[Music] wow hi hey if you're watching this right now that means that you and I have two things in common we're friends and fans of wink marale wink is a delightful guy what a treasure and it's so great to have something that I worked on be in his Treasure Chest dur in his hidden Trove of marvelous little TV tidbits this is a show I worked on a long time ago my name is Mark Maxwell Smith I've had the great pleasure and honor to with some marvelous individuals including wink and this is a show I did long before I met wink the show's called mouth TR but you'll see that and we had some wonderful people on the show who were on the actual pilot who were celebrities but as you know long before you do the actual pilot people in the business want to do practice and practice and practice and practice so the only person on this tape whom you'll see who is identified with his own name is our host Ronnie shell very talented man and I'm happy we had him but we also had some other very talented people Jimmy Bullock is introduced to Salen seus and Mark sum I think Mark has his own name cuz he's playing a contestant long before either one of them reached the fame and marvelous accolades that they later achieved there's a couple other people on that as well and uh two of them at least were friends Sally Julian and The Marvelous Elaine Welton Hill unfortunately we lost Sally and uh elain just a little to zoom and on top of that Judith is another one whom you'll see on the pilot all of those performers did in many ways almost a better job than our celebrities only because there was no pressure they were doing it for fun and for the few dollars they were earning as unknown and yet unrecognized performance they went on to sparkling careers each one of them achieving so much but in the meantime they worked with us to help create the fun to give Ronnie some practice to give our director some practice and everybody on the staff some practice my hope is that you'll enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it I wish I had the actual pilot for you I never got a chance to have a copy of that but I did have a chance to hold on to and cherish this whole movie as it were of some very very talented individuals whom you will see in the very early early parts of their career I got to say thank you wi Martell for preserving not only this show but for so many other shows and for making these shows available to people like you who are so interested in the game show genre if you like this show you're among a minority because it didn't sell in this country but it was one of my early early baby steps in the television business and I was fortunate enough to go on and enjoy enjy not only the Friendship of Mark and Jimmy and Sally and Elaine but to have a career that enabled me to buy shirts such as this that I'm wearing right now who else would wear a shirt like this except the guy who no longer is making game shows enjoy the show thank you wink for being a wonderful archist I think archist is how you say it or game show tape collector we don't have tapes anymore do we we'll have to see the difference as no it's not CD it's MP3 no it's it's a DMV
