message and uh and the third thing is when which by the way is what Donald Trump uses them for I mean there for him they are opportunities to burnish M it doesn't matter what questions you're asking him he he will answer whatever his collateral damage along the way but he yes he views he does not shy uh away from them and I think Rock in the building what's up uncompetitive that's part of the test of R we're just going to take a look we're going to review can't just do one thing every time you do something well and she's done everything very wellie starts I will not you have to keep clearing the bar obviously the debate is one of the biggest bars and uh that's coming up I'm almost interested in what she says about Biden I don't I mean to me her answering for this Administration the one that she's in the one that she cast votes up in the Senate to promote its agenda that is number one and number two I'm wondering if she has any comments about when she knew Joe Biden was on a downhill decline because we didn't find that out until late but I suspect she may have known it sooner I think that that Donald Trump does this thing of she's weak and then when she proves proves herself she's nasty and so there's this really fine line that women candidates unfortunately have to walk and I think she's done it really well to date yeah everyone thank you appreciate the Democratic Presidential nominee kamla Harris and Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walls hello Hi how are you tonight the new Democratic ticket in their first interview hi hi crew in the final Sprint to election day 1 2 three their top priorities for the country what would you do on day one in the white house the tough questions on their records the steps that you're talking about now why haven't you done them already what do you say to voters who aren't sure whether they can take you at your word taking on Donald Trump people might be surprised to hear that you have never never interacted with him met him face to face that fateful phone call from Joe Biden I'll give you a little too much information and their take on those viral convention images it's very humbling it's very humbling in many ways I don't know as a father I could have ever imagined that with just days until early voting begins a defining moment in the race for the White House CNN's exclusive interview Starts Now chear to everybody good evening we're live from Savannah Georgia I'm Dana Bash and this is a state very much up for grabs in between a whirlwind series of stops I sat down with the Democratic candidate for president and her running made today at Kim's Cafe here in Savannah inside nothing was off the table and you will see our interview in its entirety the vice president's first as her party's standard Bearer responding to her critics and answering our questions welcome on board thank you it's good to see you this is not where vice president Harris thought she would be we're going to Georgia yes seventh trip there this year for me a surprise nominee for president just months from election day set in motion after a stunning debate look if we finally beat Medicare some within your own party are wondering if President Biden should even step aside what do you say to that there was a slow start but it was a strong finish and then an extraordinary decision I've decided the best way forward is the pass the torch to a new generation Philadelphia what usually takes years of planning coming together in a matter of weeks wall after a historic nomination at the convention in Chicago on behalf of everyone whose story could only be written in the greatest nation on Earth I accept your nomination to be president of the United States of America Harris walls ticket is now pushing forward with the shortest presidential campaign in modern history what did you hear from voters here people are very optimistic We join them on the trail as they visited the battleground of Georgia just 68 days from the [Music] [Applause] election mam vice president governor Wells thank you so much for sitting down with me and bringing the bus bus store is well underway here in Georgia you have less time to make your case to voters than any candidate in modern American history the voters are really eager to hear what your plans are if you are elected what would you do on day one in the white house well there are a number of things I will tell you first and foremost one of my highest priorities is to do what we can to support and strengthen the middle class um when I look at the aspirations the goals the Ambitions of the American people I think that um people are ready for a new way forward um in a way that generations of Americans have been fueled by by hope and by optimism I think sadly in the last decade um we have had in the former president someone who is really been pushing an agenda and an environment that is about diminishing um the character and the strength of who we are as Americans uh really dividing our nation and I think people are ready to turn the page on that so what would you do day one day one it's going to be about one implementing my plan for what I call an opportunity economy I've already laid out a number of um proposals in that regard which include what we're going to do to bring down um the cost of everyday Goods what we're going to do to invest in America's small businesses what we're going to do to invest in families for example extending the child tax credit to $6,000 e e e e e e e e e e so if y'all are listening to it we may have to listen to it in another window and then we'll just react on here I'm still trying to pull it up though that is very significant to the American people and to our security which is the Border and through bipartisan work including some of the most conservative members of the United States Congress a bill was crafted which we supported which I support and Donald Trump got word of this bill that would contributed to securing our border and because he believes that it would not have helped him politically he told his folks in Congress Don't Put It Forward he killed the bill a border security bill that would have put 1,500 more agents on the border and let me tell you something the border patrol endorsed the bill and I'm sure and I'm sure in large part because they knew they were working around the clock