Browns out in Bria getting ready for that preseason opener Saturday against the Green Bay Packers Browns on the P practice field uh actually just wrapped up practice miles Garrett having a little fun uh fans available one of the six practices open to the public so Miles playing a little catch with some of the fans um and uh the throwback not a great one miles has to go and get involved in the drills uh Deontay Foreman good sign uh back on the practice field going through drills after that scare um out at the green Brower a couple days ago take a look at this miles Garrett and Michael Hall that's to see who gets off the ball quicker it's rule day Thai that's how quick Michael Hall Jr is jamus Winston will get the start in that preseason opener going through some drills we'll hear from him a little bit later in the show as he got uh some of the reps with the number ones so um he can get ready for that preseason opener jamus uh did give up some of the rep to Deshawn Watson scrambling around there and he finds Elijah Moore so even though Watson not going to play in that opener he did get some reps with the ones today as well Browns getting ready for that preseason opener Saturday against pckers head coach Kevin stefansky about what he wants to see uh against Green Bay well they're keeping score so you want to win uh that's important uh you know it's an opportunity for our guys to compete and as you know that's that's a core tenant of who we are so regardless of who's out there we expect to compete and uh the nice part obviously in those games we'll get some different situations and different settings uh it'll be live so we it's it's tackling to the ground uh so that's something that you continue to emphasize with your guys and and I know it's not going to be perfect in game one we don't expect it to be but I think just the sheer competition of it all is what we're most excited about it's welcome in Casey kinman from the Orange and Brown Report all eyes on Cleveland podcast as well as the Barking Browns podcast Casey we'll talk uh more about the preseason game um a little bit later it's good to see Deontay Foreman back um and and you know what jamus Winston has looked pretty good he's kind of overlooked because everybody's worried uh and rightfully so about Deshawn Watson jamus Winston's look pretty good yeah and that's why you bring him in though you bring a professional who's gonna be ready at the drop of a dime and work hard and practice push people uh be a glue guy like everything you bring jamus Winston in for you know is is evident every time he gets in front of a microphone he's he's a leader and he's someone who's uh gels everyone together and you never have to question his work ethic yeah the other thing is um you want to make sure everybody gets out of this healthy that that's probably the first thing and and they will be um cautious about the starters that they play those 10 to 12 snaps yeah it'll be interesting to see who who actually gets the Reps out there with the first team when they go out there on Saturday uh health is the priority first and foremost secondary I think you look at the uh operationally you know just from the efficiency of the coaches getting the plays in getting in and out of the Huddle getting to the line in time for your checks uh defensive communication on the back end uh that that's just all the Kinks you're working out these are dry rehearsals and this is how you get it worked out in the preseason
