Intro last night on The Bachelorette welcome to Freddy fazbears where fantasy and fun come to life okay welcome to Connecticut did you take me here to kill me or what tell me how it's too [Music] l oh my God what is that been where to it's a it's a little grocery store W I always get be weirdo Devon it's hometown's week of The Bachelorette the episode where some of the most important decisions are made like which of these moms and dads production wants to poach for the golden bachelor and bachelorette and first up for their Hometown is none other than Devon on the first night if you told me Devon was getting Hometown in Houston Texas I probably would not have believed you if you had Pete Davidson my sleep paralysis demon the guy who only packed his American flag and this guy I have a really big I know like a really big if you had them marked in your top four based on Vibes alone I can't tell if I want to be friends with you or if your brain needs to be studied for science so for this Hometown Jen is in Houston Texas where Devon is going to introduce her to some of his friends we're going to be getting active so I hope you stretch I did it should we stret right now show me your best stret now they a running group a running group no no no no no if you take me on a HomeTown date and the running group comes out I'm going so these two set up for a run where Devin starts looking like this fuini Alfredo time to carbal load but ends the Run looking like this I ate more fetuccini Alfredo and drank less water than I have in my entire life however you know it's true love when you're drenched in sweat but your lady still wants to hug all up on you she accepts me for who I am 100% Deon then introduces Jen to a gal he loves even more than her and we then move on to meeting Devon's humans here Devon is very nervous as his family including his biological father that he mentioned wasn't a part of his childhood growing up well this family isn't a traditional one however Jen is is very comfortable with that as neither is her family in fact that was something that brought these two together so Jen has no problem opening up about all the Wild Things they've done on the show he put on a little show for himself oh we did like a whole strip show it was he wore g string you wore something don't don't say that very as little as they could possibly let me wear but the whole storyline of this Hometown is that Devon is full-blown in love with Jen but he's still afraid to tell her I don't want to tell her I love her and then for her to turn around and tell somebody else that she loves them too yeah that's that's a scary part but as Devon sits down with his mom she encourages him to tell Jen after all there are other men in the picture who might not be hesitating to share their feelings so be honest with her you're not going to be the one if you don't yeah yeah you're my hero thank you I love you m I Love You So at the end of the night Devin takes his mom's advice don't care anymore I love you I love you D I need you to know that okay moving on to the next Hometown where Jeremy is in Connecticut and is showing Jen around his favorite spots my favorite Park yeah it looks really discreet did you take me here to kill me or what yeah this whole Hometown is going to be a fever dream first they head to Stu Leonard's the evil chuckecheese of grocery chains absolutely terrifying yep you're seeing it right this is a HomeTown date in a grocery store filled with samples walking down aisles Jeremy's Aunt randomly there oh my God that's my aunt what wait I need to say what oh you know if my niece or nephew was on this show i' totally crashed their day date by accident but not really but all right but all right we're halfway through this date what are we raing this Connecticut cursed Costco Hometown so far you already know what this is Boom now for Jen this Hometown is Jen about seeing if Jeremy can move past the fun jokey guy and also get serious which if you meet Jeremy's mom yeah it's going to get serious Jeremy and Jen they have a good like sense of humor back and forth but when she was named The Bachelorette she described what she looks for in a guy and I said to myself that is not Jeremy so Jen comes in and the whole family is a little guarded mostly because it's far along in this process but Jen and Jeremy haven't really expressed their feelings to each other so it's hard to imagine them getting engaged in just a couple more weeks plus Jen tells Jeremy's sister that Jeremy is sort of holding back his feelings and well the grilling then commences as Jeremy tells his mom that he has so much fun with Jen yeah but it's one thing to have fun like do you feel that you know her well enough that this is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with it's not it's not a game it's not a show True very true except for the show part you're on a show right now so Jeremy's mom then sits down with Jen who asks if Jeremy is ready to move past the fun and get serious about an engagement I just met you no so it has a lot to do with you as a couple I think if it was the right person he could be ready I don't know how you two really are together you know what I totally agree and understand where mom's coming from I mean she's being pretty serious and not giving the answers Jen really wants but I don't think she's being rude still this leaves Jen very conflicted as hometowns end even after Jeremy pulls this out and I know I haven't told you this but like I am long for you like I just love being I love being with you like genuinely well Jonathan with that the date is finished and we're now moving on to Hometown number three with Jonathan in San Diego here these two are hitting the lacrosse field before Jonathan gets honest with Jen he still got walls up after his last relationship and that's affecting his ability to be completely open and vulnerable my worst nightmare would be for you to be like why do you love me and may not be able to answer wholeheartedly and honestly all right my dude saw the Samm and was like yeah I'm not going to end up like that guy but maybe a trip to see the family will help bring those walls down and luckily Jonathan's family is no stranger to the speedrunning relationships process so we met on Tinder we met online and we said I love you on the third date oh my God and we've been together seven years married for four well this couple even has the bachelor people going slow down try a little foreplay but like with Devin Jonathan's family is here to tell him hey man if you're feeling it you have to tell her because at this point it's either lay it out or pack it up you have to play Big to win big right I agree you could also lose big but either way you're going to be glad that you put everything in so don't hold back if this is what you want so this mixed with Jonathan's family saying Jen seems like a genuine person means Jonathan is ready to take the risk and tell Jen how he's feeling Jennifer TR mhm I am falling for you all right Marcus someone has said I'm falling for you on a bench that means this Hometown is shut down and we're now moving on to the final Hometown in Tacoma Washington with Marcus and what's with the men meeting up with Jen in places like this did you take me here to kill me or what now at this Hometown we're seeing the same script as pretty much all the other hometowns where it's important for Jen to see if Marcus is able to open up about his feelings so the show just skips straight ahead to the meet the family portion of the day where Jen is meeting Marcus's sister and his friends as his adoptive parents won't be there so instead Marcus is turning to Scott here a sort of mentor and parental figure of his to get some advice on being sort of stuck with his feelings for Jen but I think I'm kind of stuck somewhere between really really liking someone and and loving them and Jen definitely senses this from Marcus as well but when Jen sits down with marcus' sister it's here where she gets really reassured as Gabriella tells Jen that a lot of the traumas in marcus' life have led to him putting up those walls just seeing him with you when you guys were walking in like I felt the energy and I felt the connection and I've never seen him genuinely have that smile on his face that I saw on him with you so and well that seems to be enough for Jen I guess she really really likes Marcus and is so ready to hear good news she grabs on to this and runs with it then Gabriella sits down with her brother and tells him like we've heard from so many loved ones this episode it could be the best thing if you just let that guard down and let it in all scary love is scary but it's definitely worth it at the end of the day yeah so once more here comes that final bench sit down conversation where you know what's about to get said I want you to know that you know I am thaing for you so that's Hometown number four but The Rose Ceremony before we get to the Rose ceremony the guys are getting together for a drink this show is such a strange process as you're all dating the same woman but you spend so much time together filming without your phones or anything to do so you also become friends but as the guys talk about how amazing their hometowns were one man is starting to see how the others are feeling how they have complete Clarity and now now for him the doubts are creeping in the guys seem like they you know have given the opportunity that they would get down on a knee and like not have you know any reservations about that like I just kind of feel like I'm like behind but it's too late to do anything about it now as the men have arrived for the rose ceremony and for one man it's going to be a beautiful night for some heartbreak think about the truth now first up for the Rose no surprise is Devin then it's Jonathan's turn so this one comes down to mixed feelings Marcus or jokester [Music] Jeremy Marcus so with that Jeremy is headed back home left only with the memories of his hometown to hold on to [Music] absolutely terrifying so that's it for this recap of week seven