and 1,500 more agents would help them that bill would have allowed us should voters look at some of the changes that you've made uh explain some of here in your policy is it because you have more experience now and you've learned more about the information is it because you were running for president in a Democratic primary and should they feel comfortable and confident that what you're saying now is going to be your policy moving forward Dana I think the the the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed you mentioned the green New Deal I have always believed and I have worked on it that the climate crisis is real that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time we did that with the inflation reduction act we have set goals for the United States of America and by extension the globe around when we should meet certain standards for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions as an example that value has not changed my value around what we need to do to secure our border that value has not changed I spent two terms as the Attorney General of California Prosecuting transnational criminal organizations violations of American laws regarding the passage illegal passage of guns drugs and human beings across our border my values have not changed so that is the reality of it and four years of being vice president I'll tell you one of the the the aspects to your point is traveling the country extensively I mean I'm here in Georgia I think somebody told me 17 times since I've been vice president in Georgia alone I believe it is important to build consensus and it is important to to to find a common place of understanding of where we can actually solve problems on that note you had a lot of Republican speakers at the convention will you appoint a republican to your cabinet yes I would anyone in mind I would no one no one in particular in mine I got a we got 68 days to go with this election so I'm not putting the cart before the horse but I would I think I think it's really important I I have spent my career inviting diversity of opinion I think it's important to have people at the table when some of the most important decisions are being made that have different views different experiences and I think um it would be to the benefit of the American public to have a member of my cabinet who was a republican that was just the start of our wide- ranging conversation and we have some never before shared details about the phone call that changed everything between President Joe Biden and vice president kamla Harris I'm just curious staying on President Biden when he called you and said he was pulling out of the race what was that like and did he offer to endorse you right away or did you ask for it it was um it was a Sunday so here I'll I'll give you a little too much information go for it there's no such thing Adam vice president and her running I asked him about some of the controversies that have sprung up since Harris put him on the ticket Governor WS the uh country is just starting to get to know you I want to ask uh you a question about how you've described your service in the National Guard you said that you carried weapons in War but you have never deployed actually in a war zone a campaign official said that you misspoke did you hold it hold it don't think I can hold it bladder Leake so what y'all thinking what y'all thinking so far yo did she come across y'all tell me did she come across like phony does she come across like honestly it's so awkward just watching it like Tim Waltz just looks so emasculated sitting there um hopefully we have any more interruptions um I don't know what they had going on I think I had to sign into my um cable uh it is what it is um I'm going to read a couple of the comments it says Democrats kept the southern all right so let me read a couple of these comments uh Democrats kept the southern border open to let millions of illegal immigrants into the US so they could vote in 2024 that is why they opposed the save act which requires proof for citizenship to vote yo I actually should show y'all this hold on I'm about to show y'all something something oh my God all right I got to show y'all this while we're while we're on the break so somebody everybody make sure that they're paying attention let me show y'all this this is what my buddy sent me the other day regarding this exact issue hold on x.com hold on let me go to my ex real quick bookmarks yo take a look at this hold on let me share the screen real quick I'll make sure that we're paying attention um hold on this is crazy listen to this crazy crazy do you think it suppresses have an opinion on voter ID laws uh yeah they're usually pretty racist and they're bad I think voter ID laws are a way to perpetuate racism would you say they're would you go as far to say those laws are racist for sure do you think it suppresses the africanamerican V definitely uh because they're less likely to have state IDs minority voters are less likely to so I'm getting ready to fast forward it described or requ we won't be able to watch the whole thing live in areas with easy access to yo how racist is this bro like are all black people like just living in poverty like do do yeah I'm G ask a real question I I don't think it's intentional but a lot of these I think because there's so much victim victimhood that a lot of white liberals who actually feel like they're doing the right thing and saying some of these things where it's like yeah you know black people they have no money so this is not right this is not fair don't even realize that they're actually the ones being racist DMVs or other places where they can get identification you can always get IDs um you do over the Internet is that also make it difficult for for black people in particular yeah you have to have access to the internet you have to be able to black people don't have the internet all right so I'm getting ready to fast forward because I want to show yall some of the black people there yeah do you have a problem getting there if you have to get there no it's where the ID the DMV is around you it's on 125th Street in Third Avenue I believe you know how to get there yeah would you have a problem getting there if you have to get there no it's I know these sound like silly questions you know how to