Intro the Miami Dolphins have released their first dep chart and you'll know why I'll put the quotes up in two seconds also we get details on Tyreek Hills contract and where the Miami Dolphins sit when it comes to cap space let's jump into [Music] this what is up Finn B how's everyone doing on this Tuesday morning early morning video for you guys because later today the myi Dolphins are hosting yes hosting joint I'm like is is that this week hosting joint practice for the first time with the Atlanta Falcons today and tomorrow then they have off and then Friday at 7 o'clock the Miami Dolphins are hosting the Atlanta Falcons and the first time our peepers can watch Miami Dolphin football then next week I will be at training camp on Thursday knock on wood it doesn't rain because I'm I saw the forecast it looks like it's going to rain forever so hopefully when I get down there Camp isn't cancelled I'd be very upset but we're going to jump into this we're going to jump right into this I'm going to do a backflip right into this and look at Tyreek Hill's contract Tyreek Hill and this is how his contract is structured so there have they have the voided um year here but if you notice there's no dead money there's no dead money until after 2025 so they restructured the crap out of his contract three years 90 million average salary is 30 million but again if you see uh the cap hit this year went down from 80 31 or 32 million down to 18 million uh he's got a signing bonus of 7,000 he's got guaranteed at signing 54 million uh 7 million not 7,000 and a total guarantee of 59 million so re restructure pration a lot of this stuff and the signing bonus and all this stuff is all the stuff that was moved to create more cap space so again last year not last year before he restructured his contract huge cap hit here I think it was like we saved like $14 million restructuring him next year it's up to 31 million they probably won't touch that cuz you necessarily shouldn't again two years you get two more years out of Tyreek Hill this year and next year that's kind of the window the Dolphins are in right now right then after 2025 they can move on from him and save 55 round up three million regardless if they trade him before June 1st cut him before June 1st or after there is no dead cap hit here so they can move on from him after 2025 and it will cost nothing and if you remember how Tu aong of's contract is structured they can move on from him after 2025 and save $38 million so if the wheels fall off and nothing's happening and everything is going to crap and we need to tear it down and start all over again and Tua has just shown can't get over the hump or two or shows that he is horrible and this this and that after 2025 we still have jayen waddle but we will probably trade Tyreek Hill get some assets save $ 55.3 million and then release to a Tong of aloa or trade him get some type of assets and save 38 million so in one off seon the Dolphins can save about 902 million in cap space it's a very good restructuring of the contract now you guys want to know hey Doug where are the um Miami Dolphins when it comes to cap space now that uh it has been restructured the Dolphins right here are ranked fifth the Dolphins have 35 Point again I'm going to round up $8 million in cap space now they're going to need that and they're going to need to roll that over because next year in 2025 they are are down there where is it where is it where is it where is it cap space 64 million now this doesn't the negative 64 million I don't think counts the carryover if my brain is working correctly also there's a lot of moves that can be made like moving on from Bradley chub moving on from toron Armstead that could save more cap space Also resigning or giving uh Jaylen Phillips a contract extension so seeing that -64 million doesn't worry me because again I don't think the 32 million is counted in the carryover also the cap space is going to go up by 50 million so technically the Dolphins will be4 million and again if we go in here because I know some people are probably freaking out you go to toron Armstead just to ease your mind 2025 we cut him we say post June 1st 14 and a half 14.3 million you come over here order Bradley chub if he's just showing that he's not that same guy anymore come over here 20 million so you save about 34 million so it's fine let's not worry about next year or yeah let's not worry about next year right now because the season hasn't even started so that is kind of where Depth Chart the cap space is we are 32 million uh in cap space also um we have outs after 2025 so we got this team for about two more years this year and next year we'll see we'll see how that all pans out so obviously the title of this video is about the first released depth chart now I put these quotations up because this this depth chart is something they need to do because they're playing a preseason game on Friday so they kind of just took a bunch of names and they threw it at the wall and they said there's your depth chart NFL we have to give you one before the game here you go nothing it means nothing the who's where Washington M Macau and Burton you might be asking yourself hey where is obj he's on the physically unable to perform list so he is not on here you got your starting offensive line here is toron Armstead Robert Jones Aaron Bru and mik Berg Austin Jackson I think we all saw that especially because Isaiah win is on the the physically unable form list backing him up I find interesting Patrick Paul is backing up to Ron Armstead Kendall lamb is backing up Austin Jackson then you have Ryan Hayes and Matos you have Driscoll backing up Liam mikenberg you have uh Smith backing up Jones you have Jones backing up Smith and Chason Hines and then you have Lester cotton uh back here and then your uh my brain just was like stop talking just stop your Center Brewer Meyer and then the harlo uh dra Trade sign uh that we signed recently then you got your tight ends Durham Smite is the head of jnu Smith it's going to be rotation with these guys but if you guys remember I said you're three the three that are definitely going to make this roster are Durham SMI jnu Smith Julian Hill Boop and who's your one two3 Durham SMI jnu Smith Julian Hill J uh for Connor and RI RI is a a long shot to make it the fight for that last tight end spot is definitely going to come between these two guys you have Al Eng gold as your fullback he's the only fullback and your running backs are Raheem MOA Devon aain Jeff Wilson savan ammed Chris Brooks and uh Jaylen Wright uh if I had to put them in an order I would put Jaylen Wright ahead of these two guys but again who gives a crap and then your quarterbacks are TOA Mike White Skyler Thompson there you go now I'm going to move this down we're going to look at the defense don't be startled by this fancy doohickey technology that I'm pulling off right now that look at the defense you're starting defensive front sealer Bonito Jones Clay Campbell I don't hate that you're starting linebackers quinnon Bell David long Jr uh Jordan Brooks and Emanuel agba Quinton Bell is doing fantastic stuff and I'm very happy that he is able to uh start for the preseason game then your starting Corners jayen Williams K Fuller you're starting and then you got they threw that Nickel in air again different Ty type of Defense ker kou your starting safeties are Javon Holland and Jordan puyer you got your backups for the defensive line which is just all a bunch of defensive tackles you got har tart hand you got gallamore peely and Mack and then you have pain pain over here pain in my butt I'm sorry and then you have uh your outside linebackers your backups are brown and Robinson chop Robinson I can't wait to see him get some reps on Friday you have Murphy who again I'm hearing really good things about and mo Kamara then you're into your is on the 23rd so you got to think about it this way right give you a little little behind the scenes in my brain meat the last uh preseason game is Friday the 23rd against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 7:30 the first um game of the season is I want to make sure I get this right and I'm not just toting out of my own butt yeah the eighth which means they get about two week weeks from the 23rd to the 8th in those two weeks you're going to get a lot from me when it comes to uh well obviously before the cuts the mandatory 53 is uh due I'm going to give you my record prediction uh not record prediction my 53 man roster prediction I'm also in those two weeks going to give you my record prediction before the season starts my expectations for the team my expectations for Tu tongoa a lot of stuff is going to be happening cuz we are going into full overdrive for the start of the Season which is happening very soon we are getting close like I said Friday we're going to watch Dolphin football but a month from Thursday is the start of the season for the Miami Dolphins four weeks from Thursday we're getting there we're getting there I'm going to have a new intro I got to get working
