now that's what Shan's here for and Shan I've lost Shan completely uh solid win against a decent team um just makes me sound really stupid cuz I'm reading it so slow uh the Rex and performance uh was every manager's dream yeah look I I agree I think it was solid we're in control from right from the start I think we were you know I don't think there was ever a point when I thought ooh they're coming back into it or they're in control or anything like that do you see the message about the ball that I I'm not reading your messages um okay where have we got shopshire paranormal and UFO network was a quality performance from rexam against a side that hasn't lost before this game I think that's a fair point you know they pay they played uh Birmingham first game of the season got a draw they I think they were probably unlucky not to win that one to be honest it's slightly dubious uh penalty bmam got um so yeah I think you know a team unbeaten team although we're early in the season it's still an unbeaten team that's come here um so I'm really happy with that um Peter uh also love to see Arthur worked on crosses yeah I think Peter I I'll agree with you on that one we're going to talk about that I think a little bit more on Monday uh in the sense of look Arthur think he's great but as a young keeper I think you always want to see a young keeper worked on crosses a little bit more um so yeah I agree with that one um tell them about the ball just tell him tell him about the ball tell him my dad caught the ball at one point during the game and he made an absolute hash of it the ball came to him he went to catch it he missed it and then he went to thr it he no he went to throw it on the pitch and he hit the barrier on the side just all quite embarrassing to be honest uh Marie fantastic result happy day ruby slippers what a great day um setting the tone for the week ahead yes definitely a Drew clean sheet clean sheet Drew yes can we wait that is my motto clean sheet shall we wait for them I don't know where they are mate they are clean sheet is the motto of the podcast 100% uh Chris uh talk about a different start to this season compared to last uh looking like a uh looking like playoff to me why playoff why just settle for playoffs you in the the final game of the season you know why just settle for the playoffs I think we've got it in us to do something big this season I think um Michael hilia where's Sean you left it thought always good to look different I do you know what I noticed that when they came out um at the beginning of the game I thought he had one of those shirts that you wear underneath your T-shirt but it was a long SLE long sleeved one apparently we're going to have to watch the highlights later to see that but yeah I liked it good for the winter I don't know I don't know I didn't think they