get the MV you know where it is you can get there no problem no problem just checking okay and I also heard a lot that black people especially poor black people have no access to the internet can't figure out how to use the internet that's that's a that's just stupid honestly everybody has access to the internet even a little kid can figure out how to work the internet I had access to the internet for years you know how to use it properly right exactly I do it at work so of course I know how to use it my kids know how to use it they all have iPads iPods whatever your phone has data M you can ACC United unlimited data I use my phone as a Hotpot what does that say to you for the people who have this perception of black um uh they pretty much ignorant that that's why my thought process are are think that's ignorant ignorant ignorant that's the word ignorant ignorant very very ignorant does it sound racist for somebody to say that I I think it is a little racist because you know you're putting um people in a category and you have no idea what you're talking about maybe a little bit of racist in it but like I said I think it's more stupidity and ignorance judging somebody like but you judging them cuz they black saying that they don't got it what people are they talking to what are who are these people talking to do you have a problem that if you go to vote and they say pleas please see your ID to make sure you are who you say you are you love showing my ID you have no problem with that nope would you have a problem if when you go to vote if they say could we please just see your ID to make sure you are who say you are do you have an issue with that no would you have a problem if there was a rule where you have to show your ID in order to vote I don't think so no would you have an issue if there was a rule saying you got to show your ID have to choose from the the scripted questions and then obviously asked Biden so I the the fact that let's be real and and I don't think we need to sugarcoat it but let's be real kamla asked for she she's up there acting as if Donald Trump is scared to debate her but she's also the same person that asked to have notes in a debate she asked to sit down and have notes in a debate that from from my understanding that is insane it is insane like it's almost as if she doesn't realize that she's actually in the White House like if anybody needs notes it should be Trump he's not doing that on a day-to- day KLA should be able to just come in be able to talk understand but she does not understand policies it just is what it is as a black person I'm sitting here saying that KLA Harris was a Dei hire let's just be real this is why I hate Dei because you end up having people that don't qualify for positions and they make other people that look like that person look bad she makes I'm being just Democratic presidential and vice presidential nominees vice president kamla Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walls it's hard to believe it was just 39 days ago President Biden shocked the world via tweet that's how we found out he was dropping his reelection bid but before he tweeted the news Biden called his vice president and for the first time we are hearing about that phone call and exactly what kamla Harris was doing when she answered but we started this discussion with the moment that set all of this in motion CNN's presidential debate and whether President Biden was strong enough to lead this nation again vice president Harris you were a very staunch defender of President Biden's capacity to serve another four years right after the debate you insisted that President Biden is extraordinarily strong given where we are now do you have any regrets about what you told the American people no not at all not at all I have um served with President Biden um for almost four years now and I'll tell you it's one of the greatest honors of my career truly um he cares so deeply about the American people he is so smart and um and loyal to the American people and I have spent hours upon hours with him be it in the Oval Office or The Situation Room he has the intelligence the commitment and the Judgment um and disposition that I think the American people rightly deserve in their president by contrast the former president has none of that and so um one I I I am so proud to have served as vice president to Joe Biden and two I am so proud to be running with Tim Walls for president of the United States and to bring America what I believe the American people deserve which is a new way forward and turn the page on the last decade of what I believe has been um contrary to where the spirit of our country really lies but the last decade of of course the last three and a half years has been part of your Administration I'm talking about an era that started about a decade ago where there is some suggestion warped I believe it to be that the measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you beat down instead of where I believe most Americans are which is to believe that the true measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you lift up that's what's at stake as much as any other detail that we could discuss in this election um because we haven't had a chance to to talk I'm just curious saying on President Biden when he called you and said he was pulling out of the race what was that like and did he offer to endorse you right away or did you ask for it it was um it was a Sunday so here I'll I'll give you a little too much information go for it there's no such thing Adam vice president um my family was staying with us and um including my baby nieces and we had just had pancakes and you know Auntie can I have more bacon yes I'll make you more bacon and then we were going to S we were sitting down to to do a puzzle and the phone rang and it was Joe Biden and um and he told me what he had decided to do and [Music] um I asked are you sure and he said yes and um and that's how I learned about it and what about the endorsement did you ask for it and he was very clear that he was going to support me so when he called to tell you he said I'm pulling out of the race and I'm going to support you well my first thought was not about me to be honest with you my first thought was about him to be honest um I think history is is going to show a number