Aon thank you it's one of the largest 911 gatherings in our region remembering lives lost that day 23 years ago but doing so with a bit of history in attendance kimt news 3's Brandon box doller takes us to Clear [Applause] Lake we've just come together to honor uh those that lost their lives the day of September 11th and a way to just pay tribute to the sacrifices that they made and never forget um that's our whole Mantra is that we just want to carry on um that story and make sure that you know future Generations understand uh those sacrifices and and what happened from [Music] the to the the people that ran towards it they knew they had a job to do and you know they took that oath to protect and serve and and they held up that for sure uh their end of the bargain and paid that ultimate sacrifice and very honorable and respectful thing too I saw the second plane come in off the bay and hit the top of the second tower what is it like being involved in such uh an important uh event well for those of us that live through it you know it's it's a very special way to honors honor those that day um that gave their lives and we just want to make sure that you know people never forget and just the fact that you know we feel like since we have the steel here and a good way way for us to honor them and we take pride in that and uh just making sure that you know people really get a a true understanding of what it's like to serve in any capacity and in any way and time to reflect they weren't just attacking those places they were attacking the heart and soul of our country know the Call Comes in we just get in in respond and knowing that each call is a little different and we just got to rely on our training and and keep each other safe at the end of the day you know we took that out to protect our community and serve our community as best we can people can see it and touch it and see it and remember because they truly want us to never forget what's happened what happened on September 11th Captain Johnson who was the guest speaker tonight was working in the Pentagon on the morning of September 11th 2001
