in honor of the 2024 par Olympic Games kicking off in Paris today we're here at jackoo Plaza and right behind me is the iconic Olympic cauldron that will be lit for two hours to celebrate the start of the par Olympics now plenty of people former olympion past Olympic champion Phil the wizard Kim who won golden breaking was here to celebrate the occasion I'm very proud to be Canadian I'm very proud to to have represented breaking and to have been able to show myself on that stage um and I'm very very excited to continue watching all the par Olympic athletes compete as well I actually have a lot of friends who are on uh who are in Paris right now who are competing for the games so I'll be cheering them on and I hope everyone will be as well well when they light The Cauldron for the paral Olympic Games it uh rekindles the you know the excitement and the anticipation of and the possibilities of uh bringing home uh to Canada all the uh accolades that our athletes have been striving for so it it really brings it close and uh and near to myself now the iconic Olympic cauldron may only be lit for 2 hours here at Jacko Plaza but the fire and excitement will continue to burn for the par Olympics from today August the 28th all the way to September the 8th in Vancouver Joe Sadowski City news