of things about Joe Biden's presidency I think history is going to show that in so many ways it was transformative be it on what we have accomplished around finally investing in America's infrastructure investing in new economies in new Industries what we have done to bring our allies back together and have confidence in who we are as America and grow that Alliance what we have done to stand and true to our principles um including the the one of the most important International rules and Norms which is the importance of sovereignty and territorial integrity and I think history is going to show not only has Joe Biden LED an Administration that has achieved those extraordinary successes but the character of the man is one that he has been in his life and career including as a president quite selfless and puts the American people first a passionate defense of the man who chose her to be his running mate four years ago four years later Harris made a choice of her own and with Governor Wall's rise to National prominence a star was born at the convention Gus walls we'll hear about that moment between Father and Son and the woman who could make history in the Oval Office on this iconic photo Madam vice president the photograph that has gone viral you were speaking one of your grand nieces that you were just talking about was watching you accept the nomination you didn't explicitly talk about gender or race in your speech but it obviously means a lot to a lot of people and that Viral picture really says it what does it mean to you sometimes Jonah wrestles with falling asleep so he takes Z equil the world's number one the gender and race really gets me my fault I was on mute but it's like everything's about gender identity politics like I don't know about y'all but I'm just sick of it like it doesn't work I was one of these people that voted for Barack because he was black that was racist it was racist for me to do that just straight up it was racist it was ignorant I was in college I didn't know any better I didn't know any better matter of fact I was now now that I'm looking at it I'm looking at my parents I'm looking at my family I'm looking at my friends I'm looking at my community and just saying like yo how could y'all go along with this you just do something we just supported somebody because they're black but then we complain about people not supporting us just because we're black make it make sense so we're allowed to do things and bring we're allowed to support people just because they're black but if the white man does it then it's racist I don't know I don't know hopefully I'm not giving y'all too much hopefully I'm not turning y'all off but these are just the thoughts that go through my head these are just the thoughts that go through my head but I guess if I got the second most important job in America as vice president simply because of my race and my gender I guess I would talk about it a lot too I don't know I don't know I don't know trying to bore y'all with uh I should have had a couple Clips matter of fact all right so this is my first time doing this uh as far as like doing the review at the same time but what I should have done for the next time I'm going to make sure that I have a couple videos funny videos to show y'all in between um show my own commercials but how are y'all feeling so far let me ask y'all this do do you is there anything that she can do this is why I ask people you know who's kind of undecided is there anything that she can do for the people that aren't supporting Kamala like are not on board not saying that you're supporting Trump not saying that you're supporting RFK I don't know who you're supporting but for the people that are not sold on kamla is there anything that she can say to win your vote and I guess I would ask the same question regarding Trump is there anything if you are not a trump supporter if you did not vote for Trump last election if you're still not sure who you're going to vote for is there anything that he can do to win your vote because this seems like one of those elections where people you know we'll we'll listen to the debates we'll listen to the interviews we'll listen to the press conferences but everyone seems to just be already setting their ways and not budging all right so let's see Howard what's up Howard um it's racist to vote for Barack Obama because he was black what was racist and I heard it was white folks that wouldn't vote for Obama because he was black how that's the point they're both racist that's the whole point so me as a person I'm acknowledging the role that I played in that if I decide to vote for somebody simply because they're black or if I decide to not let's say vote for somebody simply because of the color their skin it's racist in my book but let's get back to the to the show Harris and her running mate who was supposed to be if you listened to some experts a big name a prominent leader from a swing state Pennsylvania or Arizona but it is a little known guy outside of his home state where Minnesota knce is a source of Pride but behind all of that folksy humor and flannel Tim Walls is far from just being Mr Nice Guy when it comes to needling Donald Trump Governor you obviously have spoken to voters all over your state for years what are you learning in a place like Georgia we're seeing explosion in small business growth the one thing is is Workforce and child care because workers have to have child care campaigning with Tim Walls don't do it finding his role in this historic campaign would you be my running mate and let's get this thing on the road I would be honored Madam vice president after bursting onto the national stage with this word these guys are just weird known as a folky father of two from rural America now a running mate who is not holding back listen to the guy he's talking about Hannibal Lecter and shocking sharks and just whatever crazy thing pops into his mind and finding his own rhythm with his new boss what did you order brisket and greens and mac and cheese what about you I had the brisket and cold saw on this and what about the spice situation the Tabasco what's happening with that I'm going to let him speak for himself the vice president's growing peppers at her residence so she's trying to like bring me along on this you know motans uh it's