Rogers your your Hall of Fame level players right and I don't I don't think any of us would put Dak in that category I don't think any of us are are most of us I mean I guess you can't get anyone to agree on anything 100% these days but that's true for most teams and that's that's where I tend to push back against that narrative because my issue there is that only gets applied to some teams like it kind of doesn't get applied to the Ravens at all Ravens have the exact same issues Houston kind of didn't get it applied to them when they beat the Browns Browns a playing Joe flacko quarterback so you can make that argument for almost every team except the teams that win the Super bowl or make it there and that's where the Cowboys are Cowboys have been a top 10 team pretty much are close to every year the quarterback's been healthy and that's a good spot to be but it's not a good enough spot to be from tkg what game are you most looking forward to the season vers uh versus the Ravens dig vers digs hopefully the Bengals well the Bengals game for me always stands out uh because it is the Downey family game where all my family are Bengals fans and I'm the Cowboys fans and they stunned the the Bengals last time they which I don't think many people saw coming uh so I would like I think that one always stands out to me um I'm not looking forward to it but that ners game matters a lot to me in terms of like am I going to allow myself to get my hopes up come January I think this is still a good football team I think they're a 10 maybe 11 win win team better than most but better than most in a league where more and more it's all about Championship robust isn't good enough it's not a bad it's not bad I want to emphasize that part we should not be calling the Cowboys trash they're they're not trash but the results have been disappointing so I think though those the the Ravens game the Texans game all the good teams you play added emphasis for me I will enjoy the hell out of blowing out the Giants by by 40 don't get me wrong but you know gotta gotta win some big games there from Austin if Lance wins the quarterback 2 job can you trade Cooper Rush it can try I don't I don't know who's going to be interested though in Cooper rush you know like I I I think that that there's not much interest there I'm curious how the teams apply their their new rules you can have the third guy come with the practice squad I believe that might make teams more likely to carry less than than than three carry two well then teams don't need in then does Dallas put on the practice squad themselves so I don't think there's that much value for group Rush in large part because we saw him become a free agent and and he came back to Dallas on a super cheap deal because there just wasn't that much interest in him so what draft pick do you believe Cooper Rush is worth not what Dallas would accept what do you think he is worth than a hypothetical trade it's the pin comment on today's whatever and if you don't think he's top 10 you're whatever I'm not going to waste my time arguing there either he does need help and this is not momes or Josh Allen or whatever and I think there's a tangible difference between how the Cowboys have run their Supporting Cast how the Eagles have run their Supporting Cast and the I still put them in the conspiracy theory bucket of Jerry's just setting up excuses and the Jones boys are going to say it's the quarterback fault it's the head coach fault it's never our fault add some Credence when they just don't make any moves I that deserves at least some of the blame for the playoff losses all of it no of course not I I wish it I wish it were a ram scenario where yeah the quarterback's just not good enough would have needed us a Herculean effort from the quarterback to beat the Packers in the postseason because your defense didn't stop a nose boot in that game had they did better against the Niners quarterback didn't play well P out the Rams in the Run game it's always multiple things right it's never quite as black and white from that perspective I think it's clear and I agree with Mark here got to get more help you have to try more and be more aggressive or it's not going to work that's why I didn't like this off season because the offseason was let's do nothing it is the definition of insanity it's not going to work the Cowboys didn't get better on paper they didn't make moves to make themselves better they're just hoping this time we get Super Lucky and look Luck's been against them in the playoffs the Dez Cod it game the the the Romo fumble game the the Jared Cook tow drag swag andame they've had they've had some uh Paul if Paul doesn't get hurt against the ners they might have won that game I still think that because they're moving the ball pretty well with him out there if they they've had some bad luck but can't just be lockone to change the fortunes right so I agree with with a lot of that
