and I think the name of the game is the inconsistency that he has shown so far through training camp in the preseason we know he has the big leg we know he can make long kicks but the problem is and he showed it again this week in the preseason he missed a 30-yard field goal out of the elements at Ford Field if he also hit a 46 y so as you can see the inconsistency is off the charts he also had two kickoff penalties one to start the game would start the other team's possession at the 40 yard line and the lions will not be successful in this revamp defense if we're starting them off in good field position on every kickoff we just can't have it and I just the fact that they have not brought in anyone else tells me they're moving forward with him the only thing I can think of especially on these kickoff penalties is that he's working on certain things trying to develop a certain kick style or something that may help them in the long run if that's not the case it's truly unacceptable and it's something the lions are going to have to think about as they head into the regular season