okay I'm getting there it's all good you just do you I just have to ask you both about two standout moments aside of course from the addresses that you uh both gave but standout moments that were perhaps unexpected during the convention you mentioned one of them Governor uh a moment that you shared that the world shared with your son Gus you were speaking the camera caught him so incredibly proud of you so emotional saying that's my dad yeah I uh I don't know as a father I could ever imagined that I grateful for so many reasons to be on this ticket but that moment um to understand what was really important to to have my son uh feel a sense of pride in me that I was trying to do the right thing and uh it was um you you try and protect your kids you know it brings it brings notoriety in things but it was just such a uh a visceral emotional moment that I'm I'm just I'm grateful I got to experience it and I'm uh I'm so proud of him I'm proud of him I'm proud of hope I'm proud of Gwen she's a wonderful mother and these are great kids and I think the one thing is talking about the era we're in is our politics can be better it can be different we can we can show some of these things and we can have families involved in this and I I hope that there was a I hope people felt that out there and I hope they hugg their kids a little tighter because you just never know and life can be kind of hard and last question uh Madam vice president the photograph that has gone viral you were speaking one of your grand nieces that you were just talking about was watching you accept the nomination you didn't explicitly talk about gender or race in your speech but it obviously means a lot to a lot of people and that Viral picture really says it what does it mean to you you know I listen I am running because I believe that I am the best person to do this job at this moment um for all Americans regardless of race and gender um but I did see that photo RH and I was deeply touched by it and you're right she's it's the back of her head her two little braids and um and then I'm in the front of the photograph obviously speaking and um it's very humbling it's very humbling him anyways did she talk to you about it afterwards oh she had a lot to talk about she had a lot she listened to everything and she listens to everything give you your hot T oh yeah definitely uhhuh madam president governor walls thank you so much for your time appreciate it for thank you Dan thank you this was vice president Harris's first real unscripted setting where voters could see and hear her explain some of her policy positions now and how they differ from before she became vice president and why and this was the first we heard those details about an extraordinary phone call from a president dropping out of the race and endorsing his vice president something that will certainly go down in history CNN has also invited both president Trump and Senator JD Vance to sit down with us we hope to bring that interview to you as well we have plenty of CNN that people have seen on the stage for the last month uh and have uh seen a new sense of sort of confidence uh of calm and uh comfortable uh comfort that we haven't seen before uh from her we didn't see certainly the last time she ran she was uh she was very connected to her word she seemed strong she seemed confident she seemed like someone who could be president of the United States that was the first test one thing because I know we got a lot of opinions here um we we have time for yours don't worry but you know I think she I I well two things then I I think that she uh she hand uh we don't need to watch any more of that what are y'all thinking what are y'all thinking are are y'all okay with this being this may be this may be our president let's keep it real she may she may end up winning I see a lot of comments um how do you not ask about Ukraine that was the biggest softball interview softball interview it was man I I don't I don't even know what to say what are y'all stations act as if Mark Zuckerberg did not just drop one of the like Bombshells statements reveal like the fact that Mark Zuckerberg just revealed that the Biden Harris the Biden Harris Administration was bullying them into censoring certain stuff about Co like it's crazy Ukraine yeah Sebastian just said it so nothing about Ukraine nothing about inflation nothing about the Border nothing about what Mark Zuckerberg just dropped as far as them censoring stuff with covid this is the most you know what this really shows us who's that this is what happens when you continue to vote for the lesser of two evils in your mind you continue to just say oh I'm just gonna vote for the lesser of two evils this is what happens when you push Dei this is what happens when it's embarrassing this that was embarrassing that was embarrassing you had Tim waltz by your side for emotional support or whatever else to answer questions about what how you how Joe Biden to lie about the breakfast that you were cooking for Joe when Joe Biden let you know that he wasn't running anymore let's be real man Joe Biden didn't call you about that like I I just don't Cat Williams said that 2024 is the year of the truth politicians are so used to lying and getting away with it that that's what they continue to do they continue to lie and I'll be totally honest it's on us they they only do what we allow them to get away with if we don't allow them to get away with this then they won't be able to do it this is damn damn and I'll be totally honest I I told myself and for for irck she knows but for the people that don't tune in to our show regularly I said before that I I couldn't vote for Trump or I said that I won't vote for Trump this was because not only was I supporting RFK Jr but also because he's just so divisive I actually like Trump's policies I'll be totally honest I actually like Trump I was one of these people that didn't like Trump I'll be totally honest Hest but certain things about him I like he's funny like he's funny like he's just a funny dude like I I when I hear him talk when I hear him debate when I hear him interview it's funny it's entertaining and then when I also look at the policies that he put in play while he was President you take away covid and things were cool things were cool and this is as somebody who did not like