The villages at Turning Stone RV Park

welcome back it's late August 2024 and I cannot wait to show you the Villages at turning stone in Verona New York it's a Scenic and well-designed park with walking trails a pool tennis court playground paddleboats and even an arcade but it doesn't have a dog off leash area a major flaw in my opinion but besides that it's lovely and has so much to offer the staff is wonderful too I really appreciate how they took care of us during our stay this park has 175 sites with different sized areas for a wide range of campers and motor homes it's a beautiful Park I'm not going to do a tour because there are plenty of other videos showing that but I'll give you a little bit of sneak peek one of my favorite things about this park are these Boardwalk trails [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] it's a beautiful summer day the sun came out and 70° which is what we're always shooting for I did a double take when I saw this family with their dog it looks just like Daisy if she had longer legs and a [Music] tail this is such a beautiful Park I really love it but there is something if I had to complain about something the only thing would be that they don't have a dog park they don't have an off leash area for pets how insane is that it's like huge it has every amenity Under the Sun but it does not have a dog park there should be a law against that honestly I've met like 12 dogs just today and everyone's like why don't we have a dog park the dogs want to meet and play and sniff and say high and run around and there's no way to exercise your pet here oh my gosh I don't understand help me understand I would rather stay in a park that was run down and didn't have all the amenities but had a nice dog park than one that didn't even if it had everything else but that's just me look at this beautiful place just so pretty oh it's so quiet peaceful ah if only it had a dog park ooh there's a cute little doggy little cutie looks like a little fox o it looks like a oh there's two of them um look at them cute it's a movie of them by Richard Gear oh really I really enjoyed watching Dave and chrisy enjoy a friendly tennis match we had fun out on the paddle boats too [Music] we had to move our RV to a different spot cuz we extended our stay here and look it's almost empty right now but come Friday it's going to be jammed Labor Day weekend this place is going to be full they have 175 spots in this park it's big Park one of my favorite features at this Campground is that you get your own garbage can everybody has their own garbage can these sites are huge beautiful place one day Christy and I took Daisy on a rail car ride [Applause] and Christy found a great place to ride horses so that was really fun for her she hasn't ridden in quite some time well you know what time it is Bittersweet Time to Say Goodbye to this beautiful Park we didn't spend nearly as much time as we planned cuz we were visiting family most of the time but it is awesome and I would definitely recommend coming here and I hope to come again well I said I wasn't going to come on the East Coast again because it's just been too crazy driving and the weather and uh but maybe because we're getting a new roof in a couple of weeks that's the story for another video we'll see you soon in the next one and I'm not sure where that will be yet bye [Music]
