what are your nerves like and when did you know you were going to get this started and how much have you thought about this whole atmosphere and everything that just happened um earlier this week uh you know Andrew got a little banged up last week so I had to step up this week and you know take take all the Reps uh you know since Beasley could not and it kind of hit me uh Monday when you know they're like you know you could potentially go in and start against Texas the number 14 in the country so um that's when it hit me and it was a big hit it was a lot of emotions a lot of nerves but I think tonight it really I really calmed it down I just went out there and had fun just played ball didn't seem like you had the nerves uh did you were unfold uh I mean I guess a little bit um you know I get a little nervous before every game but once I get that big hit or that big play you know that's that's when it kind of all just goes away and just you know go out there and have fun yeah that's a key third down conversion on the first drive and then Harrison went yeah to the house how much did that kind of settle everything down oh my gosh it was awesome it silenced the whole place you could really you could really tell um yeah it was a great third down conversion and then you'll get the ball in Harrison's hands first came back he goes do so he goes and do something with the explosive you know big big play so that was really exciting Evan you're sitting there tied with number 14 of the country 10 10 going on the fourth quarter what is what does a game like this kind of do for your your confidence going forward oh it gives me all the confidence in the world I mean you're hanging in with you know the best of the best and uh they're a great team we're a great team and we showed that and I think it gives us all confidence confidence moving forward can you share with us at all with Coach Paul Seneca ball said anything to you about your performance tonight uh just a great job uh you know way to step up you know big first game so I'm sure it's bittersweet because Peasley's probably encouraging you and you'll probably feel bad absolutely oh it was nice I mean all night he was you know coming up to me like you know he got this like encouraging me all the way um not only him but all the other guys um and it was really nice you know it really boosted my confidence I really appreciate that from this team how about the offense blind play it looked like you had a lot of time oh my gosh they killed it they held their own tonight they did great I mean those guys are really big uh but the offensive line they are spectacular they really killed it tonight and I really appreciate them senior super experience man how much does that leadership on both sides of the ball kind of help this community with all these guys uh yeah I mean it helps a lot uh you know having experienced guys in there uh they're just like you know we got your back uh I got theirs so a lot of trust between us and I really appreciate that did you feel like you know that 17th played right drive you guys had to tie it if you could have scored a touchdown that might have put some parts yeah I think it would have swayed the momentum a little bit for sure but um just got to go down there next time and finish and execute