him I was one of these people that couldn't I was mad at Kanye for supporting him I was one of these people that got caught up in the there were good people on both sides saying that Trump was a racist I was one of these people however when I took a step back and maybe cut off MSNBC a little bit and stopped censoring the information that I was receiving I was censoring it just looking listening to a lot of liberal stations because that's what I grew up on I started to sit back and realize like hold up like Trump he's an [ __ ] but a lot of my coaches when I was playing football were [ __ ] but they brought the best out of me we won games so it was cool you know what I mean and that's just who Trump is I'd rather an honest and genuine and direct a-hole than somebody who I feel like does not have the merits does not have the the intellect and Leadership capability to be the person that's going to be sitting down with a Putin sitting down with um Kim Kim Jong I forget his name I forget how to pronounce his name uh sitting down with North Korea sitting down with China I'm cool with that [ __ ] representing me in those meetings and those negotiations and telling China like yo we're not y'all are no longer taking advantage of us when it comes to import exports I'm cool with that a-hole going down to the border and saying like yo this is stopping right now and what's so funny is kamla it seems like the only policies that she's been talking about she's been what Trump's going to do even in the the policy that she was talking about with the Border um I think she mentioned something with the Border did did she not but maybe I'm thinking about another clip but in another clip which you mentioned with the Border it actually includes a wall building the wall all everybody was so mad thought Trump was being so racist right when he was talking about build the wall now the very po the very U policy that she's talking about that was bipartisan that the Border um border people uh supported as well and Trump said oh no don't push it through because it's G to make kamla look good it included the wall so she went from saying that the wall is bad and racist and all this other stuff to to now supporting it she went from not saying anything about service workers being tipped to when Trump says oh yeah we're we're getting rid of you know taxing the tips of service workers now she's saying repeating the same thing so I just I don't know I don't know for a guy that the Liberals refer to as Hitler it seems a little strange that she would be repeating the very same policies that he's supporting I don't get it let me um check out a couple sh all right so Jimmy n Shout out to Jimmy ner Jimmy ner wrote and Trump's interview with Elon Musk wasn't softball please the media still paddles his laws Trump's policies tax cuts for the rich grow up um let me ask you this Jimmy so we're talking about interviews softball interviews did you see the interview with um with Trump and the National Association of black journalists did you see that interview did you hear how it started off Trump goes to away games as well as plays home games Elon Musk happens to be a home game but Trump also goes to a lot of different interviews that are away games I'm an RFK guy let me be clear I've never voted for Trump um I actually have said on my platform multiple times that I won't vote for Trump because he's too divisive I'll be totally honest with you I do not want to vote for any candidate where the other half of the country hates them I would rather not do that I just didn't want to do it I like a RFK guy I want somebody who's going to address the issues with chronic diseases I want somebody who's going to address the uh politicians politicized government agencies like the C CIA and FBI I want a guy who's concerned with with uh what else does what what did um RFK list as the things that he are his top priority I want a guy who's trying to stop Wars I want a guy who actually lives a healthy lifestyle and can do push-ups and pull-ups because that shows me that our country being healthier is important to them this is the same thing that JFK was call out I don't know if y'all have seen they they showed the old JFK video when he did the intro for the Presidential Fitness Awards you remember when we were in I think it was ele no it was Middle School when we did the presidential uh Fitness awards that was the JFK back JFK was the one calling out saying like hey I don't want to see fat chubby kids said fat and chubby I know he said fat I he said fat and chubby I should play the video for y'all if somebody said that now it would be a problem so irck said I don't mind Trump but his mouth he's a part of creating division this is exactly why I said I wouldn't vote for Trump even I'm telling y'all this is this is how this is how I am I like Trump I like Trump's policies I'll be totally honest but I said I won't vote for him I said I won't vote for him because it's too divisive it's too divisive now I don't know if that's the right thing to do I don't know why don't y'all help me get there y'all help me get there I I tell you what is not making the decision hard or is not making me open to kamla when I see softball interviews like that like come on now we're not really gonna act as if Trump gets softball interviews and softball questions people challenge Trump trump this man been going Entertainer but what we do need is somebody who can lead and who is a business person because when you look at the budget of our country this is why we're trying to tax everybody because we spend our money as if we're not a business and then we print out money as if we're not caring about it as if it's our business so when we print out all this money whether it's to to go to a overseas War cause that has nothing to do with us whether it's to give to people that come in the country illegally whether it's for everything else I don't know when you have these typ type of things just like California just lost millions of dollars when you have people that are not financially responsible with our money then we have to tax everybody then we have to print a whole bunch of money and what ises printing a bunch of money cost inflation and then what happens with inflation and we can't afford anything so yes we definitely do not need an Entertainer um