Uh, I know everybody waits on pins and needles for the, uh, 14 day part of the forecast. And I think you're really gonna like that when it comes up here in a second because I have some of the coolest morning temps that we've seen since the early part of June. But after the 14 day forecast, I have something else that I, that we need everybody else that we need everybody to help out with at home. So make sure to stay tuned for that coming up here in about 3.5 minutes or maybe less than that because we've been talking a little bit. You t and Denton 89 degrees cloud cover overhead. No rain falling on the campus of UN T and Denton. No rain falling on the campus of Dallas Baptist University where it's 88 degrees. No rain also fell at DFW Airport today, but it did yesterday from some of those showers and storms that are out there in the DFW area yesterday evening and into. Yes. Uh, and into last night, 90 was the high today with the cloud cover out there, kept us below normal. It's September, but the normal high is 92. We're a little warmer than normal this morning with a low of 76 and that normal low is 73. There's the rain out there at the moment, mainly across western North Texas where it's been pretty much all day long. Little scattered activity down in, uh, southern areas more so in central Texas, some of that can try and sneak up into southern portions of North Texas over the next couple of hours. But basically from DFW to the east, most of you are gonna stay dry through the evening. It will continue to remain wet across western North Texas though. But late tonight and tomorrow morning, another round of rain may try and move up into once again western North Texas, but some of that could sneak into DFW around daybreak tomorrow, seven o'clock in the morning. I know that's when kiddos are head back to school, your head back to work could be a little wet to start the day tomorrow. About a 60% coverage across the area that round of rain will kind of fizzle out as we head throughout the day. And the trend will be for the coverage to decrease during the day tomorrow. So by tomorrow evening, it's just some spotty, just scattered rain out there during the day. I don't expect the day to be a complete wash out and then it's gonna rain all day long everywhere. But some of you could start off the morning with rain and then that coverage just kind of decreases as we head through the day tomorrow when it's all said and done. I mean, it, it's already been pretty rainy across western areas and picked up 1 to 2 plus inches in those areas. Another half an inch to two inches possible for DFW. It's 1/10 to maybe a quarter of an inch possible tonight, muggy and seasonable. 73 for your low, about a 60% coverage, 50% coverage tomorrow. A cloudy and cooler day with a high of 8386 Wednesday, 89 Thursday briefly up to 90 on Friday and then I have eighties this upcoming weekend and also starting on Sunday and then in a Monday and Tuesday of next week morning lows in the sixties, which will be the coolest mornings that we've seen since the early part of June. The bad news is though, you see those temps starting to creep back up and it's also a reminder that, uh, September can still be pretty warm with some nineties returning there, uh, for the second seven of that 14 day forecast.