kamla I guess could be somewhat entertaining I mean I would I guess I wouldn't say Kam like Barack was you know entertaining I guess in his own way he was like him him like in a Bill Clinton Way um definitely not like Trump but you know Trump is just a trump is just who he is man Trump is just who he is uh Obama created division with critical race Theory and divisive identity politics I'm not a fan of critical race Theory I'm not a fan of critical race Theory you know what's funny to me when they mention critical race Theory I don't understand why people are fighting so hard for critical race Theory when in a lot of these inner cities whether it's Chicago whether it's Baltimore whether it's cities throughout Louisiana all these impoverished black cities and a lot of them have black representation as Mayors the kids can't read and y'all may think I'm exaggerating no in Chicago there was an article that came out that said lit like word for word that no kids could read up to their grade level that's embarrassing but then what do people get mad at they say oh 2025 project the 2025 project it's going to get rid of the education system uh yeah it should we we need to get rid of the education system I believe the education system it's not like we've always had an education system and the education system is not designed to educate let's be real it's designed to indoctrinate it's not designed to educate y'all tell me all right so we went to school for what you go to school high school all right kindergarden and then 12 years so what 13 years 14 if you went to prek another four um if you went to college we go to school for what what do we learn in school that is setting us up for to be successful in life I can't tell you one thing that I learned in high up until high school until graduating high school maybe not even in college that I apply to be successful in life now besides maybe like interacting with different people um I Pro I definitely have a lot of lessons from sports but just as far as in the classroom what what am I using Pythagorean theorem why didn't I learn about taxes they we learn how to put on condoms but we don't even learn how to have conversations and with regarding relationships we don't we don't learn how to talk to our significant others but we learn how to put a condom on a banana all right let's see uh uncompetitive wrote Trump wants to export U export us oil to pay off the national debt um I'm not as familiar with that I'm going be totally honest so is that a good thing to export us oil so you're saying he wants to sell us oil to other countries to pay off national debt um uh I I'm I'm sure I'm missing something I'm telling you I have no idea about this I'm not as familiar so I don't want to comment and say something that it's it's just unintelligent and naive it's going to be I'm not too familiar but if you explain it to me a little bit more then I'll I'll hopefully be able to give you a response but I don't want to just say I'm not familiar with that uh funny thing is I liked Obama at the time as I didn't know what was going on behind the scenes the only mistake I thought he made was uh bailing out failing banks in 2008 I tell you what man Barack Obama and this is what happens with a lot of these politicians I have to almost categorize it where I look at like okay how was the the president and then what does everybody do they say there's like okay what type of president was this but then most people look at it and I'll tell you what most black people do because what how are things marketed to us what did he do for the black community what did he do so we automatically look at it through that lens I'm not sure if other cultures do that as well but when it comes to Barack Obama you look at it where through my personal perspective and I'll just be honest like when it comes to the Democrats the Democrats have lied to black people for so long it's what's so funny is I'll give you an example Joe Biden he was one of the people that signed off on the crime bill right worked on the crime Bill the crime bill is responsible for destroying way more families than anybody can say Donald Trump ever destroyed what's so funny to me is they'll bring up Donald Trump and the article that he published on the Central Park 5 calling for them to get the death penalty five kids right but we don't we act as if Joe Biden and the crime Bill didn't impact thousands hundreds of thousands maybe of people's lives um with excessive punishment for crack cocaine but more lenient punishments for cocaine same drug I don't know his son happens to be we all know his son you you get what I'm saying but then when he was running for president what I found was so funny was he said that his number one priority was the lgbtq community y'all go back and look it up when Joe Biden was running he said his number one priority was the lgbtq Community First off how many people are in that Community second off did you put in a crime bill that took took fathers out of households for different crimes for for different for the same drug but so you destroyed all those black families but now you're saying the lgbtq community is your number one priority I thought it was a little bit weird so I don't know hold on irck said rfk's plan for the national debt is way better uh I'm a RFC y'all know what it is I'm an RFK I make that very clear um there is so shout out to uncompetitive there is oil under Alaska and Trump wants more fracking to make the US Energy independent so it doesn't need to import from the unstable Middle East and and Export it too uh yeah I don't I'll be totally honest that doesn't see like I don't I don't have an issue with that I don't have an issue with that um just based on what you're saying right there that makes sense that makes business sense rather than relying on another source like if I'm a business than relying on another source to put out a partic or to enhance my product why would I not try to do that myself become independent and then not only become independent but sell to them just how they were selling to me or sell to other people sounds like a good thing I Iraq wrote Obama refused to help the Native Americans with stopping the pipelines yo I'm going tell y'all the most disgusting thing that I saw Barack Obama do when he went up I don't know if y'all remember this but I I believe it has to do with the pipelines with the water with the little babies in um Flint with I shouldn't say the little babies but the communities in Flint they didn't have any drinking water and Barack Obama went up there and did like a fake Sip and he was like yeah the water's fine it's fine that was one of the most disgusting things that I've ever seen a politician do period where you're trying to you take a fake sip of water to convince a community that they're drinking water is safe Knowing damn well that it's not that's disgusting dis disgusting irck wrote he lied to them saying he'd help on camera but then did nothing yeah that sounds about right I mean Barack Obama's from Chicago Chicago is damn near like the Middle East when it comes to 12 13 14 15 16 17 year olds killing each other because they live on a different block Barack go walk through some of those neighborhoods pull up on those kids let's fix the neighborhood isn't that what you're here for you're here to as president you're here to serve right right that's a Godly position to serve other people like Jesus was serving other people right so what did Jesus say Jesus didn't just hang out with the elites Jesus went down and hung out with the with the folk right with the folk that needed to help the most so Barack Obama come out of your crib we know y'all got 10 2030 million cribs all over the country maybe some all over the world who knows bring your ass down to the South side right that's the neighborhood right because you ran a whole presidency on the hope and and and and trying to build the case I don't think that's true everybody knew what what he was referring to um and I believe that there was a specific reference but I'll go back and check it out I'll go back and check it out definitely I'll go back and check it out um yeah they were innocent they were found innocent they were found innocent but at the time he didn't know at the time I don't think that um at the time what was it they couldn't do a DNA or something like that forget I forget exactly what it was but um yeah typically on our regular show so we always finish off with a 30 to 45 second meditation I think matter of fact we need that especially with politics so we'll do the same thing so before we take it down for the night just 30 to 45 seconds we like to close our eyes meditate clear out our minds especially when we take in a lot of this political stuff we understand that there's going to be a lot of fear mongering a lot of hatred around it at the end of the day yo it doesn't matter whether you're a Democrat or Republican whether you hate Trump whether you love Trump whether you hate kamla um whether you love her we got to live in this country together we got to figure this out and a lot of times what happens is we allow these politicians to tear us apart to divide us to throw us in this Barrel to to throw us in this cage a bunch of dogs in a cage and give us a little bit of meat and and have us fight for the scraps and it benefits them their entertainment they're lines their pockets when in all actuality it just hurts us the American people and why should they line their pockets they're just we we put them they work for us they work for us so if you're really interested in just serving people and making the community better it shouldn't be about just lying in your pockets in my opinion it should be about real service and I'm not sure that that's what we have in office right now so let's take 30 to 45 seconds if you're in a safe place close your eyes it's uh it's Thursday it's Thursday take a second breathe clear your mind manifest do whatever you need to do but 30 to 45 seconds seconds try to make this a daily habit I like to do it in the in first thing in the am as well as in the evening so 30 to 45 seconds if you're in a safe place close your eyes and just breathe all right let's go one more deep breath all right man appreciate y'all y'all already know what it is some of y'all don't know what it is so I'll let y'all know this is what we do on the OG Network we Elevate on purpose we are very intentional about becoming the person that we need to become in change uh onward and upward strength and honor we always finish off with uh you know saying get to the bag what's going to be in your bag what are the most important things that you're going to prioritize in your life living in your purpose as we strive for purposeful abundance so I'll tell y'all what's in my bag health wealth Integrity peace love and happiness and on that note what did irck day-to-day lives we don't need to be arguing with anybody at work we don't need to be arguing and and messing up family relationships we don't need to be doing that all right let's just figure out a way that we can grow and build we know think about it we argue about how to we argue about having a difference of opinion of how to make our country better so at least the people that are arguing at least they're showing some level of passion about caring about making our country better so I know that's you know just a basic surface level type of thing but if we can kind of shift our perspective and shift our mindset to appreciate the input that other people give you know um and let's just figure out a way we got to work together this is think about it I'm I'mma end with this we could have been born at any other time we could have been born at any other time in the world we could have been born in any other place but uncompetitive is here Ira is here we are all here together living in this world connected with each other at the very same time how fortunate are we like there's there's people like let's compete with the other Generations let's not compete with ourselves let's compete with the other generations and so we can leave our stamp behind so the people that were on this planet during 2024 on August 29th we this is this is what we gonna stand on all right when it's all said and done whatever you believe happens to us in the afterlife when it all said and done we're going to be judged on how we behaved and got along with each other and we able to leave a certain stamp on this planet and I believe it's all of our purpose to leave this world in a better place than the one that we inherited when we were born so let's just continue to just strive to do better let's just
